Leonardo Jardim's men need only a point this evening to secure the title, with his side currently holding a three-point lead over Paris Saint-Germain - who have only one match remaining in their season.
Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the Ligue 1 clash between Monaco and Saint-Etienne at the Stade Louis II.
Jardim's men hammered Lille in their last outing, securing a 4-0 win to put them on the path to glory. Radamel Falcao notched a brace, while an own goal from Junior Alonso and Bernardo Silva wrapped up the three points.
Saint-Etienne will do their utmost to ruin Monaco's evening as they seek to send manager Christophe Galtier off on the highest of notes in his penultimate game as manager.
Galtier's men were battered at home by PSG last time out, suffering a 5-0 defeat. The players will be determined to put in a strong performance this evening to atone for their dismal display.
The team news has been announced and we'll start with the home side.
Monaco subs: Jorge, Carrillo, Bakayoko, De Sanctis, Germain, Toure, Raggi.
Monaco have made one change from their win over Lille at the weekend. Benjamin Mendy comes back into the side to replace Tiemoue Bakayoko, with Fabinho moving into the middle of the park and Djibril Sidibe reverting back to the right side of the back four.
Galtier has made six changes from his side that was beaten with ease by PSG. Pierre-Yves Polomat, Leo Lacroix, Ronael Pierre-Gabriel, Fabian Lemoine, Digbo Maiga and Alexander Soderlund come into the fold.

Saint-Etienne have been much-improved from their defeat at the hands of PSG at the weekend. They've been resolute enough in their defensive display to keep the scoreline within their grasp, but will have to show significant improvement at the other end of the pitch to find an equaliser.
FULL-TIME: MONACO 2-0 SAINT-ETIENNE
Monaco secure the Ligue 1 title for the first time in 17 years thanks to goals from Kylian Mbappe and Valere Germain. Leonardo Jardim's men needed only a point to secure the crown this evening, but they got over the line with a comfortable win.
It's a huge achievement for this young Monaco team to end PSG's dominance at the top of the league. They've been outstanding throughout the campaign and deserve their success.
Jardim has done a fine job to keep his players, especially the younger ones in the outfit focused in their pressurised games towards the end of the term. It will be fascinating to see if the club can keep this core of talent together long term.
Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
