We're underway at the King Power Stadium.
Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the Champions League clash between Leicester and Porto at the King Power Stadium.
The Foxes embark on a historic evening by playing their first Champions League game on home soil as Claudio Ranieri's men face the tough task of Porto. The club got off to a strong start in the competition beating Club Brugge 3-0 in thei opener. The Italian will want to see a similar performance tonight.
Porto could only draw their opening match against FC Copenhagen as Nuno Santo's men struggled against the Danish outfit. Their league form has been solid as the club are currently third in the Primeira Liga after six matches, recording a 3-1 win over Boavista last Friday.
The team news has been announced and we'll start with the Foxes.
Porto (4-3-3): Casillas; Layun, Felipe, Marcano, Alex Telles; Andre Andre, Danilo, Torres; Silva, Adrian, Otavinho.
Porto subs: Boly, Neves, Depoitre, Sa, Herrera, Corona, Jota.
Leicester have made two changes to their side that was hammered 4-1 by Manchester United at Old Trafford. Kasper Schmeichel returns to the fold after missing the contest, while Danny Simpson makes way at right-back to be replaced by Luis Hernandez.
Porto are unchanged from their 3-1 over Boavista last week. There is no room in the midfield for Ruben Neves as Andre Andre, Danilo Pereira and Oliver Torres start in the middle of the park. Adrian leads a three-pronged attack with Otavinho and Andre Silva in support.
The players are out on the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
HALF-TIME: LEICESTER 1-0 PORTO
Porto have been below-par and have not carried much of a threat to the Foxes' goal bar a couple of brief moments early in the first half. Nuno Espirito Santo will want to see his side improve across the board to get back into the match.
Leicester take a 1-0 lead into the break thanks to Islam Slimani's strike in the 25th minute. The Foxes have been the better side, but at their clinical best in the final third, which Ranieri will want to see an improvement on in the second half.
The players are back out on the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
FULL-TIME: LEICESTER 1-0 PORTO
Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
Leicester make it two wins out of two in the Champions League as Islam Slimani's first-half strike has been enough to hand them the three points this evening. They weren't at their best tonight, but they showed resilience to hold out for the victory to leave them in a strong position in the group.
