Three minutes of added time have been allocated by the referee here so Spain haven't got long to wait to secure their opening win. Czech can feel aggrieved at the lateness of the goal, but they have showed desperately little ambition and ultimately deserve to be the losing side. Two minutes to go, though!
88'
D. Pavelka enters the game and replaces T. Rosický.
How heartbreaking for the Czech Republic, and nobody is sure to feel it more than Rosicky, who leaves the action and throws his armband down in frustration to be replaced by David Pavelka.
87'
Piqué has scored a goal for Spain! Assist by Andrés Iniesta.
Majestic stuff from Iniesta as he picks out Pique for the potential winner!
GOOOOOAAAAAAAALLL!!! GOOOAAAAALLLLLL FOR SPAIN! Iniesta collects the ball in midfield completely unopposed and ventures forward before clipping a glorious cross to the back post for Pique, who nods into the bottom right corner from close range! One-nil - incredible!
86'
J. Šural enters the game and replaces T. Gebre Selassie.
Another change for the Czech Republic here as Josef Sural replaces Gebre Selassie.
85'
Juanfran is continually bombing forward down the right wing, what with no defensive responsibilities at the moment. This time, he hits the byline before standing a cross to the back post, but before Alba can latch on the end of it Rosicky vigilantly smashes a clearance behind for a corner.
83'
We can expect pretty much Spanish attacks versus Czech defence for the last 10 minutes or so here as the only player in the Roja half at the moment is De Gea between the sticks. Vrba's outfit are having to dig in so incredibly hard, but it is not over yet!
82'
Pedro enters the game and replaces Nolito.
81'
Last throw of the dice from Del Bosque here as he makes his third and final change. Entering the action is Pedro, who was a stalwart of the Euro 2012 winning side, enter the action to replace the ineffectual Nolito.
79'
STUNNING interception from Krejci! The Czech winger, who has been forced into defensive positions all game, brilliantly gets back in behind his own defence to keep Thiago from pulling the trigger whilst through on goal. That looked a CERTAIN opener for Spain, but they are frustrated again!
77'
Nolito shows some quick feet on the edge of the box to evade a couple of challenges before popping a pass out wide to Juanfran. The Atletico man finds a yard of space before curling a teasing cross to the back post, but the strike on goal comes from an ambitious Aduriz bicycle kick which eventually flashes wide.

75'
D. Lafata enters the game and replaces T. Necid.
It is now the Czech's turn to start making substitutions and their first sees the domestic league's top scorer, David Lafata, enter the action to replace Tomas Necid, who has certainly put in a shift up top. Some fresh legs now!
74'
SLICED WIDE FROM SILVA! An impressive bit of play on the edge of the box from Spain allows Nolito to find Iniesta, who subsequently tees up the Manchester City man. However, the subsequent strike on goal is pretty awful as it ends up going a good two yards wide of the post.
72'
Just under 20 minutes to go in this Group D clash and Spain are at risk of starting their European Championships defence with a disappointing 0-0 draw against the Czechs, who have defended very admirably throughout. The lack of a truly world-class centre-forward is hurting Del Bosque's outfit so far today!
70'
Thiago Alcântara enters the game and replaces Cesc Fàbregas.
Second Spanish change now and it is another attacking one from Spain as Bayern Munich's Thiago Alcantara enters the action to replace Fabregas, who kept the scoreline at 0-0 with that unbelievable clearance off the line moments ago.
68'
Spain have done fairly well to curb that small ascendancy from the Czech Republic from a few minutes ago, and are now looking the most likely nation to find the opening goal once again. Aduriz gets his first glimpse of goal after latching on to a cross at the back post, but it is too high in the end which means he fails to connect on his header.
66'
The Spain fans are getting pretty worried in the stands now, and with good reason as the Czech Republic are growing in confidence as this game progresses. The latter would actually be 1-0 up if not for the heroics of Fabregas, but La Roja could be doing with some heroics at the other end of the pitch here!
64'
INCREDIBLE CLEARANCE FROM FABREGAS! Gebre Selassie rises high at the back post to nod a cross back into the danger area, and Hubnik looks poised to latch on the end of it to smash home. Much like Jerome Boateng for Germany yesterday evening, though, Cesc saves his nation with a clearance off the line! Still 0-0!
62'
Aduriz enters the game and replaces Álvaro Morata.
Vicente del Bosque makes his opening change in the proceedings here in Toulouse and introduces Aritz Aduriz in place of Alvaro Morata, who has had an off-day in front of goal in this Group D clash. The Athletic Bilbao man was the top scoring Spaniard in La Liga this season, so not a bad player to bring on!
61'
D. Limberský gets yellow.
We have our first yellow card of the match now and it is a deserved one for Limbersky, who goes in late on Silva deep down the right touchline. Free-kick to Spain in a useful position, while the Viktoria Plzen defender needs to remain careful for the last 30 minutes.
