Vital headed clearance from Teikeu to knock a cross behind at the near post, with danger lurking. The ensuing corner is dealt with, and it looks like we are headed for a stalemate in Saint Petersburg.
90' +1
E. Mabouka gets yellow.
Mabouka is the second Cameroon player booked in the match, and the second in four minutes.
90'
There will be three minutes added on at the end of this match.
88'
Cahill has hardly had a touch of the ball since coming on, summarising just how involved in this match Australia have been since pulling level. They've barely strung more than a few passes together in the attacking half as the draw looks the best-case scenario for them at this point.
87'
S. Siani gets yellow.
Siani becomes the first Cameroon player booked on the afternoon as he lazily trips up his opponent near the halfway line.
85'
Better effort! Mabouka makes a strong run down the right to spring himself into space and whip in a cross. This one is a bit behind Aboubakar, but the difficulty of the chance actually brings out the best in the striker, who reaches back and does well to even get a shot off towards goal, though it bounces wide at the near post.
83'
STAT: Cameroon’s defeat to Chile ended a six-match unbeaten run at the Confederations Cup, excluding extra-time and penalties (W4 D2).
81'
B. Wright gets yellow.
The referee goes to his pocket for the first time tonight as Wright is booked for a hard foul on Bassogog.
79'
J. Irvine enters the game and replaces T. Rogić.
A final Australia change sees Burton's Jackson Irvine enter the fray at the expense of Rogic, who was very much uninspiring this afternoon.

ANOTHER MISS! How many chances does Aboubakar need to score?! It's really not his day in front of goal, as frustration continues to build. He's picked out by another admirable cross in from the right here, but lifts his header over from eight yards!
77'
K. Toko-Ekambi enters the game and replaces B. Moukandjo.
The skipper Moukandjo looks to the touchline in disbelief as his number is called, with Cameroon making their first change. Karl Toko Ekambi is on to replace him here.
76'
Cameroon have half-hearted appeals for a penalty as the ball looked to hit off an arm near the top of the box, albeit barely. The referee is having none of it, and rightfully so. Cameroon are very much grasping at straws here, struggling to find even a hint of an opening in attack.
74'
Since the Milligan leveller, the game has stuttered to a near stand-still. There's been very little attacking presence managed by either side, with the ball being contained largely in a congested midfield. It looks as though these teams are playing for the point, almost.
72'
STAT: Australia have lost four successive Confederations Cup matches.
70'
T. Cahill enters the game and replaces T. Jurić.
Here is Tim Cahill, on to help Australia try and snatch the points, as he replaces Juric for the final 20 minutes.
68'
Cameroon have negotiated the better chances in this second half, despite being very much second best as far as possession is concerned. Australia have their equaliser, but remain very underwhelming on the front foot. Perhaps Tim Cahill will help their cause...
66'
Another big miss! Aboubakar is getting his opportunities here but can't find the finish Cameroon needs! Here he latches onto a tidy ball in from the right, but slices over from six yards! That has to be better.
65'
J. Troisi enters the game and replaces R. Kruse.
Australia's first change of the match sees James Troisi replace Robbie Kruse.
64'
Well it's game on now! A draw keeps both sides hopes of progression alive, but it certainly doesn't do them any favours, either. Three points are likely a must for one of these teams to have a realistic shot of advancing to the semi-finals, so hopefully we see the intensity upped over the final 25 minutes.
62'
STAT: This is Australia’s first match against African opposition since a 1-1 friendly draw with South Africa in May 2014.
60'
Penalty goal scored by M. Milligan for Australia!
AUSTRALIA ON LEVEL TERMS! Gersbach is fouled in the area by Mabouka and, after consulting with video review, the penalty decision stands. Milligan smashes the penalty home, tucking it just inside the post, just out of Ondoa's reach!
58'
SHOULD BE TWO! That absolutely had to be in! Outstanding link-up as Bassogog is sprung behind the full-back on the right and pulls it back admirably for Aboubakar. The striker has the goal at his mercy, but whiffs at the chance, somehow sending his first-time strike wide of the far post! The whole stadium expected the back of the net to bulge there!
