Good hold-up play and Napoli concede a free-kick deep in their end in an attempt to win it back. Time running out on them now.
90' +2
OFFSIDE! Mesmerising play from Napoli! El Kaddouri slips Callejon through on the right and he pulls it back for Mertens in space in the centre, but the Spaniard was just offside! Big opportunity missed there, but perhaps a bit of encouragement for them.
90'
There will be five minutes added on at the end of this match. Still plenty of time for another goal or two.
88'
One final push for Napoli, that's all they have time for. Zielinski wastes a good position with an ambitious strike from range that sails high and wide. It's going to take nothing short of a remarkable effort to beat Buffon from there.
86'
INCHES AWAY! Ghoulam delivers the free-kick and it's met by El Kaddouri. His header takes a slight deflection off Khedira and crashes onto the roof of the net, drifting no more than an inch over the target!
85'
M. Mandžukić gets yellow.
Mandzukic has had a difficult night and it's not getting any better, as a lazy and late shove on Callejon sees him into the book and awards Napoli a free-kick in a threatening area to the right of goal, about 30 yards out.
84'
STAT: Napoli have lost just one of their last seven matches away from home across all competitions (W4, D2).
82'
O. El Kaddouri enters the game and replaces M. Hamšík.
A final change on the night as Omar El Kaddouri comes on to provide more of an attacking option, with Hamsik the one replaced.
80'
Napoli starting to grow frustrated as Juventus pass it around at the back, playing keep-away. The visitors really are lacking that focal point in attack that they had with Milik, before his injury. It's no coincidence Napoli's dip in form happened right after the injury.
Minute
Description
78'
Juventus have the lead and confidence in spades as a result of it. They enjoy another good spell in attack, pressing high up the pitch before play comes to a halt with Callejon down nursing a knock.
76'
S. Sturaro enters the game and replaces Hernanes.
P. Zieliński enters the game and replaces Allan.
Hernanes is replaced as Stefano Sturaro comes on as Juventus' third and final change.
Piotr Zielinski enters the fray for the hosts, with Allan replaced.
74'
NOT FAR AWAY AT ALL! Buffon at full-stretch to try and cover at the near post, but Mertens' left-footed strike from 20 yards drifts just wide of the mark! Lovely effort there from the Belgian with his weaker foot.
72'
STAT: Juventus have won 21 successive league matches at home, spanning over a calendar year, dating back to a 1-1 draw with Frosinone in September 2015.
70'
G. Higuaín has scored a goal for Juventus!
IT'S HIS MOMENT! No celebration from Higuain who puts Juventus ahead! The striker chips a ball in over the top for Khedira, but the midfielder fails to control. It runs back out of the area and falls kindly for Higuain who smashes a first-time finish into the bottom corner!
68'
C. Marchisio enters the game and replaces M. Pjanić.
Here's the second change from Allegri, a necessary switch at that. Claudio Marchisio enters the fray at the expense of Pjanic.
66'
Sandro has been quieter in this second half, but he puts in some exceptional running here to weave his way through the defence and pick out Pjanic inside the area, but hesitation on the part of the midfielder sees the chance come to nothing! That's a wasted opportunity.
64'
The stoppages have seen the tempo slow a bit. The sting hasn't been taken out of the match, but it's certainly not as fast paced at the moment. Juventus are coming under a bit of pressure as Napoli park themselves inside the attacking half, suggesting it may be time for Allegri to go to his bench once again.
62'
STAT: Gonzalo Higuain, in his first season with Juventus, played 146 competitive matches during his time with Napoli, scoring 91 goals and assisting 26.
61'
Hernanes gets yellow.
E. Giaccherini enters the game and replaces L. Insigne.
A first change of the night for Napoli sees Emanuele Giaccherini replace Insigne.
Hernanes is issued a yellow card.
58'
HAD TO BE BETTER! Napoli break three against two in attack, but Callejon can't pick out the desired final ball as it's behind Hamsik who can't halt his momentum to keep the attack alive. Napoli look threatening every time they get forward.
56'
What a terrific start to this second half! Back and forth these sides go, exchanging attacks, as the tempo picks up a great deal from what we had in the first half. So much more to talk about here as the pace picks up significantly.
54'
José Callejón has scored a goal for Napoli! Assist by L. Insigne.
Insigne provides the assist.
