A. Kramarić enters the game and replaces I. Perišić.
Ivan Perisic comes off to a thunderous applause from these passionate Croatian supporters as Andrej Kramaric replaces him for the final seconds.
90' +2
D. Čop enters the game and replaces M. Pjaca.
Croatia run precious time off the clock as they hand Duje Cop his first cap of the tournament, with Pjaca giving way.
90' +1
There will be three minutes added on at the end of this match.
89'
What a remarkable ending this has been! Croatia are fully deserving of this lead. They've taken control of the match in the second half and have worked very hard for the goal they so desperately craved - and it's paid off - though it has to be said that was some poor goalkeeping from De Gea as well.
88'
I. Perišić gets yellow.
Perisic is booked for taking his shirt off in celebrating the goal.
87'
I. Perišić has scored a goal for Croatia! Assist by N. Kalinić.
Kalinic sprung the break and he's credited with the assist.
IT'S CROATIA'S NIGHT! THEY'VE SNATCHED CONTROL OF GROUP D! Perisic is sprung down the left and shows excellent pace to carry his run on into the area, before firing a finish past De Gea at the near post! He rips his shirt off as Croatia commence their celebrations!
86'
Still time for a winner, but which side will take the initiative? Spain could be spared for not pushing the pace in the final minutes, with the knowledge that a draw would be enough for them to claim top spot in the group. Croatia are in need of the second to move them into first and set-up a much easier route to the semi-finals.
84'
Thiago Alcântara enters the game and replaces Cesc Fàbregas.
Spain make their third and final change as Fabregas is replaced by Bayern midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
82'
M. Kovačić enters the game and replaces M. Rog.
A first change for Croatia as Rog, who has looked very capable in midfield, is replaced by Real Madrid's Mateo Kovacic.
Minute
Description
80'
It's all fizzling out for Spain in the final third, despite keeping more possession than their opponents. Croatia are looking more dangerous on the front foot, but their momentum is halted as Corluka is down and asking for help from the training staff. It looks like a head injury for the centre-half, who left his head gear in the room at the interval.
78'
Croatia deserve an immense amount of credit for the way they've battled this evening. They haven't once cowered in the face of the defending champions, and they're putting up a remarkable fight without their midfield leader in Luka Modric. Should they finish second in the group, it will set up a mouth-watering clash with Italy in the round-of-16.
76'
Croatia on the ascendancy now as they fight for the goal that would take them to the top of the group. They're looking very confident on the front foot, but the attack fizzles out and they're denied a corner as Perisic is deemed to have caught Ramos with a high boot.
74'
STAT: Croatia have had 20 more shots than their opponents over their first two games at Euro 2016 but have only scored one more goal.
72'
Penalty saved by D. Subašić!
Subasic was helped on there as he came off his line early, but perhaps it all evens itself out in the end after the controversial decision in the first place.
RAMOS CAN'T CONVERT! Well, justice is served perhaps, as Ramos steps up and fires a powerful effort straight down the middle, but Subasic gets a strong hand on the effort to keep it out!
70'
Š. Vrsaljko gets yellow.
D. Srna gets yellow.
PENALTY TO SPAIN! It's a controversial decision to say the least! Vrsaljko is knocked by a Spanish player and he barely grazes the back of David Silva from behind, but the Manchester City attacker goes to ground in a heap and the referee points to the spot! Croatia are very unlucky here.
Srna is booked as well for his protests.
68'
FREE HEADER! Ramos is so good at finding space on set-pieces, but he has to start taking these chances! Another clean look at goal is afforded to the centre-half, but this time he fails to even hit the target!
67'
Aduriz enters the game and replaces Álvaro Morata.
Del Bosque makes his second change of the evening as Artiz Aduriz replaces Morata in a like-for-like change up top.
64'
PENALTY APPEALS DENIED! Well he's certainly not lacking in confidence, is he?! Pjaca puts in some remarkable dribbling inside the area as he has the Spanish defence at sixes and sevens. He somehow weaves his way through the tightest of spaces before being hacked to ground. The immediate thought was that it's a penalty, but the referee hasn't given it!
62'
STAT: Croatia's only victory against Spain came in their first ever meeting in 1994 (2-0), since then they have managed just two goals in four games against La Roja (L3, D1).
60'
Bruno enters the game and replaces Nolito.
Spain make their first change, and it shows a great deal of respect to Croatia as Bruno Soriano replaces Nolito. It's a defensive switch from Del Bosque who senses this might just be getting away from his side.
58'
JUST WIDE! Srna somehow whips a stunning cross in at full-stretch, but De Gea manages to get the slightest of touches on it! The ball falls fo Pjaca, with the keeper stranded, but he had to get the over-head kick perfect to find the target there and he just barely fails to do so!
56'
Nolito gives away possession at one end, then tracks back to concede a free-kick at the other. Rakitic's delivery in from the set-piece is an encouraging one, but Pique heads behind for a corner. Croatia are certainly looking the likelier to find a second at the moment.