56'
Leckie finds space out wide as the Socceroos manage to make a bit of noise on the front foot, and provides a tidy ball in for Rogic, but there's too much pace behind it as the Celtic man fails to produce the required first touch and the ball runs away from harm.
54'
Possession remains firmly in the hands of Australia, but it's all very contemplative at best. They're getting into some more advanced areas now, but still have struggled to ask much of this Cameroon defence. They could perhaps use an injection of fresh blood off the bench to help provide a spark.
52'
STAT: All nine of Cameroon’s all-time Confederations Cup matches have ended with one side keeping a clean sheet. None of their previous games in the competition have seen both sides score a goal.
50'
Cameroon look a different team after scoring late in that first half. There's no urgency to their play at the moment, as they sit back in defence and aim to keep Australia on the periphery. If they start dropping deep and inviting pressure, it will gift Australia a route back into this game.
48'
Plenty of possession for Australia in the early moments of this second half, but very little quality to speak of. With their tournament lives at stake, you would expect to see more of a fight from the Socceroos in this second half - but they lack the ideas to make that a reality right now.
46'
Back underway in Saint Petersburg!
45' +1
F. Anguissa has scored a goal for Cameroon! Assist by M. Ngadeu.
DREAM END TO THE FIRST HALF! Cameroon snatch the lead at the stroke of half-time, as Zambo Anguissa beats Degenek onto the end of a throughball and produces a wonderfully delicate first-time chip, sending it over the reach of Ryan and in at the far post!
Ngadeu-Ngadjui provides the assist.
HALF-TIME: CAMEROON 1-0 AUSTRALIA.
45'
There will be one minute added on at the end of the first half.
43'
Bit of controversy! Outstanding running from Bassogog who shows outstanding speed as he sprints forward on the break. Degenek is completely beaten for pace and throws his body in front to block the winger's path. Bassogog is able to get beyond the cynical challenge, but Degenek did enough to slow him and allow support to arrive. He's lucky not to be booked for that.
41'
STAT: Australia are winless in their last four matches against African opposition, dating back to a 1-0 friendly win over Nigeria in 2007 (D3 L1).
39'
A pair of corners here for Cameroon, following a terrific challenge from Degenek to sniff out an attack. The African outfit boast a real threat in the air, but Australia are diligent and focused as they relieve the pressure and snuff out the chance here.
37'
Better! Much better, in fact, given the standard that's been set in this first half. Moukandjo and Aboubakar combine for a clever piece of link-up play, and it results in a shooting chance for the skipper, but he drives his effort straight at Ryan from 20 yards.
35'
While defeat would spell the end of the tournament for either of these sides, a draw would do little to help their cause. So while it is understandable to see a bit of caution, you really would expect one of these nations to snatch the initiative sooner rather than later. It's certainly there for the taking.
33'
Australia are getting back into the ascendency now, enjoying the lion's share of possession over the last five minutes. It's all been rather pedestrian from them on the front foot, however, as Cameroon's sluggish approach seems to be contagious.
31'
STAT: Australia’s last four matches in the competition have seen a total of 20 goals scored, averaging five per match.
29'
There's an inordinate amount of vacant seats around this lovely venue in Saint Petersburg, with a smattering of Cameroon and Australia supporters scattered about. Those who made the trip are doing their part to create a decent atmosphere, but as the tempo has faded over the last 10 minutes, so to has the noise level.
27'
Cameroon's calculated approach seems to be working for them, but they need a bit more pace in attack. With so much at stake in this match - the loser eliminated from the competition - perhaps it's not all that surprising that these sides are cautious in committing too many bodies forward.
25'
A couple of important defensive interventions from Degenek and Ryan help deal with a pair of threatening crosses played in by Cameroon's wide men. Momentum is very much on the side of the AFCON champions, as they continue to apply the pressure.
23'
The tempo has slowed again, played now at a more comfortable pace for Cameroon. The Indomitable Lions pride themselves on their defensive abilities, and are not eager to start going punch-for-punch with this Australian attack. Instead they have slowed the tempo, adopting a more patient approach.
21'
STAT: This is the first meeting in history between Cameroon and Australia.