BACK ON LEVEL TERMS! A work of art from Napoli who respond immediately! Insigne floats a ball over the top and it comes through for Callejon who guides a volley in at the far post! Outstanding team goal from the visitors!
52'
STAT: Napoli won both their matches this past week, but had lost three in a row across all competitions previous to that, for the first time since November 2013.
50'
L. Bonucci has scored a goal for Juventus!
JUVENTUS HAVE THEIR BREAKTHROUGH! A real striker's finish from the centre-half Bonnuci who turns and hammers a volley into the ceiling of the net following a horrendously sliced clearance from Ghoulam!
48'
Mertens gets behind the defence for the first time, but the ball just won't sit kindly for him at Buffon is off his line to collect. Juventus mafe some amendments at the break, as they now appear to be playing with a 4-4-2 formation.
46'
Back underway in Turin.
45' +2
HALF-TIME: JUVENTUS 0-0 NAPOLI.
45'
There will be two minutes added on at the end of this first half.
43'
Lichtsteiner has dropped back into defence alongside Barzagli and Bonucci, as Juventus keep their 3-5-2 shape, with Cuadrado filling in along the right. Meanwhile, Hernanes is caught in possession and Pjanic is forced to concede a free-kick to stop the move, this one in a very encouraging position for Napoli.
41'
STAT: Juventus got an 88th minute goal from Simone Zaza to win this fixture last season, while they lost the reverse tie 2-1 in Napoli – Gonzalo Higuain amongst the goals for the Partenopei.
39'
J. Cuadrado enters the game and replaces G. Chiellini.
Juan Cuadrado comes on to replace Chiellini.
38'
This is a tough blow for Juventus, who will be without Chiellini the rest of the way. Nothing in this, but the defender pulls up and grabs his hamstring before immediately signaling over to the touchline for a change. That's a real big loss for them.
36'
A large reason for the success Napoli have had in defence tonight can be attributed to the determined tracking of Insigne and Callejon. The duo have got back with remarkable consistency to negate the width of Juventus going forward, with Lichtsteiner and Sandro particularly quiet.
34'
The positive for Juventus is that they're enjoying the greater share of possession once again, with Napoli's time on the ball mostly limited over the last five minutes or so. It's been a very physical affair, though, which has led to a large number of stoppages, preventing the game from really flowing.
32'
Juventus are really suffering from a surprising lack of inventiveness in possession. Khedira has picked out a few decent passes, but more has to be shown from the likes of Pjanic and Hernanes going forward.
30'
L. Insigne gets yellow.
Insigne catches Lichtsteiner ever so slightly as the full-back tries to cut inside of him, but it's enough to send the Swiss defender to ground and earn the Napoli forward a yellow card.
29'
STAT: Juventus have not conceded more than a single goal in 26 successive home matches in the league. They last conceded two goals at home in a 3-2 victory over Fiorentina in April 2015.
27'
It's starting to come to life in Turin! Callejon with a shot from atop the area which deflects narrowly wide, and back the other way come Juventus, but their attack fizzles out as a result of a foul. It's certainly become more lively here as we approach the half-hour mark.
25'
REMARKABLE CHALLENGE! Higuin appears to be through on goal, following a well-worked move from the hosts, but Chiriches slides in brilliantly from behind to deny the striker a clean look at goal! How important was that?
24'
HAS TO BE BETTER! Insigne gets on the end of a move at the far post, but hesitates and wastes the chance to shoot. Instead he lifts a cross back towards Mertens, but there's too much behind it as it sails behind.
22'
Alex Sandro gets yellow.
A near-identical challenge in almost the exact same position, this one committed by Alex Sandro, and he too goes into the book. This has to be a bit of a worry at least for Allegri.
21'
G. Chiellini gets yellow.
LASHED OVER! Reina doesn't want to take any chances as a cross comes in for Mandzukic at the far post, getting off his line to try and parry, but winds up creating more danger as he knocks it straight at Lichtsteiner. The full-back strikes it first-time, but sends a wild attempt over the bar.
Back come Napoli and Chiellini slides into a reckless challenge from behind and will be shown a yellow card. No doubt about that one, and he will now be walking a tight line going forward.
19'
STAT: Juventus and Napoli have both scored 15 goals from open play, fewer only than Roma in Serie A this season.
17'
Napoli continue to work the ball around cleverly in the attacking half, but they're finding it difficult to negotiate an opening. Juventus, unsurprisingly, are so organised off the ball and they have a great shape about them to combat the width Napoli have tried to adopt going forward.
