THAT WILL DO IT! Kozacik shows excellent command of his area to come well off his line to claim a cross in from Clyne, and his defenders show their appreciation as the referee blows for full-time!
90' +3
WHAT A WASTE! Alli's inexperience comes to the forefront as he squanders a very decisive spell of pressure from England with a dreadful strike miles over the bar! There's simply no excuse for that!
90' +1
There will be five minutes added on at the end of this match. Is there to be a sting in the tale?
90'
Slovakia into time-wasting mode now, but to their credit there hasn't been much of this from them in the second half. Skrtel goes down with what can only be presumed as a cramp, considering all the hard work he's put in tonight. We're into stoppage time now!
89'
Another chance goes begging! An inviting delivery in from the right picks out the head of Kane, but the striker can't rise high enough as he sends a feeble header miles wide of the far post!
88'
SLOVAKIA ESCAPE! It's just not falling properly for England tonight! The bounces have gone against them and the same is the case here, as Kozacik punches a ball off the head of Kane, but the ricochet takes it behind! That could have gone anywhere!
86'
There's a lengthy delay as Mak is down with a hamstring problem. Slovakia are out of substitutions, so if he's unable to carry on they may have to see this out a man short! That's a real boost for England's hopes of finding another late winner!
84'
EVERYTHING BUT THE FINISH! Wonderful close control and skill from Rooney in a tight space in attack, as he's able to carve out room for a shot. He gets everything right but the most important part in the end, as he fires wide of the near post with his weaker left foot!
82'
Slovakia are living dangerously! This is resembling the sort of structure you would find on the training ground, as England remain parked in the final third with Slovakia keeping everyone behind the ball in the hopes of picking up the point they need to just about secure their place in the next round. They're coming under immense pressure though!
80'
STAT: Seven of England's eight goals against Slovakia have been scored after the 60th minute.
Minute
Description
78'
M. Škriniar enters the game and replaces V. Weiss.
A final change of the night, with both sides now using all three of their substitutes, as defender Milan Skriniar replaces winger Vladimir Weiss. They're all in to defend this point now!
76'
H. Kane enters the game and replaces D. Sturridge.
With Dier looking more than capable of finishing this match off, England bring on Harry Kane in their final swap of the night. He replaces Sturridge.
74'
IT ONLY NEEDED A TOUCH! Sturridge gets behind the defence and onto the end of a wonderfully lofted pass over the top. It's begging out to be hit, but he fails to sort out his footing and get the decisive touch as Kozacik is able to collect! Another wasted opportunity!
72'
Dier goes down behind the play and that would be a real worry for England if he can't continue. Harry Kane is up and ready to come on, but Hodgson quickly tells him to bide his time on the touchline, not wanting to make his final change before he can judge the severity of Dier's knock.
71'
Slovakia are playing for the draw as we enter the final 20 minutes, or at least it appears as such. They're playing without a striker, which has left them no target up top to get the ball forward to. It's making it increasingly difficult on them to hold the ball for more than a few seconds at a time.
69'
Slovakia have everyone behind the ball when England get forward, which is making it even harder on Hodgson's side to pick out the required final ball. Dier lashes an effort wide of the far post from 25 yards on their latest foray. England win it back quickly, only to see Rooney's cross dealt with soundly by Hubocan.
67'
N. Gyömbér enters the game and replaces V. Pečovský.
Roma's Norbert Gyomber enters the fray for Slovakia, with Pecovsky giving way.
66'
The longer this deadlock remains intact, the harder Slovakia are looking to break down. They've continued to grow in stature in this second half, with the tempo struggling to find any consistency - just the way they want it to be.
64'
STAT: With the earlier substitution, Wayne Rooney is appearing in his 20th game at a major tournament. Only Ashley Cole and Steven Gerrard have featured more times for England (22 games).
62'
THE SKIPPER TO THE RESCUE! Henderson has offered creativity in bunches tonight and he's the architect of another one of their best moves, placing a splendid ball into the path of Alli at the far post. The substitute lashes it at goal first-time, but Skrtel is perfectly placed to clear it off the line!
60'
D. Alli enters the game and replaces A. Lallana.
Dele Alli replaces Lallana in England's second change of the evening.
59'
England aren't looking altogether convincing as they did in the first half, with Slovakia coming across much more assured in defence. They're having an easy go of it at the back, which has provided them the confidence to start getting forward on a few attacks of their own.
57'
D. Švento enters the game and replaces O. Duda.
Seeing their opponents make an alteration prompts Slovakia to make a change of their own. Dusan Svento is on in place of Duda, who was a spectator throughout.
56'
W. Rooney enters the game and replaces J. Wilshere.
England make the first change of the evening for either side as Wayne Rooney replaces Wilshere.