54'
What's Perisic doing?! Morata sends a strike behind for a goal-kick following an inviting delivery in from Alba, and he protests for a corner. Perisic doesn't appreciate his claims, and grabs him by the chin before giving him a stern talking to. Players have been sent off for that before, so he really should be more careful.
52'
Croatia are certainly causing Spain problems, and you can see how wary the defending champions are of the threat they pose by how deep Busquets is playing. The Barcelona midfielder usually likes to get forward a bit more, but he's not being afforded the opportunity to do so here.
50'
STAT: This is the sixth meeting between Spain and Croatia; Spain have won three of the previous five meetings, while Croatia have won just once (D1).
48'
DECENT SHOUT! Spain carve out the first chance of the second half, through Silva of course. The attacker makes another tidy run atop the area before laying it off for Juanfran, but the right-back lifts an effort over the bar with a clean sight of goal!
46'
Here we go again!
45' +1
HALF-TIME: CROATIA 1-1 SPAIN.
45'
N. Kalinić has scored a goal for Croatia! Assist by I. Perišić.
Perisic picks up the assist for his terrific cross!
CROATIA HAVE THEIR EQUALISER AT LAST! It's been coming for some time now, and they finally break Spain's lengthy run without conceding! Perisic floats a stunning ball in towards the near post where Kalinic comes on to meet it and send a wonderfully improvised finish past De Gea! It's all square in Bordeaux!
43'
CHANCE! Nolito's corner is met by an unmarked Ramos in the centre. It's begging out to be sent towards goal, but the defender inexplicably opts to flick it on to the far post where there's no one on hand to meet it! That was a free header for Ramos and he should have done better with it.
41'
LIFTED OVER! Srna provides a sumptuous ball in from the right-hand side, which arrives at the far post for Perisic. The Wolfsburg forward rises above Juanfran to meet it with a header, but lifts his effort over the bar! Croatia are knocking on the door here...
39'
It's been a back and forth encounter in Bordeaux this evening, with both sides enjoying their prominent spells in possession. Momentum has changed hands a few times, but it's remaining with Croatia here as we approach the final five minutes of the first half - and boy would they love an equaliser to show for their efforts.
37'
Croatia continue to grow in confidence here, winning the ball with regularity in midfield and asserting themselves on the front foot. They've applied some good pressure in the last few minutes and frustration sets in for Morata, who absurdly kicks out at Jedvaj! He gets a talking too, as he should, but no yellow card is shown.
35'
That should have resulted in more! Corluka runs down a free-kick at the far post to win the header and knock it back across the face of goal, but it just fails to come through for Jedvaj! Spain only partially clear, but the follow-up from Badelj is lifted harmlessly over the bar.
33'
Well the 30th minute has come and gone with no incidents to report from the stands. Great work from the security on hand to keep matters in check, as Croatian supporters are unable to go through with their 30th minute protest as planned.
31'
STAT: Spain have now scored in each of their last nine group games at the Euros, last failing to find the net in 2004, in a 1-0 defeat to Portugal.
29'
M. Rog gets yellow.
Rog picks up the first booking of the night and he's lucky it's only yellow, as he arrives late and dangerously into the back of Fabregas, catching him with a nasty challenge into the ankle.
28'
INCHES WIDE! This is unbelievable! Silva is at the heart of everything for Spain, taking matters into his own hands as he keeps Croatia hemmed back in their end. He drives forward and picks out Fabregas, who lays it off for Nolito inside the area, but the striker's effort deflects behind for a corner!
26'
Silva takes the free-kick himself, and he earned it, but the strike from the Manchester City attacker is poor in the end as he drives an effort straight into the wall.
25'
Lovely running again from Silva! The Manchester City attacker is putting together his best showing of the tournament tonight! He takes on defenders on another probing jaunt into the final third before going to ground following a shove from Pjaca, winning a free-kick in a dangerous position about 25 yards from goal.
23'
Not a bad effort! Silva sprints forward and, having acted as provider for the majority of the first 20 minutes, opts to have a go of his own here. He connects well with the effort from 20 yards, but Subasic is up to the task at his near post.
21'
STAT: Croatia had previously reached the knockout stages of the European Championships in 50% of their previous participations (2/4): in 1996 and 2008. They've upped that mark by clinching their place in the last-16 today, regardless of this result.
19'
Ramos and Pique are being worked a great deal with Croatia pushing the tempo. They've adopted a very direct approach in possession, with Kalinic starting brightly as well - using his height to great advantage. Ramos is forced to concede a corner, and although the initial danger is dealt with, pressure remains on here.
17'
It's certainly lived up to the hype, hasn't it? No lack of excitement through the opening quarter of an hour as both teams have an honest go at it. This has developed into a wonderful game of football, and you can only hope the antics from the fans don't spoil the spectacle.
