Deep into injury time as Zuffi's free-kick is headed away with ease. Walcott isn't quite able to stretch his legs down the left flank as a defender gets back in time to cut off the channel. Seconds left.
89'
It goes from bad to worse for Basel, as Steffen appears to have pulled his hamstring in stride, and with the home side all out of substitutions, that leads to them having to play the remainder of the match with 10 men.
87'
You get a slight sense that the scoring is not quite done, with Arsenal finding space at will in the opposition half. Understandably, they're in no hurry to strike that killer blow for a fifth.
85'
Walcott's shot takes a deflection and goes out for a corner, which comes to nothing. This affords Arsenal a good spell on the ball though, after Basel had it down near their box for a few minutes.
83'
Good defending from Holding, who made up for his mistake in the buildup to the goal, getting forcefully in front of a Basel attacker on two occasions to help his side out at the back.
81'
That goal will not affect things here, but Arsenal would be unhappy that they were unable to complete a clean sheet. Less than 10 minutes to go here and the visitors are set to top Group A.
78'
S. Doumbia has scored a goal for Basel! Assist by M. Janko.
He's had some nice touches on the ball in this game, and facilitated Doumbia well.
BASEL HAVE A CONSOLATION GOAL! That was outstanding from Doumbia, who pounced on Holding's turnover and executed a Mariselle roulette en route to exchanging passes with Janko and finishing.
76'
Again, Arsenal can have a fifth goal if they really want it. Moments earlier, Giroud stride into the box to poke an effort wide, before Walcott skipped past Taulant Xhaka, only to send a weak shot into the arms of the keeper.
74'
T. Walcott enters the game and replaces M. Özil.
L. Zuffi enters the game and replaces G. Serey Dié.
The excellent Ozil is replaced by an eyesore for tiring defenders - Theo Walcott.
Die has been one of the better players of a poor Basel bunch, but his night is at an end as Luca Zuffi comes on in his stead.
72'
More good news for Arsenal as Ludogorets have taken a 2-1 lead against Paris Saint-Germain in France. That means that les Parisiens need to score twice, or Basel four times in about 18 minutes.

Description
70'
Mohamed Elneny enters the game and replaces A. Sánchez.
O. Giroud enters the game and replaces A. Ramsey.
Wenger has been waiting to get Sanchez off since that foul from Balanta, and he has the chance now as Elneny replaces him.
Another Arsenal change as Giroud is on for Ramsey.
68'
ARSENAL SHOULD BE FIVE AHEAD! Sanchez dusts himself off to take the set-piece himself, and from 25 yards, he hits the ball like a corkscrew, with the unpredictable movement fooling the keeper but smacking off the crossbar in the end!
66'
É. Balanta gets yellow.
Sanchez tries to skip past Balanta, and even though the initial challenge was fair, the follow-through clattered into the Chilean. Free-kick, and a yellow card for the defender, and Wenger may now want to protect his forward by taking him off.
64'
Steffen's cross into the area is kept alive by Janko, and Arsenal fail to clear under significant pressure. The ball finds its way to Die, who has a go from the top of the box, but it's saved by the keeper.
62'
PSG have drawn level through Edinson Cavani. Arsenal are still in control, but one more goal for the Ligue 1 side gives them the advantage.
60'
One hour gone here in Switzerland, and Arsenal are sitting pretty as far as Group A is concerned. PSG have half an hour to find two goals against Ludogorets, otherwise the Gunners are through as winners.
59'
D. Callà enters the game and replaces M. Elyounoussi.
Elyounoussi has been summoned to replace Calla.
58'
Arsenal nearly carve their way through again, but Ramsey's cross for Sanchez is narrowly cleared away from danger. The danger s not immediately over for Basel, but Die manages to make the clearance.
56'
This game is now a matter of damage limitation for the visitors, as Arsenal could add another couple of goals before we're all said and done here. Wenger must surely be thinking about making some changes as well.
55'
Doumbia is summoned to replace Delgado.
54'
S. Doumbia enters the game and replaces M. Delgado.
53'
A. Iwobi has scored a goal for Arsenal! Assist by M. Özil.
CLOSE SHAVE! Basel win a corner and play it short, with Delgado swinging in a great ball which is attacked by Janko. Koscielny barely got off the ground, but the striker flicks it wide of the mark.
He seemed to create time on the ball where there was none.
ARSENAL MAKE IT 4-0! That is just sublime. Sanchez lifts one of his typical passes over hte top to find Ozil running to the byline, and the German waits for the perfect moment to square across the face of goal for Iwobi to tap in!
51'
Granit Xhaka turns the ball over in the centre of the park and Steffen gains his balance in time to stride forward and lash one towards goal, but it ends up sailing miles over the crossbar.
49'
That may just be the points already for Arsenal with most of the second half left to play. Half their attention will be on events at Parc des Princes now, with Ludogrets still a goal up against PSG.
47'
Lucas Pérez has scored a goal for Arsenal! Assist by A. Sánchez.
Accidental assist, but they all count!
HAT-TRICK FOR LUCAS PEREZ! It was far too simple for Arsenal. Gibbs is involved in a goal for the third time this game, driving through the centre and lashing a ball that takes a touch off Sanchez and falls for the striker at the back post to finish.
46'
Off we go again.
44'
Uninterrupted period of possession for Arsenal, with Sanchez dropping incredibly deep to get involved in play, sometimes receiving the ball just ahead of the back four. Not long to go in the half now.
42'
Elyounoussi makes a great diagonal run to the near post, but Ospina is out to meet him. He gets the ball to Die just in time, and the keeper is out of position, but Basel take too long to get the cross in and Delgado heads over.