55'
SLOVAKIA ASKING QUESTIONS! The ball is worked to Weiss on the left on the end of a crafty move. The forward breaks into the area, cuts onto his right and tries to squeeze a shot in at the near post. He doesn't get the desired power behind it, however, as Hart makes a straightforward save.
54'
SMALLING IS A LUCKY BOY! England escape disaster! Complacency in every sense from Smalling who chests a weak back-pass to Hart following a cross from Hubocan. Mak pounces, reading it to perfection, but he can't make clean contact as he fails to test the keeper! What an opportunity missed that was!
52'
R. Bertrand gets yellow.
Bertrand slips as he fails to judge a bouncing ball. Recognising he's been beaten by Pekarik, he drags his counterpart to ground and finds his name in the referee's book at the back.
50'
STAT: Slovakia have never kept a clean sheet in a major tournament (six games).
48'
It has been an uneventful start to proceedings in this second half, with neither side's possession amounting to much. Slovakia would likely be through with a draw, but they can't play for the 0-0. Their inability to create has to be a concern for Kozak at the moment and was surely something he addressed at the interval.
46'
Slovakia get the second half underway!
45' +1
HALF-TIME: SLOVAKIA 0-0 ENGLAND.
45'
There will be just one minute added on at the end of this first half.
44'
FEARLESS DEFENDING! A delfected pass in from the left falls kindly for Henderson who lashes a thunderous effort at goal, but Durica flies through the air with little regard for his well-being and manages to get in front of the strike which was assuredly heading on target!
42'
Nothing comes of it for Slovakia and England are right back on the front foot, parked in the attacking half. They've been moving very well off the ball to open up space up top, with Sturridge and Lallana especially active, but the final ball has just eluded them up to this point.
40'
Following a good defensive recovery by Durica on Sturridge at one end, Slovakia break in numbers as they look to solve this seemingly impenetrable England defence. They've hardly looked like scoring in this first half, but what a boost it would be to their qualifying hopes - and confidence - if they could grab one against the run of play, right before the interval.
38'
STAT: Through 26 games at the 2016 European Championships, there has yet to be a match in which both teams scored in the first half.
36'
Slovakia continue to find themselves hemmed in at the back as England really assert themselves on the front foot. They've been unable to pick out a pass to kick-start a counter, which they're desperately in need of, but an offside call on Sturridge provides them with a bit of a break and the opportunity to get the ball forward.
34'
WONDERFUL SAVE! Clyne the architect again, getting into space on the right, before picking out Lallana with a delightful pull-back. The Liverpool attacker sends a venomous first-time effort at goal, but Kozacik positions himself perfectly to parry!
32'
Slowly but surely England are spending more and more time on the ball, with Slovakia's glimpses in possession becoming increasingly scarce. They're dropping very deep with England on the ball, and it's put some concentrated pressure on their back-line, who are desperate need of a bit of respite.
30'
Hubocan goes to sleep on the left as Clyne is able to run into acres of space behind him. Henderson picks out the full-back's run, but he puts just too much weight behind his throughball as Clyne has to stretch to keep it in play, taking all the quality out of his forcibly rushed cross.
28'
The sting was really taken out of the match by the injuries to Cahill and Pekarik, and it hasn't been able to rediscover its previous tempo quite yet. It's all become a bit cagey out on the pitch, with Slovakia taking a very cautious approach in possession, but some good, direct play from England sees them win a corner.
26'
STAT: England have had 21 more shots than their opponents over their first two games at Euro 2016 but have only scored one more goal.
24'
V. Pečovský gets yellow.
A rather cynical one here from Pecovsky who slides into the back of Vardy with the sole intention of breaking up a counter, and he's booked for his troubles.
23'
A good spell, this, from Slovakia, who have Pekarik back out on the pitch after it looked like he was going to be replaced by Roma's Norbert Gyomber. An inquisitive bit of build-up play sees Slovakia work the ball into the area, but a strong interception from Cahill snuffs out the opportunity.
21'
Injuries have taken over as play comes crashing to a halt. Cahill is down for England and in need of attendance from the medical staff, meanwhile, murderous scenes are taking place near the touchline as Pekarik is gushing blood from his nose after taking the brunt of an elbow from Bertrand. There was no intention in it, but still more than surprising to see it go unpunished!
19'
Wales have taken the lead in the other Group B match currently in progress, which means as things stand, England drop to second in the group with Slovakia in third. A Wales victory would force Hodgson's side to claim all three points in order to top the group.
17'
HE HAS TO BE SCORING THERE! An outstanding delivery from Henderson over the top springs Vardy, who offers up what Kane has failed to in the first two matches. The Leicester striker sprints behind the defence and clean through on goal, but Kozacik stands his ground to make a delightful save with his planted left leg!
