Pinball near the halfway line and Bazoer is booked for a trip on Sene. The yellows are piling up for Ajax and while they aren't going to prove costly tonight, they could factor in down the line.
90'
There will be a minimum of three minutes added on at the end of this match.
88'
Foul! That's a bit of a harsh decision by the referee, and it ends a good looking chance for the visitors, following a delightful give-and-go between Casierra and Sinkgraven. The latter played a delicious dink over the top, while the former was deemed to have pushed aside a defender to get through on goal.
86'
It's really picked up now in the final stages of the match, as both teams appear to be going for it, and why not?! Ajax win themselves a corner, which is only partially dealt with by Celta. Veltman latches onto a loose ball from 20 yards and pounds a shot at goal, but it takes an important deflection behind for yet another corner.
84'
STAT: Ajax have lost just one of their last 15 matches away from home across all competitions, dating back to last season (W12, D2).
82'
Fabián Orellana has scored a goal for Celta Vigo! Assist by F. Roncaglia.
Assist Facundo Sebastián Roncaglia
ORELLANA REPLIES WITH A WORLDIE! He turns around Sinkgraven on the edge of the box, and then belts a stunning effort beyond the reach of Onana at full-stretch and into the top corner! That is sensational!
80'
Planas gets yellow.
A good spell from Ajax results in a yellow card for Planas. The visitors are doing well here to see this one out.
77'
M. Cassierra enters the game and replaces A. Younes.
R. Bazoer enters the game and replaces H. Ziyech.
Mateo Casierra comes on to replace scorer Younes.
The other scorer, Ziyech, is replaced here by Riechedly Bazoer.
76'
D. Wass enters the game and replaces P. Hernández.
Daniel Wass is the third and final player introduced by Celta, replacing Hernandez.
Minute
Description
75'
ALMOST AN INSTANT RESPONSE! Orellana is presented with a free header on the end of a corner. He bounces an effort at goal, but it lifts over the bar in the end! He has to be working the keeper from there!
73'
G. Rossi enters the game and replaces J. Guidetti.
Giuseppe Rossi is on for Celta to try and find an equaliser, with Guidetti replaced.
71'
A. Younes has scored a goal for Ajax! Assist by N. Gudelj.
Gudelj is credited with the assist.
AJAX RESTORE THEIR LEAD! It's a timely goal and what a finish too, from Younes! The forward cuts in from the left onto his preferred right foot and bends a venomous finish in at the far post! That's an absolute golazo!
70'
LOVELY BUILD-UP! Much more like it from Sisto, whose ears must have been burning there. He works a dazzling one-two with Hernandez, but the midfielder's strike is blocked by Veltman in the end.
69'
Celta are completely lacking inspiration and ingenuity in possession. They're being held on the periphery and failing to get into any real dangerous areas. They need Sisto to start getting more involved, having been largely starved of possession on the wing.
67'
We can only hope both teams are gearing up for the final 20 minutes, because it continues to fizzle out at the moment. If they are playing for the draw it's going to feel like an eternity before the final whistle sounds - perhaps some substitutions will help with that.
65'
STAT: Ajax have won nine successive matches across all competitions, their longest streak since a 14-match winning run at the end of the 2011/12 season.
63'
Fabián Orellana enters the game and replaces Álvaro Lemos.
Celta make the first change of the game and it's Chile international Fabian Orellana who replaces Lemos.
61'
This match is clearly there for the taking. Neither side has been able to grab it by the horns and really take charge, however, despite the promise of first place on the line - a position Ajax would hold down with a draw tonight.
59'
Bosz will have to be pondering a change with four players on a yellow, including three members of their back four. There's plenty of options off the bench, with Mitchell Dijks a candidate to replace Sinkgraven, while Riedewald or Bazoer could come on for Gudelj, who has been wasteful tonight.
57'
D. Sinkgraven gets yellow.
Sinkgraven becomes the latest Ajax player to go into the book, this for bit of a cynical challenge on Lemos.
55'
Celta starting to get their footing now after a lethargic start to the second half, but it continues to be a bit underwhelming from them in possession. They're poking and prodding at the Ajax defence, without offering anything of note for them to deal with.
53'
STAT: Celta have won three successive home matches. The last time they won four in a row was back in May 2012 when they were in the Second Division.
51'
Blanco scrambles to clear! Dolberg and Traore link-up smartly, with a nifty flick from the latter nearly springing the former. Gomez is forced to intervene, poking the ball back to goal, but away from Blanco, who has to quickly scurry back and parry behind for a corner.
