Mexico gets it cleared and wins a free kick at midfield, and sure enough that's all she wrote.
90' +2
That'll probably be just about the end of this. I think Panama will take the free kick, but it may be the last kick of the game at this point. Order has at least been restored.
90' +1
Now we've got a little fight breaking out. A scuffle really. That's been coming.
89'
NEARLY! Panama with a move down the right flank that nearly works into a goal. A spinning shot as the ball is passed into the middle is saved. Best chance of the night for Panama.
88'
L. Ovalle gets yellow.
Just a few minutes left now, Panama still trying to find a way through.
Yellow card Luis Carlos Ovalle Victoria
87'
O. Peralta gets yellow.
Yellow card Oribe Peralta Morones
85'
Nope! Panama called offside and Mexico still hasn't been overly threatened.
82'
It's been a good test for this Mexico side tonight. I don't feel as though Panama really had enough to be a serious threat, but nothing has been easy. Another foul there, and maybe Panama can work a chance from the set piece, which would seem to be the best chance to score.
80'
Good work from Mexico pressuring high up the pitch and the shot from Robles, from about 30 yards, really flashed just wide of the post.
79'
Mexico seems comfortable enough with the lead.

Description
76'
Panama just can't find enough passes in a row to open Mexico up. Strong showing from the Mexican back line.
75'
L. Robles enters the game and replaces O. Pineda.
Substitution Orbelín Pineda Alvarado Luis Enrique Robles Ramírez
73'
Another shot from range for Mexico. Well high of the mark, but still trying to add to the one-goal lead.
72'
R. Córdoba gets yellow.
Yellow card Ronaldo Nazario Cordoba Welch
70'
This game really hasn't slowed down. Lot of credit to both teams for the pace this is being played at.
67'
Panama has responded pretty well so far. Mexico now dropping just a touch deeper maybe, but still not leaving much space for this Panama team to attack.
62'
Well, there's the breakthrough. Gio down the left played a great ball across and Peralta beat his defender to it to slam it home. Good goal from Mexico.
61'
J. Gallardo gets yellow.
Yellow card Jesús Daniel Gallardo Vasconcelos
60'
J. Gallardo enters the game and replaces É. Gutiérrez.
Substitution Erick Gabriel Gutiérrez Galaviz Jesús Daniel Gallardo Vasconcelos

GOAL!!!! Mexico makes the breakthrough! Oribe Peralta gets on the end of a great ball from Dos Santos and Mexico has the 1-0 lead.
58'
R. Clarke enters the game and replaces Josiel Núñez.
R. Córdoba enters the game and replaces R. Blackburn.
M. Vargas enters the game and replaces Y. Bárcenas.
Substitution Josiel Alberto Nuñez Rivera Ricardo Mauricio Clarke Hamilton
More changes coming on for Panama.
Substitution Rolando Manrique Blackburn Ortega Ronaldo Nazario Cordoba Welch
Substitution Edgar Joel Barcenas Herrera Manuel Alexander Vargas Moreno
56'
A corner for Mexico here, with Gio set to take it. He whips it into a decent spot but Panama is there to get it clear.
55'
Just under 10 minutes gone in the second half and nothing of note really happening. Neither team really doing enough to sustain an attack. Gio has drifted to the get on the ball, and that seems to be paying off some, but the final ball has been lacking.
50'
Another yellow card early in this half, and Panama with a half chance blocked away. This game is begging for one moment of inspiration.
48'
J. Dueñas gets yellow.
Yellow card Jesús Alberto Dueñas Manzo
47'
We're back and rolling for the second half.
We've had a couple of changes at the break. Maybe they'll turn the tide one way or the other. Both sides could use a little extra something.
46'
A. Arroyo enters the game and replaces J. González.
J. Dueñas enters the game and replaces J. Silva.
H. Lozano enters the game and replaces I. Brizuela.
Substitution Jordan Jesús Silva Díaz Jesús Alberto Dueñas Manzo
Substitution José Del Carmen González Joly Abdiel Arroyo Molinar

