CLOSE! Rabiot goes close with a header from a corner, he was completly unmarked in the box and should've done better with that chance. PSG are throwing everything at Lille now, trying to score a winning goal.

N. de Préville has scored a goal for Lille!
GOOOAAALLL! LILLE GIFTED A GOAL! Nicolas de Préville has scored an equalising goal for the visitors which was handed on a plate to him. Areola received a back pass from Thiago Silva, but instead of clearing it straight away he tried to be clever and beat the oncoming striker. However his control lets him down and his ball upfield is blocked and falls straight into the path of de Preville who has the simple job of slotting the ball into the back of an empty net.

Cavani has been kept quiet for large spells of the game, but a player of his quality only needs one chance to score and he took his tonight. That takes his goals tally for the season up to 23, the most by any player.

Not long to go now here at the Parc des Princes and PSG look in total control of the game, they finally have their goal and Lille are failing to cause them any defensive headaches of their own at present. Thiago Silva and Kimpembe have barely had anything to do in defence.

PSG are still piling players forward, looking keen to double their lead. The likes of Di Maria trying to create goalscoring opportunities, but like on many occasions tonight, the final ball has been missing.

Thiago Silva has been penalised for a shoulder barge on de Preville. The PSG skipper tried to ease the Lille striker off the ball, whilst Kimpembe came across the danger but he perhaps went in too strong on the Lille man. Free-kick comes to nothing.

CHANCE PSG! Ben Arfa is gifted far too much time and space on the edge of the box and he switches the ball onto his left foot before firing a shot at goal. However it wasn't quite in the corner of the goal and Enyeama does well to get down and make the save.

Only five minutes to go now until the half-time whistle. It has still been one-way traffic, but Lille had the best chance of the game just moments ago.
37'
CHANCE LILLE! Alphonse Areola is forced into making a great save down to his left to deny Beria from a corner. The outswinging corner came in and the Lille skipper was poorly marked and got his head to the ball which was Lille's first attempt on goal, and almost gives them the lead!

Will PSG be able to break the deadlock before the half-time break? It is still one-way traffic here. The home supporters are full of voice here at the Parc des Princes, urging their team forward. Surely it is just a matter of time.
33'
Anwar El Ghazi has barely touched the ball for Lille tonight, as he is completely isolated up front, which is why the visitors are unable to keep possession of the ball when they win it back.

Y. Benzia gets yellow.
The first yellow card of the game goes to Yassine Benzia for dissent.
29'
CHANCE! Ben Arfa produces a brilliant run at goal, easily beating Xeka in the middle of the park and then he fired a right-footed shot at goal. It looked to be heading in but just at the last second it drifted narrowly wide of the goal. Relief for Lille, but PSG are certainly getting closer to scoring!

Lille are dropping into a back five when they are under a lot of pressure here, which is frustrating PSG as they're struggling to break through that strong defensive line.

STAT: PSG took all three points when the two sides met in Lille back in October, with Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani, scoring the only goal of the game.
21'
Still no goals here at the Parc des Princes between PSG and Lille, but so far there has only been one team who look like winning here. PSG have dominated the opening stages of the game.
18'
Plenty of attempts on the Lille goal so far by PSG. Hatem Ben Arfa is the latest player to try his luck. The Frenchman fires a shot narrowly wide of the Lille net after finding far too much time and space in the final third.
17'
GREAT SAVE! Enyeama pulls off a superb save to deny Cavani who had a free header in the box. However the striker is then pulled up for offside and it wouldn't have counted anyway. Still a fabulous stop by the Lille goalkeeper.
16'
CHANCE PSG! Di Maria made the run into the box and then tried to pick out Cavani in the box, however his shot as blocked by Adama Soumaoro which then caused the ball to dip dangerously close to the far post. Corner to PSG comes to nothing.

12'
SAVE! Enyeama is forced into making the first save of the game after a long-range shot by Di Maria. The ball fell to the winger on the edge of the area, who then fired a fierce shot at goal which forced the goalkeeper to making a diving save.
10'
Lille are struggling to get out of their own half at the moment as PSG continue to press. It could be a very long night for Lille if this continues, as it is all PSG!
7'
PSG have a free-kick in a decent position. Ricardo Kishna brought down Di Maria around 35 yards from goal, but in a good position to whip the ball into the box. Di Maria takes... Almost a goal! Serge Aurier was completely unmarked in the box and just gets a toe to the ball but he can't direct it towards goal. A very good opportunity to open the scoring.
5'
Good play by PSG down the right flank, which almost ends up with Cavani getting the chance to shot at goal. However the Uruguayan and Di Maria don't communicate well enough and the ball is easily gathered by Vincent Enyeama in the Lille goal.
3'
Dominant performance so far by PSG, they have controlled possession of the ball and are looking to break Lille down and score an early goal. The reigning league champions certainly have plenty of attacking players that can hurt Lille, the likes of Edison Cavani, Angel di Maria and Julian Draxler.

We're underway!
Good evening and welcome to our LIVE match commentary of the Ligue 1 clash between PSG and Lille at the Parc des Princes.
Champions PSG will be looking to keep up the heat on Ligue 1 leaders Monaco in this midweek clash as they welcome Lille to the Parc des Princes tonight. Unai Emery’s side are in strong form as we enter the most important stage of the season, after a poor run of form at the end of 2016. PSG are now back to winning ways and are looking to retain their title.
The hosts have a very good record at home this season, conceding just four goals at the Parc des Princes. They have conceded the lowest number of goals of any team with just 17 put into the back of their net. Plus they have immense attacking power, with striker Edinson Cavani already bagging 22 goals this season.
PSG are unbeaten since before Christmas when they suffered a shock 2-1 loss away at Guingamp. They recovered from that disappointing result with an impressive 5-0 victory at home to Lorient. However they were recently held to a 1-1 draw with Monaco, when they were 1-0 up before conceding a late equaliser.
However tonights opponents Lille are in the opposite run of form, they have won just one of their previous six matches and they find themselves in 12th spot in Ligue 1. Their misery was compounded on Saturday after suffering a 1-0 defeat at home to struggling Lorient.
TEAM NEWS: Javier Pastore has joined Marco Veratti on the treatment table for PSG. Whilst Lille are missing midfielder Marcos Paulo Mesquita Lopes.
The team news is in, lets have a look at how the two sides will line-up tonight...
PSG (4-2-3-1): Aréola; Aurier, Silva, Kimpembe, Maxwell; Motta, Matuidi; Di Maria, Ben Arfa, Draxler; Cavani

Lille have grown into the game and perhaps had the best opportunity of the game so far, when Beria forced Areola into making an excellent save from close range.