19'
Cameroon are afforded another opportunity to threaten from a dead-ball situation, this one a bit closer than the last. Instead of trying to work the keeper, Bassogog floats a chip over the top towards the far post, and it's a decent delivery, but you have to wonder if communication was lacking as none of his team-mates made a real attempt for it.
17'
Gersbach is doing his part to justify his inclusion in the starting line-up today. The full-back has covered a ton of ground already, getting up and down the pitch to great effect. He plays another inviting cross in here, placing it on the head of Kruse at the far post, but the midfielder can't trouble Ondoa from a tight angle.
15'
Wasted opportunity for Cameroon from the free-kick. After plenty of build-up it's Siani who takes, lashing a feeble effort harmlessly into the wall, before the follow-up from Aboubakar is lifted miles over the bar.
13'
Aboubakar in working hard up top, proving a real nuisance for this Australian defence. The African outfit are keen to play balls in for him to capitalise on his impressive hold-up play, which works in their favour here as they win a free-kick in a decent area following a foul from Sainsbury.
11'
Cameroon are very much in the ascendency, knocking the ball about confidently all over the pitch. There's an excellent width to their approach, with Bassogog especially keen to get involved on the right. He certainly never shies away from taking on a defender.
9'
STAT: Just two goals have been scored in the first half of Cameroon’s nine all-time matches in the competition, compared to 10 after the interval.
7'
DECENT EFFORT! Cameroon apply some decent pressure following a free-kick, and Aboubakar is teed up by Moukandjo's clever touch in the area. The Besiktas striker hits it first-time, but lashes his effort just wide of the near post as Ryan is again untroubled.
5'
Wonderfully open in these early stages. Australia are pushing the pace, eager for a better start than they enjoyed against Germany, while Cameroon have twice now shown an encouraging ability to hit swiftly on the counter, though their latest attack sees Bassagog send a strike harmlessly into the side netting.
3'
Early warning signs from Australia as they work the ball around impressively in the final third. Mooy picks out Rogic, who then works a terrific one-two with Gersbach, but the Celtic attacker is unable to take the return pass in stride as the chance goes begging. Moments later and Ondoa is forced into making his first save, though it's a simple one from Kruse's effort.
1'
AND THEY'RE OFF! Australia in yellow as they get us underway, attacking right to left, with Cameroon in green.
Hello and welcome to the Krestovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg as Cameroon and Australia battle to keep their Confederations Cup hopes alive!
It’s do or die time in Russia. Lose and go home. One or both of these sides will be watching the knockout stages from their living rooms, and that fate can be decided in the next 90 minutes. Ideal it is not, but it should make for some entertaining viewing from a neutral perspective.
A pair of late Chile goals dealt Cameroon a crushing blow in their Group B opener, while Australia fell just short in Sochi, edged out 3-2 by Germany. Successive defeats for either side would equate to a spot at the bottom of Group B and an early flight home from Russia.
Cameroon’s fighting spirit was masked by early tournament jitters in their opening defeat, but they should be much more prepared this time around against a Socceroos side that presents their best chance at a win in Group B.
Australia will approach this match with the same mindset as Cameroon, knowing this is the match they absolutely must win if they are to progress to the semi-final, and they should have plenty of confidence after giving Germany a real run for their money on Tuesday.
Hugo Broos names an unchanged side to the one which opened the tournament against Chile. Vincent Aboubakar leads the line, flanked by skipper Benjamin Moukandjo AFCON 2017 player of the tournament Christian Bassogog.
Ange Postecoglu makes two changes to his side from the defeat to Germany. The vastly experienced Robbie Kruse replaces Massimo Luongo in midfield, while Rosenborg full-back Alex Gersbach comes in for Aziz Behich, who struggled mightily against the Germans.
Cautious and lacking in attacking quality would be the best way to describe those opening 45 minutes, as we appeared to be heading into the interval scoreless before Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa's sumptuous finish put Cameroon ahead with the final kick of the half. Australia have their backs against the wall now, with 45 minutes left to try and salvage their tournament chances.
That's all for our live coverage, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
Mark Milligan's second-half penalty canceled out Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa's opener with the last kick of the first half, as Cameroon and Australia settle for an unsatisfying point in Saint Petersburg, leaving their hopes of progressing hanging by a thread.