59'
The Czech Republic are arguably enjoying their best period of the match in the last couple of minutes as they have managed to give Spain a couple of scares with some pacey counter-attacks. La Roja have nearly shot themselves in the foot, granted, but they need to try and sort their backline.
57'
WHAT A CHANCE FOR THE CZECHS! Krejci curls in a wicked cross to the middle of the Spanish box and Hubnik evades everyone to get down to slide a low strike towards the bottom corner! Luckily for Del Bosque and his charges, De Gea reads the attempt extremely well and gets his body behind the ball to make the block.
55'
Gebre Selassie has been very vigilant in his defensive responsibilities so far, and has continually got back to help out his full-back up against Nolito. He needs to be more aware of Alba's overlapping runs, but he is just playing so deep it is hard to spot where the Spaniard is going to come from.
53'
Alvaro Morata is, of course, a player with an abundance of talents, but a predatory eye for goal isn't necessarily one of them. He has been more inclined to come deep to see more of the ball rather than play on the should to look for tap-ins, which he shoould have had at least one of by now!
51'
Alba hugs the left touchline and then bursts into life with a marauding run towards the byline. He pulls off an absolutely outstanding low cross to the back post, but there are no takers for Spain, with Morata lingering in a deeper position! That was begging to be smashed home into the empty net, but the Czechs survive!
49'
Morata is looking extremely sharp since the break and seems much more eager to run in behind the defence to latch on to balls over the top. This time, he runs through to be confronted by Cech, prompting the attempt at a lob, but once again he went forward slightly prematurely which results in the linesman raising his flag.
48'
Spain are heaping MASSIVE pressure on the Czech goal in the early stages of this second half with a succession of corners. The first actually came about after Limbersky almost scored an own-goal with a desperate clearance, only for it to bounce off the outside of the post for the corner-kick.
46'
We are back under way in this Group D clash!
45'
SAVE FROM DE GEA! The Manchester United goalkeeper is tested for the first time in the match as Necid fires a stinging strike at goal from the edge of the penalty area after a neat counter-attack from the Czech Republic. At the second attempt, the Spaniard gathers, though.
43'
Two minutes to go in the first half here, and it doesn't seem like we are going to see too much extra time as the game has been relatively free-flowing with Spain effortlessly dominating possession.
41'
Cech is proving to be the difference between a 0-0 scoreline and a Spain lead at the moment as he makes yet another save between the sticks for the Czech Republic. This time he foils Silva, who bursts in behind the defence only to be pounced upon at his feet by the large frame of the goalkeeper.
39'
SAAAAAVE FROM CECH! Alba once again gets in behind Kaderabek at right-back to latch on to a pass into the channel and steps up to rifle a strike aimed at the bottom corner. The Arsenal stopper makes the block and Morata goes for the rebound, but Rosicky defends well this time to clear into the stand!
37'
Rosicky retreats into deep midfield to try and help out but only succeeds in fouling Iniesta. Fabregas stands over the subsequent free-kick and clips a speculative effort towards the back post, but it is relatively easy for Sivok to head away the danger in the end. The high balls aren't working for Spain at the moment.
35'
Nolito, who has showed glimpses of quality without being a direct threat to goal, picks up the ball in his favourite position hugging the left touchline before typically cutting inside on his ride foot. He cleverly picks out Busquets on the edge of the box, but the resulting strike on goal from the Barcelona midfielder goes horribly high and wide into the stand.
33'
You have to hand it to the Czechs so far as they have done relatively well to squeeze the space in front of their own defence, but it does look a matter of time before Spain can gain the small amount of room required to get the opener. Pavel Vrba's charges will do well to keep up this level of concentration for 90 minutes.
31'
The Czech defence is completely static which allows Morata to break the offside trap to run in behind. He finds the overlapping run of Alba with a clever bit of trickery and the cross is eventually swung into the box from the left-back, but it is food and drink for Cech who easily comes off his line to clutch out of the air.
29'
MORATAAAA! JUST WDE! Czech Republic gives the ball away in a terrible position in midfield and Iniesta pounces before flashing a pass into the feet of his compatriot. The subsequent strike is sent low towards the bottom corner, but it seems like Cech JUST manages to tip round the post before it nestles in the corner! Great save.
27'
What a clearance from Sivok! Juanfran manages to get in behind the Czech defence via the right wing before attempting to tee up Morata, but before the striker can get the shot away, the Czech defender slides in with the goal-saving tackle! Spain knocking at the door now.
25'
One thing that has been lacking in Spain's performance so far has been some dynamism. They have been characteristically comfortable in possession as always, but with the Czechs sitting extremely deep in defence much of the possession has came in relatively unthreatening areas.
23'
Fabregas, who has been fairly quiet so far, drifts into a more advanced area in the centre before attempting an ambitious diagonal to the left wing for Nolito, but Kaderabek reads it well and rises high to make the headed interception, which allows the Czech Republic to clear.