49'
It is Gudelj who takes, but he wastes the opportunity in the end, lashing a strike straight into the wall. This is the fourth or fifth time tonight he's had a go from distance, and it's always left something to be desired.
48'
Ajax begin the second half on the front foot, working towards a few openings before their perseverance pays off through Viergever, who wins a free-kick 25 yards from goal, in a decent position for a shot. Ziyech and Gudelj will contest over who gets to take.
46'
Ajax get the second half underway!
45'
HALF-TIME: CELTA 1-1 AJAX.
43'
Decent effort! Sene slices a looping effort at goal from just over 20 yards as he finds himself in a nice pocket of space. He doesn't get the required dip on it, however, as it sails over the bar, with Onana appearing to have it covered anyhow.
41'
Younes starting to come to life for Ajax in the final five minutes of this first half. Another strong run from the winger, who drifted into a more central role here, sees him win a free-kick as Fontas blocks his path through. Gudelj goes for goal from the subsequent set-piece, rather ambitiously from about 30 yards out, but he fails to hit the target.
39'
Sisto surges down the left on the end of a cleverly worked move, but his cross is cut out well by Viergever. Back the other way come Ajax on the counter, with Ziyech playing Younes into space with a smart pass, but Hernandez gets back to intervene and snuff out the move.
37'
Berizzo will have to be pleased with how his side have responded to falling behind. They continue to enjoy the bulk of possession here, going in search of the go-ahead goal, though there isn't much of a tempo to the match at the moment.
35'
STAT: Ajax have scored in their last 31 games across all competitions, their longest run in this century.
33'
The momentum has certainly shifted back here in favour of the hosts, who remain on the ascendency. They're enjoying another prominent spell in possession, parking themselves in the attacking half, with Ajax looking rather shaken at the moment.
31'
J. Veltman gets yellow.
Veltman shown a yellow card now for a foul on Sisto - he will have to be careful going forward.
30'
N. Gudelj gets yellow.
Gudelj is the second Ajax player booked.
29'
Andreu Fontàs has scored a goal for Celta Vigo! Assist by Álvaro Lemos.
Lemos picks up the assist for his delivery from the free-kick.
CELTA LEVEL! Parity restored as the skipper Fontas gets on the end of a long free-kick played over the top, looping a rather impressive finish over the keeper and into the far corner! Dreadful marking there from Viergever.
28'
CLOSE! Better, that, from the hosts, who have started to up the urgency a bit. Roncaglia picks up the ball inside the area following a corner and strides toward goal, but his shot nestles into the side-netting from a difficult angle.
26'
Celta certainly have their work cut out for them now. They've posed no attacking threat through these opening 25 minutes, with Ajax able to coolly absorb any Celta possession and see them aside. Another fine challenge from Sanchez, and a well-timed one at that, sees aside the latest move.
24'
STAT: These two sides were drawn in the same group in the 2003/04 Champions League. Celta won 3-2 in Spain, with Ajax and returning the favour with a 1-0 victory in Amsterdam – Zlatan Ibrahimovic scoring the goal.
22'
H. Ziyech has scored a goal for Ajax! Assist by K. Dolberg.
THE LEADERS LEAD IN VIGO! The team atop Group G has drawn first blood at the Baladios! Ajax break quickly following the Celta corner, and Dolberg plays Ziyech through on the left. The midfielder does well to ride out the challenge from Radoja, before calmly rolling a finish in at the far post. Terrific composure from the Morocco international.
Splendid ball through from Dolberg, who continues to prove himself a vital component of this Ajax attack at just 19-years-old.
21'
Sisto, who made a real name for himself in this competition last season, wins Celta a free-kick with a deflected effort that had Onana scrambling for a second. It lifts just over the bar in the end, crashing onto the roof of the net.
19'
Ajax are lacking any real width in their approach play. Klaassen has offered the bulk of their possession out wide, with the likes of Younes and Traore drifting a bit too narrow. It's all become a bit congested as a result, as the visitors struggle to negotiate the opening they crave.
17'
D. Sánchez gets yellow.
Davinson Sanchez, who has been a revelation for the Ajax this season after arriving from Colombia this summer, catches Sergi Gomez with his studs and picks up the game's first yellow card.
16'
Sene floats an inviting delivery into the area from the subsequent free-kick. It's not convincingly dealt with by Ajax, though no one attacks it accordingly for the hosts as it's eventually floated safely into the arms of Onana.
