Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the World Cup qualifying clash between Northern Ireland and San Marino at Windsor Park.
San Marino have not won one of their 57 qualifiers to date, with their best results being two draws. They've been beaten 55 times, including their Group C opener against Azerbaijan. It would be a huge surprise for Pierangelo Manzaroli's men to emerge with the three points this evening.
Michael O'Neill's men started their qualifying campaign with a battling result against Czech Republic, holding them to a goalless draw away from home. That point could prove to be vital come the end, but Ireland will now have their sights set on a victory against the minnows San Marino this evening.
The team news has been announced and we'll start with the home side.
Northern Ireland have made two changes from their goalless draw against Czech Republic. Josh Magennis and Niall McGinn come into the starting line-up to replace Kyle Lafferty and Paddy McNair.
San Marino have made four changes from their defeat to Azerbaijan. Fabio Vitaoli, Alessandro Della Valle, Mattep Coppini and Matteo Stefanelli all get starts tonight.
STAT ATTACK! San Marino have kept only one clean sheet in their last 71 matches. There will be chances a plenty for O'Neill's men this evening.
The players are out on the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
HALF-TIME: NORTHERN IRELAND 1-0 SAN MARINO
Northern Ireland lead at the break thanks to Steven Davis' 26th-minute penalty. San Marino have held in there, despite the home side's dominance of possession and will be the happier of the two teams at the interval.
Michael O'Neill will want to see more urgency from his team after the break to avoid any chance of an unlikely San Marino upset.
The players are back out for the second half, so we should be underway again shortly.
FULL-TIME: NORTHERN IRELAND 4-0 SAN MARINO
Northern Ireland secure a comfortable win this evening and they could have had more goals had they been more clinical in the final third, while San Marino keeper Aldo Simoncini also put in an impressive display between the sticks.
Michael O'Neill will be satisfied with the performance as a brace from Kyle Lafferty and goals from Steven Davis and Jamie Ward secured the victory. Northern Ireland now have four points from their opening two Group C matches ahead of their clash against world champions Germany next week.
Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