15'
Sarri will be very happy with how this first quarter of an hour has unfolded. It's been a relatively cagey match, but his Napoli side have arguably been on top, enjoying their fair share of possession while hardly offering Juventus as much of a sniff of goal.
13'
SUPER FINISH! That's a lovely take by Callejon, controlling a dink over the top with his chest before hooking a half-volley beyond Buffon and in at the far post, but the offside flag is raised! It won't count, but that shouldn't take away from the difficulty of that finish from the forward.
11'
Just too far for Mandzukic! Juventus break with pace, following a good spell of possession from Napoli. Higuain rolls one through for Mandzukic to chase, but he gets the weight wrong in the end as it rolls heavy into the arms of Reina.
9'
STAT: Juventus have won five successive Serie A matches over Napoli and are unbeaten in six, dating back to a 3-2 defeat on October 31, 2009 – almost seven years ago to the day.
7'
The match has been nicely stretched early on, both sides getting up and down the pitch to good effect. There's been some questions posed in attack, but we are still awaiting the first real chance of the night as these back lines have done well to settle in straight from the start.
5'
Napoli ask a few questions here, trying to capitalise on some sloppy play from the hosts. Mertens appeals for a corner following a hard-fought duel with Bonucci, but he doesn't get the decision. Juventus give possession straight back, however, as the pressure remains on here.
3'
Juventus enjoy the bulk of possession in the first few minutes, but Napoli's high defensive line works in their favour early on. Positive start from both sides, replicating the energy level of these fans.
1'
AND WE'RE OFF! Juventus get us underway, attacking left to right in their black and white stripes, with Napoli in their light-blue strip.
Hello and welcome to live coverage from the Juventus Stadium for the game of the weekend in Serie A as Juventus play host to Napoli in a battle of first and third.
This is the big one. Four points separate first-place Juventus and third-place Napoli, with today’s match promising to go a long way in shaping the top of the table, with Roma and Milan also lurking.
Juventus saw their lead atop the league shrink as they lost for a second time at San Siro this season, last weekend against Milan, but got back on track midweek with a 4-1 drubbing of Sampdoria.
Napoli had themselves a big week leading up to this match, claiming maximum points from their two fixtures against Crotone and Empoli, restoring confidence in Naples – despite the quality of opposition – following a three-match losing skid.
NAPOLI (4-3-3): Reina; Hysaj, Chiriches, Koulibaly, Ghoulam; Allan, Diawara, Hamsik; Callejon, L. Insigne, Mertens.
SUBS: Rafael, Strinic, Giaccherini, Jorginho, Maggio, Maksimovic, Zielinski, Sepe, Rog, Tonelli, El Kaddouri, R. Insigne.
Massimiliano Allegri makes five changes from the win over Sampdoria midweek after resting a few key members of his side, most notably Gianluigi Buffon and Andrea Barzagli, who replace Neto and Dani Alves. In midfield it's Hernanes is brought in alongside Miralem Pjanic and Sami Khedira, at the expense of Claudio Marchisio.
Allegri also rotates his two wing-backs, as Stephan Lichtsteiner and Alex Sandro come into the XI at the expense of Juan Cuadrado and Patrice Evra, both of whom are available off the bench,
Maurizio Sarri makes three changes of his own, though he continues to roll with a false nine as Dries Mertens is flanked by Lorenzo Insigne and Jose Callejon in attack. Marek Hamsik returns after being rested, while Amadou Diawara is also brought into midfield at the expense of Piotr Zielinski and Jorginho.
The other change sees Elseid Hysaj come in for Christian Maggio. Centre-backs Vlad Chiriches and Kalidou Koulibaly go up agains their former team-mate Gonzalo Higuain, in what will surely be one of the most watchable duels of the night.
There's a terrific atmosphere here in Turin as the players are serenaded by this singing supporters as they make their way out of the tunnel. Black and white everywhere as the flags and scarves fly high in anticipation of this mouth-watering clash.
Plenty of intensity but not much in terms of excitement as we head scoreless into the interval in Turin. Neither keeper has been made to work much, while Juventus have lost Giorgio Chiellini to a hamstring injury.
That's all for our live coverage, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
Gonzalo Higuain's winner sinks his former club, while sending his new team five-points clear atop the table after Jose Callejon cancelled out Leonardo Bonucci's opener.