15'
Guidetti, certainly familiar with Ajax having spent plenty of time in the Dutch league in his career, is tripped up by Ziyech following a tidy run, winning his side a free-kick in a decent position about 30 yards from goal.
13'
Celta are looking a bit lethargic when they do get on the ball. They're too negative in their build-up and have to be less content with playing so many square passes. It's been too easy for the Ajax defence thus far.
11'
Clever ball over the top from Ziyech to pick out the run of Klaassen on the right. The midfielder appears to win his side the first corner of the match, but the referee spotted a handball and awards a free-kick the other way. Ajax are starting to settle in possession, however, looking much more confident as they start to impose themselves ever so slightly.
9'
STAT: Ajax are unbeaten in their last five matches in the competition (W3, D2), while losing just once in their last 11 (W5, D5).
7'
Gudelj provides the first shot on target of the match, latching onto a loose ball and firing from 25 yards following a strong overlapping run from Sinkgraven. There's not much behind the effort from the Serbian midfielder, however, as Ruben Blanco - making his debut in European competition - makes a comfortable stop.
5'
Possession is starting to even itself out, but it's all been rather pedestrian in the early stages from both sides. We still await the first attack of note this evening, with the ball being predominantly contained in midfield through the first five minutes.
3'
Decent start from the hosts, enjoying a large portion of possession. Ajax do well to keep them on the periphery, however, and a pair of impressive challenges from Gudelj and Sanchez prove enough to keep the hosts at arm's length.
1'
HERE WE GO! Celta get us underway in their traditional light-blue and white colours, attacking right to left, with Ajax in their black away strip.
Hello and welcome to live coverage from the Baladios as Celta Vigo play host to Ajax with first place in Group G on the line.
Celta have been a hard team to read this season. They beat Barcelona in the middle of a five-match winning run, yet bookended it with lopsided 4-0 and 5-0 defeats to Atletico and Villarreal, the latter of which happened just this past weekend.
Ajax are hitting their stride under Peter Bosz, following an underwhelming start to the season. They have won nine on the trot, including each of their Europa League games to date, and will look to make it 10 tonight heading into a massive game on the weekend.
Speaking of the weekend, this could prove to be a look-ahead spot for these two sides, both of whom face massive domestic ties on Sunday – so it will be curious to see where their focus lies.
Celta take on Deportivo La Coruna in the long-standing Galician Derby, while Ajax travel to Rotterdam to face Feyenoord in the latest installment of one of football’s most headed rivalries, De Klassieker.
But as the old saying goes, to the victor goes the spoils. The manager who is bolder in his team selection tonight could very well book his team’s ticket to the knockout stage.
SUBS: Boer, Riedewald, Bazoer, El Ghazi, Westermann, Cassierra, Dijks.
The hosts have made a staggering eight changes to their team following an abysmal showing in a 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Villarreal on Sunday. Ruben Blanco starts in goal, while Carles Planas, Andreu Fontas and Facundo Roncaglia come into defence at the expense of Sergio Alvarez, Hugo Mallo, Gustavo Cabral and Jonny Castro.
Josep Sene and Pablo Hernandez are brought into midfield alongside Nemanja Radoja, while Pione Sisto is joined in attack by Alvaro Lemos and John Guidetti. Daniel Wass, Fabian Orellana, Theo Bongonda and Iago Aspas are the ones to give way.
Peter Bosz makes just one change to his team following their victory over Den Haag on Sunday. Nemanja Gudelj is brought in to replace the injured Lasse Schone, who didn't make the trip to Spain. Young phenom Kasper Dolberg leads the line, flanked by Bertrand Traore and Amin Younes.
Burgeoning stars Riechedly Bazoer, Jairo Riedewald and Anwar El Ghazi, considered three of Holland's best young talents, had fallen out of favour under Peter Bosz and remain amongst the substitutes as the club continues to win games. They will have to make the most of any opportunities they get off the bench.
All square at half-time as Andreu Fontas' equaliser cancels out a tidy opening goal from Hakim Ziyech, leaving the match perfectly poised as we head into the interval here at the Baladios.
Fabian Orellana came off the bench to score the equaliser late on after Amin Younes restored the lead for Peter Bosz's men, as the sides share the spoils in this Group G clash.
That's all for our live coverage from the Baladios, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
The result ensures Ajax remain top of the group through three matches, while these two are set to meet again in a fortnight's time in Amsterdam.