15'
WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE SPAIN DOING?! De Gea with the mistake this time, and it's a horrible one! He hands Croatia possession high up the pitch, and with the keeper stranded off his line, Rakitic chips an effort at goal. It rattles off the underside of the bar, bounces on the line and stays out! Unbelievable! How are Croatia not level?!
13'
RAMOS ALMOST GIFTS CROATIA THE EQUALISER! Dreadful giveaway from the Real Madrid centre-half, and an uncharacteristic one as well. He gifts the ball to Kalinic, who thumps an effort at goal which De Gea manages to parry behind for a corner. Perisic rises to meet the ensuing delivery, but can't trouble the keeper with his effort.
11'
Well the goal has given Spain a clear vote of confidence, after coming across as second-best through the opening five minutes or so. They're rolling at the moment and in this sort of form, you have to wonder who, if anyone, can stop them.
9'
STAT: Spain are unbeaten in 14 games at the Euros (W11 D3), and haven't conceded a goal in 699 minutes of action.
7'
Álvaro Morata has scored a goal for Spain! Assist by Cesc Fàbregas.
Wonderful, diagonal run from Fabregas and unselfish delivery to pick out Morata in the centre.
FIRST CHANCE, FIRST GOAL FOR SPAIN! It's the very essence of Del Bosque's side in the build-up - swift and decisive. Silva plays a splendid ball through for Fabregas, who rolls it across the face of goal for Morata and the striker has his third goal of the tournament with the simplest of finishes!
5'
Spain have yet to get into a rhythm with Croatia eager to press high up the pitch and make life difficult on them. La Furia Roja make their first foray into the final third, but it comes to absolutely nothing as Juanfran lifts a cross right into the arms of Subasic with no one attacking it.
3'
Croatia are one of the few teams capable of limiting Spain in possession, and they've shown signs of that in the early going. Their younger players certainly aren't lacking in confidence, crying out for the ball whenever they can. It will be interesting to see how long they can keep this up.
1'
AND WE'RE OFF! Spain get us underway in their white tops, with red and yellow smatterings, attacking left to right, with Croatia in their blue tops.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage from the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux as Spain and Croatia battle it out for top spot in Group D! Stay tuned for all the action!
Spain are looking to stay perfect through the group stage and keep their clean sheet record intact. After a late Gerard Pique header got them off to a winning start, Del Bosque’s side came out firing on all cylinders as they saw aside Turkey in convincing fashion on Friday, to the tune of a 3-0 scoreline. As a result, they need just a draw to secure their place as winners of Group D tonight.
Vicente del Bosque names an unchanged side yet again, opting to keep his XI intact throughout the group stage. Sergio Ramos is on a yellow card, so he will have to be careful not to get himself suspended, but otherwise Spain are expected to keep their rhythm after impressing in their first two matches as they continue their quest for an unprecedented third consecutive European Championship trophy.
Croatia looked poised to stay perfect themselves on Friday and set up a showdown for first place tonight, but an interruption in the match due to flares thrown onto the pitch by their own supporters resulted in Ante Cacic’s side losing their focus and squandering a 2-0 advantage as they had to settle for a disappointing draw. As a result, they need all three points if they are going to top the group tonight, otherwise they’re likely headed for a second-place finish and a date with Italy in the round-of-16.
Croatia make four changes to their side following the 2-2 draw against the Czech Republic. Luka Modric misses out with a groin problem, and is replaced by Dinamo Zagreb's Marko Rog, not his Real Madrid team-mate Mateo Kovacic. Tin Jedvaj (centre-half) and Marko Pjaca (winger) also provide an injection of youth, with Domagoj Vida and Marcelo Brozovic replaced, while Nikola Kalinic is brought in to lead the line with Mario Mandzukic rested ahead of the knockout stage.
While the match happening on the pitch promises to provide plenty of fireworks, sadly the one off it does as well. Croatia fans, following their insubordinate actions in the Czech Republic match, have planned another protest for tonight's clash.
The president of Croatia's Police Union has warned French authorities about the suspected disturbance, with Dutch referee Bjorn Kuipers also being threatened by the hooligans. The planned attacks are said to be targeted for the 30th minute, so it's something definitely worth keeping an eye on.
Spain's defence has been breached for the first time in 734 minutes as Nikola Kalinic's strike cancels out Alvaro Morata's opener to send these teams into the break on level terms. It's been a marvellous display of football tonight in Bordeaux and it's perfectly poised for the second half, so you're going to want to stick around!
FULL-TIME: CROATIA 2-1 SPAIN. Ivan Perisic's 87th minute strike sees Ante Cacic's side come from behind to snatch first place in Group D, setting up a rematch of the 2012 final between Spain and Italy. Nikola Kalinic pulled Croatia level at the stroke of half-time, cancelling out Alvaro Morata's opener, with Sergio Ramos also missing a penalty in the second half.
That's all for our live coverage from this delectable Group D clash! Thanks for following along, goodbye!