Everything in midfield has been tough tonight. Panama really making a mess of it in there, giving Mexico very little room to do anything.
43'
The best chance of the game, and Dos Santos can't guide it home. He really took a cross from the left side off his knee and just tried to get it on frame. There's some success being had down that flank at the moment.
42'
Mexico with some good work down the wing but Dos Santos is bumped off any chance at getting on the end of the cross.
40'
Very, very speculative shot from Panama from fully 40 yards. Needless to say it did not open the scoring.
37'
Nothing doing from a set piece for Mexico. Panama has been very good at the back. Well organized, keeping El Tri from finding those little spaces to work in.
33'
Well, you can't argue that this friendly lacks bite. Both teams are clearly going hard. Plenty of tackles flying in, not a ton of quality in the attacking third so far.
32'
A. Cooper gets yellow.
Yellow card Armando Enrique Cooper Whitaker
28'
A really nice sliding tackle at the back kills off maybe Mexico's best attacking move of the half. Dos Santos did well to try and slip in an overlapping midfielder, but the tackle was well timed in the box and Panama cleared the danger.
26'
A hard collision gets another foul called on Mexico. Looked like an elbow was up there from Aldrete. Panama throws the free kick into the box, but Mexico has it dealt with.
24'
More fouling. Marin this time called for it. Panama has come into it some, but you just get the feeling that Mexico has way more quality on the ball, and Panama will have to hit on the counter to make anything of this.
21'
Dos Santos nearly broke through there. Good strong ball out of the midfield is cut out at the last second with the winger running the channel.
20'
Late, late whistle on Mexico. No card coming, but Gutierrez slid in and clipped a player and it was a good three or four second before the call came. Now Panama caught offside and Mexico will get the ball back.
17'
That had the look of a high boot in the box as Panama broke forward. Credit to this Panama side, they hae all the things you'd come to expect from the side. Big, fast, tough to deal with. They're giving Mexico some real problems here.
14'
A nice looking ball over the top there looking for Dos Santos. He can't get it under full control and once again Mexico has to re-set the attack. A lot of the ball for El Tri so far, but no real threat to Panama.
9'
Panama with a little break foward down the left, the cross was lacking in every way, but at least some signs of them trying to get forward. This has the feeling of a very hard-fought but probably fairly sloppy game all the way around. Maybe it will settle down at some point, but it's already getting a little chippy early on.
8'
A. Henríquez gets yellow.
Yellow card Amílcar Henríquez Espinosa
We're getting an early booking here on Panama. Hard foul near midfield, with a Panama player coming in through the back of his Mexican counterpart.
5'
Slow opening. Panama is very compact and has done little to move forward at all, sitting deep and just waiting on Mexico to move forward.
2'
Early run is all Mexico pinging it around the back. El Tri is in a 4-3-3 tonight, Panama in more of a 4-5-1 look.
1'
We're off! Mexico in the green kit with the white shorts and red socks tonight. Panama in all red with white socks.
What we have for you tonight is a matchup of CONCACAF teams with a lot of history and just enough bad blood that could lead to this being a tasty friendly.
Hello and welcome in to Goal USA's LIVE call of Panama vs. Mexico.
Gio dos Santos is the captain for Mexico tonight, with Munoz in goal, Silva, Ayala, Marin and Aldrete making up the back line. We're assuming Molina, Pineda and Gutierrez will make up the midfield, with Peralta and Brizuela making up the rest of a front three. It's a guess, but a decent one for now.
As for Panama, I still haven't seen a lineup. I'll fill you in as we move along. This is an issue we have from time to time in CONCACAF friendlies.
Now we have a Panama lineup. Calderon; Ovalle, Ariano, Escobar, Munillo; Cooper, Gonzalez, Henriquez, Nunez; Barcenas, Blackburn. So for what it's worth, that's the Panama team we'll see tonight. Missing some of the bigger names of recent times.
Alright, we're just a couple of minutes away from kickoff for this one now so get your snacks and drinks ready. We'll have all the action as it happens.
Well, there's the halftime whistle. It's 0-0 still. Not sure exactly what to make of it so far. These two sides clearly don't have a lot of love lost.
If you're Panama at this point, you've got to be pleased with the effort, but maybe not with the quality of play. For Mexico, there are some signs of good things happening, but also a feeling that maybe everything is a half-touch off with this group.
So that's it. Mexico with a 1-0 win in a really tough match tonight against Panama. Stick around, we'll have all the post-match reaction.