21'
Some worrying scenes for Spain here as Ramos is currently down injured after a clash with Limbersky inside the Czech box. It looks like the Real Madrid captain may just have a problem with his elbow, but he should be able to continue after shaking off the problem.
19'
Spain have been known in recent times to implement a 'False 9' in attack, more often than not Fabregas, who will come deep to receive the ball to introduce others into the game. However, in Morata they have someone who is a genuine focal point, always willing to run in behind. He is the target for just about every cross.
17'
Alba has typically been providing lots and lots of width on that left wing, attempting to hit the byline whenever possible when Nolito cuts inside. This time, the Barca full-back successfully drfits by a challenge or two, but is forced to settle for the corner as his cross cannons off Kaderabek.
15'
SAAAAAAAVE FROM CECH! Silva pops up down the right flank this time and twists and turns his way into the area before flashing a low cross along the six-yard box. Morata gets on the end of it to divert a strike on goal, but the Arsenal goalkeeper makes himself big to make the vital save! Should be a goal, though!
13'
Spain get the chance to get a decent set-piece delivery into the box now with a free-kick down the left-hand side. Silva stands over the ball before whipping a teasing cross to the back post, but Ramos' header is eventually flashed wide as Czech survive.
11'
Necid, who certainly provides an impressive physical presence up top, rises high to nod a header back into the danger area on the edge of the box, looking for Rosicky. Fabregas displays good defensive instincts to match the run from the Czech captain, though, and eventually ushers his former Arsenal team-mate off the ball.
9'
Morata gets his first sniff of goal early doors here as he slips in behind the opposition defence to latch on to a pass from Nolito. The trigger is eventually pulled by the Juventus man and Cech makes the save, but there was an offside flag already raised anyway as the Czechs get the free-kick.
7'
Spain have took a little while to find their feet and implement their short passing game here, but are now starting to flex their muscles in possession to look more dominant. Queue the Czech Republic fans inside the stadium booing every single Spanish touch of the ball, as they await their side to get back into shape.
5'
Decent start to the match from the Czech Republic, who have earned their second set-piece in quick succession with a free-kick around 25 yards out in the left channel. Darida is tasked with it, but the subsequent strike on goal is slammed disappointingly into the sturdy Spanish wall.
3'
Gebre Selassie, who is usually deployed as a full-back, makes the most of his currently more advanced wing position to drive down the channel and eventually earn the first corner-kick of the match. The Czech international may been have positioned there just to track the overlapping runs of Alba, you would think.

We are under way in Toulouse!
Vicente del Bosque and his charges certainly have the most prestigious recent history in the competition. However, Spain come into this year's championships strangely under the radar which is mostly due to their embarrassing group stage exit at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil where they suffered two defeats in their three games, coming against the Netherlands and Chile. Their Euro qualifying campaign was typically emphatic as they won nine out of 10, but there is a sense that they feel they have a point to prove over the next month.
Today's fixture features, for the first time in the tournament this year, the double defending champions in the form of La Roja, who were crowned as winners in each of the last two European Championships in Poland and Ukraine and Austria and Switzerland respectively. Spain have already secured a previously uncompleted feat in winning two Euros in a row, but can they make it three and subsequently become the most successful team in the history of the tournament, making it four in total?
Good afternoon football fans! Welcome to LIVE coverage of the Euro 2016 Group D clash between Spain and the Czech Republic from Stadium Municipal, Toulouse.
Czech Republic, meanwhile, are now veterans of the European Championships and have successfully qualified for every tournament since becoming an independent nation in 1993. They made it to France thanks to a similarly impressive qualifying campaign to that of Spain, as they finished winners of Group A with 22 points taken from 10 matches.
Spain are unbeaten in four games against the Czech Republic, and have not lost a match at the European Championships since June 2004. Indeed, they are currently on the best defensive run in the history of the tournament and have not conceded in a whopping 510 minutes, whilst also securing eight consecutive clean sheets in qualifying.
TEAM NEWS...
Today we see the clean-sheet-kings of Spain come up against the clean-sheet-minnows of the Czechs, who conceded 14 goals in qualifying – the most out of any side who made it to the tournament proper.
The teams are making their way to the pitch and we are almost ready for the respective national anthems!
Half-time in Toulouse. It has been one-sided affair between Spain and the Czech Republic so far in terms of possession and chances created, but vitally for La Roja this has, as of yet, not translated into goals. The score at the break in the Stadium Municipal is 0-0, with Morata looking the most likely source of a goal for Vicente del Bosque's men currently. Second period to come!
Full-time in Toulouse. It took longer than expected, but Spain eventual claim their opening win in Euro 2016 thanks to a narrow 1-0 win against the Czech Republic, with the winning goal coming with just three minutes of normal time remaining on the clock. The hero of the match proved to be Gerard Pique with a neat header, but Vicente del Bosque will certainly be mindful of the fact that his side were slightly toothless in front of goal despite dominating proceedings. La Roja go level on three points with Croatia in Group D. Thanks for joining us - see you for the next fixture!