40'
GOOD OPENING! Steffen gets the better of Gabriel out side and drifts infield, taking aim from the edge of the box. Ospina gets his hands on it, and keeps a hold just in time, with Janko lurking!
38'
Balanta is in the right position to snuff out a combination between Ozil and Sanchez. Arsenal are letting Basel have a fair amount of the ball, confident in their ability to close them out.
36'
K. Gibbs gets yellow.
Steffen gets his studs on top of the ball, and in slides Gibbs. The full-back appeared to win a little piece of the ball, but the referee saw that differently and whips out the yellow card.
33'
Janko gets a running start from the edge of the box to attack the delivery from Delgado, but Ospina grazes his knuckles on the ball first to prevent the big striker from heading that one in.
31'
Alex Iwobi concedes a dangerous free-kick near the edge of the area that Delgado must surely be eyeing. He's typically quality from dead-ball situations, and the hosts have players lining up inside the area.
29'
Not a whole lot happening out on the pitch at the moment, which will suit Arsenal just fine. The Gunners are at their best when attacking on the break, and they have the pace in their front four to really punish Basel.
27'
The tempo of the match has slowed down somewhat, although you get the feeling watching this that Arsenal can grab a third goal if they really wanted to. Having said that, Basel also look capable.
25'
Poor decision by the assistant referee to call Sanchez for an offside just as he latched onto Granit Xhaka's throughball and hammered a shot into the body of the keeper. He was well onside.
22'
Basel have been far from terrible in attack, and they've asked some questions of Arsenal at the back. However, they'll have to do a lot more to get a result against a side that looks in a confident mood.
20'
MY WORD, THAT DESERVED A GOAL! Janko lays the ball off for Adama Traore at the top of the box, and the Cote d'Ivoire, full back smashes a terrific low effort that started to swerve a second too late!
18'
Arsenal are already starting to pull away here in Switzerland, and Lucas has certainly justified his inclusion in the starting XI. More good news for the Gunners - Ludogorets are ahead against PSG!
16'
Lucas Pérez has scored a goal for Arsenal!
LUCAS HAS ANOTHER! It was very similar to the opening goal. Mesut Ozil pings a tremendous pass for Gibbs on the overlap, and even though the full-back's shot was saved by Tomas Vaclik, the forward quickly cleans up the rebound.
15'
Sloppy play from Aaron Ramsey gives Die the moment he needs to nip in and pick his pocket. However, Koscielny reads the danger well and comes in to make an important challenge.
14'
Granit Xhaka tries to get Sanchez on his bike down the left side of the box, but it's asking a bit much of the Chilean. Moments later, Steffen angles an effort off the mark, and Ospina watches it go wide.
12'
FLAG RAISED ON THE FAR SIDE! Granit Xhaka gives the ball away cheaply, and the cross from Mohamed Elyounoussi is headed on goal by Delgado, but David Ospina saved it. Janko smashed in the rebound, but the assistant spotted an offside.
10'
Janko gets the ball into the path of Serey Die, who sees a snap-shot thwarted by an important block from Laurent Koscielny. First real sniff of a chance for the home side, who want to recover quickly.
8'
Lucas Pérez has scored a goal for Arsenal! Assist by K. Gibbs.
Good run from the full-back and he was found by Sanchez.
LUCAS PEREZ HAS OPENED THE SCORING! Worked with class by Arsenal. Alexis Sanchez lifts the ball over the top for Keiran Gibbs, who squares to the near post for the Spaniard to finish after a few touches.
5'
Good tempo to this one so far, with Arsenal and Basel both passing the ball well. St. Jakob Park is rather misty this evening, so we'll see if those conditions have any effect on the game.
3'
First glimpse at an opening falls Basel's way as Matias Delgado scampers into the box, but Holding gets across to rob him of the ball, and get it to safety despite Ricardo Steffen coming in to apply pressure.
1'
Off we go!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Champions League match between Basel and Arsenal.
Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain have already wrapped up the top two places in Group A. However, the 2-2 draw at the Emirates has handed the French side the advantage, meaning that the Gunners need to better their result against Ludogorets to clinch top spot.
It's a similar story for Basel, who have only two points along with Ludogorets. They must also better the Bulgarian's result against PSG in order to finish third and enter the Europa League.
Arsenal got a helping hand over the weekend with dropped points by their title rivals, leaving them in second place, three behind Chelsea. It's a lot simpler for Basel, who are running away with the Swiss Super League, with a 12-point lead after 17 games.
Taulant Xhaka starts for the home side, playing against his brother Granit for the third time in 2016. Marc Janko is trusted to lead the line, with Seydou Doumbia listed among the substitutes.
Arsene Wenger hands rare starts to Rob Holding and Lucas Perez in what still looks like a strong side capable of doing what's required tonight. With Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott on the bench, there's plenty of options in reserve.
And that will do it for now from St. Jakob Park, with Arsenal comfortably ahead against Basel thanks to a double from Lucas Perez. Virgil Misidjan has also givel Ludogorets the lead at the break against PSG, which means that for now, first place belongs to the Gunners. Stay tuned for the restart shortly.
And that will do it from St. Jakob Park. Arsenal won the game and the group, thanks to Ludogorets pulling a huge upset in France against PSG. Lucas Perez was the hero tonight with a hat-trick, and the Gunners never needed to get into full stride. Into the hat they go for the round of 16 draw, while Basel are done with Europe as Ludogorets take the Europa League place. That's all from us, thanks for tuning in.