15'
Decent delivery! Hamsik is involved for the first time as he shows good pace to get on the end of a pass on the left. He shows a bit of inventiveness to turn into space and send a teasing delivery towards the far post, but none of his team-mates had taken the initiative to attack it.
13'
Slovakia are managing to create precious little with their time in possession. Their approach has all been very timid through the opening stages of this match, both unable and unwilling to send bodies forward in support of their attacking trio. As a result it has made life awfully comfortable on England off the ball.
11'
STAT: England won 4-0 the last time these sides met in a friendly in 2009 at Wembley Stadium, with captain Wayne Rooney scoring a brace - his 20th and 21st for England (Heskey and Lampard also scored one each).
9'
FIRST REAL CHANCE! A cross in from the right is deflected high into the air, and Slovakia fail to deal with the bouncing ball! Vardy flicks it on wonderfully towards the near post, but Pekarik is around with the cover to make an important block on Sturridge's effort from in close.
7'
Slovakia pose their first threat of the evening, but it's nothing to write home about. Weiss does well to keep the ball on the left before a hopeful pull-back is met by Pecovsky, but his first-time strike from range is lifted harmlessly over the bar.
5'
The Three Lions appear rather comfortable in possession while Slovakia are content letting them have it. Clyne makes a tidy run on the overlap, as these England full-backs so often love to do, and picks out Vardy admirably, but the striker lifts a cleverly improvised volley high of the target.
3'
England enjoy the better of play in the first few minutes but it's all been rather sloppy from both sides as the passes have yet to take on the necessary quality. Hodgson's side make a couple of hopeful forays into the final third, but it's nothing to trouble Slovakia as of yet.
1'
AND WE'RE OFF! England, in all red, get us underway attacking right to left, with Slovakia draped in white.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage from the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in Saint-Etienne as England look to secure their spot at the summit of Group B when they take on a Slovakia side hoping to join them in the knockout stage. Stay tuned for all the action!
England are favourably placed ahead of tonight’s contest, courtesy of a late Daniel Sturridge goal which saw them defeat rivals Wales in dramatic fashion on Thursday. Roy Hodgson’s side would ensure their progression as the top side in Group B with a win tonight, but even a draw could prove enough for the Three Lions should Wales fail to beat Russia.
Slovakia’s fate is far less straightforward, but Jan Kozak’s side still control their own destiny. A victory would ensure they move through to the knockout stage as automatic qualifiers, and could see them top Group B if Wales are unable to defeat Russia. A draw would also send Slovakia through to the next round in all likelihood. The point could see them finish in either second or third in the group, depending what happens in the other match.
Should Slovakia lose tonight, they would still be in it with a chance to advance as one of the third-place teams, but they would have to hope Russia fail to beat Wales, while also needing to rely on results elsewhere. A loss for England would still see them through, with second spot not out of the question, either, provided Russia beat or draw with Gareth Bale and company.
Roy Hodgson has rotated his squad for this clash, making six changes to his starting line-up. Daniel Sturridge and Jamie Vardy are rewarded for their goals off the bench against Wales with a spot in the XI, replacing the largely disappointing Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling. Dele Alli and Wayne Rooney are offered a rest, with Jordan Henderson and Jack Wilshere replacing them in midfield, while Eric Dier keeps his place. The centre-half pairing of Chris Smalling and Gary Cahill remains in-tact, but they will be flanked tonight by Nathaniel Clyne and Ryan Bertrand, at the expense of Spurs duo Kyle Walker and Danny Rose.
Jan Kozak names the same starting line-up, opting not to tamper with his side following their victory over Russia. Ondrej Duda leads the line for them, supported by Vladimir Weiss and Robert Mak. Marek Hamsik will assuredly have his say in attack as well, spearheading a midfield trio which also includes Milan's Juraj Kucka and Zilina's Viktor Pecovsky.
There's a wonderful atmosphere in Saint-Etienne ahead of kick-off as the two national anthems are met by waves of support. There's much on the line tonight and the tension inside the ground is palpable! We're set to get underway in just a few moments!
England on top after 45 minutes as far as the run of play is concerned, but they have nothing to show for their efforts as we head into the break scoreless in Saint-Etienne. Vardy and Lallana got on the end of the best chances for Hodgson's side, but a pair of tidy saves from Kozacik has kept England out up to this point. Still everything to play for in the second half!
FULL-TIME: SLOVAKIA 0-0 ENGLAND. Matus Kozacik's heroics force the Three Lions to settle for second place in Group B, while boosting the progression hopes of Jan Kozak's side!
England are left to rue their missed chances as Wales' victory means they are denied a first-place finish in Group B. Slovakia's point assures them third, while it should make the difference in their bid to qualify for the knockout stage. That's all for our live coverage from Saint-Etienne, thanks for following along!
