We're underway at The Hawthorns.
After their blistering start to the campaign Manchester City have struggled over the last month, failing to win their last six matches in all competitions. An unwanted record for Pep Guardiola, who had previously had only gone five games without a win once in his managerial career.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between West Brom and Manchester City at The Hawthorns.
City's struggles began against Celtic in their 3-3 draw in the Champions League. Since then they've been beaten by Tottenham Hotspur, Barcelona and Manchester United, with their bitter rivals knocking them out of the EFL Cup during the week.
However, for all the negativity around City they can still regain their place at the top of the Premier League with a win this afternoon. Arsenal's 4-1 drubbing of Sunderland has temporarily lifted them above Guardiola's men, but City can reach the summit with a two-goal victory at The Hawthorns.
West Brom have been solid this term, but are currently on a four-game winless run in the Premier League. In their last outing at home the Baggies were denied a victory over Tottenham at the death by Dele Alli's late equaliser, while they were beaten 2-1 by Liverpool last week to leave them in 13th place.
The team news has been confirmed and we'll start with the home side.
Tony Pulis' men are a tough nut to crack at home. Only Everton have tasted victory at The Hawthorns this season, and even that was due to a second-half revival from the Toffees. It will be a tough challenge for Guardiola's side this afternoon.
West Brom subs: Robson-Kanu, Morrison, Gardner, Phillips, Myhill, Galloway, Leko.
Manchester City (3-5-1-1): Bravo; Stones, Otamendi, Kolarov; Sterling, Gundogan, Fernandinho, Fernando, Nolito; Silva; Aguero.
Man City subs: Kompany, Cabellero, Navas, De Bruyne, Clichy, Iheanacho, Garcia.
West Brom have made two changes from their defeat to Liverpool last week. Chris Brunt makes his first start since February after overcoming a knee injury to play in the middle of the park, while Jonny Evans also comes back into the team. Claudio Yacob and Matt Phillips make way for the Baggies.
Guardiola has returned the bulk of his starters back into the line-up after resting some of his key players against Manchester United. Sergio Aguero, Ilkay Gundogan, Fernandinho, David Silva, Raheem Sterling, Aleksandar Kolarov, John Stones and Claudio Bravo all come back into the line up.
The players are out on the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
HALF-TIME: WEST BROM 0-2 MANCHESTER CITY
West Brom have barely had a kick in the first half and will have to come out quickly against Pep Guardiola's men in the second half to have any hope of getting back into the contest.
Sergio Aguero's brace has put Manchester City in command at the break against West Brom as the visitors look to be on their way to ending their six-game winless run. The Argentine held his composure with a low effort to hand his team the lead in the 19th minute before firing a stunning strike into the top corner to double their advantage.
The players are back out for the second half, so we should be underway shortly.
FULL-TIME: WEST BROM 0-4 MANCHESTER CITY
Manchester City end their six-game winless run with an emphatic win this afternoon over West Brom. Sergio Aguero and Ilkay Gundogan both notched braces to secure the win and return the club to the top of the Premier League. It was a great performance from Pep Guardiola's men, who will breathe a sigh of relief that their poor run has come to an end.
West Brom were not in the contest in the first half, but improved to put City under pressure in the second period. There were half chances on offer, but they were unable to grasp them, allowing the visitors to cruise to a comfortable win.
Thanks for joining our commentary this afternoon. Until next time, goodbye.
