89'
No, they can't. Douglas Costa manages to fire his strike through the wall in front of him and towards the bottom left-hand corner of the net, but it doesn't have enough curl behind it to result in a second Juventus goal.

Description
88'
Khedira reaches a loose ball just outside of the Roma penalty area and is quickly clattered into, resulting in a free-kick for Juventus in a very dangerous position. Can they make it count?
86'
Huge opportunity for Bernardeschi! A thumping clearance from Pinsoglio flies deep into the Roma half of the pitch and picks out Douglas Costa. The Brazilian controls the ball brilliantly and spins quickly before teeing up Bernardeschi, who then darts into the box and thumphs a low strike into the side-netting.
84'
Under and Iturbe link up well on the edge of the Juventus penalty area before the latter spins and gets a shot away, but it isn't hit with enough power and bounces straight into the hands of Pinsoglio.
83'
Leandro Castán enters the game and replaces A. Kolarov.
82'
J. Iturbe enters the game and replaces E. Džeko.
M. Tumminello enters the game and replaces D. Perotti.
Roma have made three further changes as we near the end of the game. The first player to make way is Dzeko, who's replaced by Juan Iturbe.
The second is Perotti, with Marco Tumminello coming on to replace him.
And the third is Kolarov, who has his place taken by Leandro Castan.
81'
Sturaro dives into Gerson from behind and catches the Brazilian with a clumsy challenge, resulting in a free-kick for Roma in a really dangerous position just outside of the penalty area. Kolarov steps up and unleashes a curling strike, but Pinsoglio is just about able to deal with the shot, despite fumbling the ball slightly.
79'
Juventus push deep into the Roma half of the pitch on another determined attacking move, but this time it's brought to a disappointing end by Sturaro, who unleashes a thumping strike from 30 yards out that fails to trouble Alisson.
77'
That goal seems to have woken up Juventus, who are now piling bodies forward in search of a second goal. A deep, looping cross is eventually fired over to the far post and towards Douglas Costa, but Under is there to clear the danger with a good interception.
75'
M. Kean enters the game and replaces G. Higuaín.
Juventus have made another alteration, with Higuain making way for Moise Kean.
74'
E. Džeko has scored a goal for Roma! Assist by A. Kolarov.
That was a really well-placed cross by Kolarov, who has arguably been one of Roma's better players today. He's enjoyed a few good moments when breaking down the left wing.
GOAL! Roma have equalised! Completely out of the blue, Kolarov cuts into the left-hand side of the Juventus box before fizzing a great pass across the face of goal. It flies past two defenders and finds Dzeko, who is easily able to tap the ball into the back of the net from a few yards out.
73'
Roma patiently work the ball around deep inside the Juventus half of the pitch as they desperately try to carve out a chance on goal. They're unable to do so, however, as the Serie A champions have plenty of bodies back to easily deal with the danger once again.
71'
Kolarov steps up and shoots from the set-piece, but his strike is poorly hit and flies straight into the wall of black and white shirts camped on the edge of the box.
70'
G. Chiellini gets yellow.
Under picks up the ball just outside of the Juventus penalty area and is quickly clattered into by Chiellini, who gives away a free-kick in a promising position before receiving a yellow card.
68'
The substitutions made by both sides seem to have killed the flow of the game somewhat, but Juventus are still managing to comfortably hold on to possession. They're doing well to control the game, which has resulted in Roma becoming increasingly frustrated.
66'
S. Sturaro enters the game and replaces M. Pjanić.
C. Pinsoglio enters the game and replaces G. Buffon.
K. Asamoah enters the game and replaces Alex Sandro.
F. Bernardeschi enters the game and replaces M. Mandžukić.
R. Bentancur enters the game and replaces P. Dybala.
The second is Kwadwo Asamoah, who takes the place of Alex Sandro.
With little under 25 minutes left to play, Juventus have made five more substitutions. The first player to come on is Carlo Pinsoglio, who replaces Buffon.
The fourth is Rodrigo Bentancur, who takes Dybala's place in the front line.
And the fifth is new signing Federico Bernardeschi, who replaces Mandzukic.
The third is Stefano Sturaro, with Pjanic making way.
64'
L. Pellegrini enters the game and replaces G. Defrel.
A poor attempted clearance by Alisson flies out of play for a throw-in over on the left wing. It's taken quickly and sent short, but Juventus are quickly closed down and have to work the ball all the way back into their own half of the pitch.
63'
Gerson enters the game and replaces R. Nainggolan.
C. Ünder enters the game and replaces K. Strootman.
The second results in Nainggolan making way for Gerson.
Roma have made three further substitutions. The first change sees Cengiz Under coming on to replace Strootman.
And the third sees Lorenzo Pellegrini come on to replace Gregoire Defrel.
62'
E. Džeko gets yellow.
After a slight fracas between the two sets of players eventually comes to an end, the referee shows Dzeko a yellow card for a flailing arm.
61'
It's all kicking off! There's a slight coming together between Chiellini and Dzeko as the two battle for the ball, leaving the Italian in a heap on the floor as he clutches at his face. The striker doesn't react at all well to the defender's antics, and he reacts angrily by pushing him once the referee brings a halt to the game.
60'
Space opens up for Douglas Costa over on the left flank after another attempted Roma attacking move fails to result in a chance on goal, but a heavy first touch lets him down and knocks the ball out for a throw-in.
58'
Excellent opportunity for Higuain! Douglas Costa cuts inside from the right wing on a great run as he skips into the box and shoots. His low effort is saved by Alisson, who can only push the ball out to Higuain, but the Brazilian is on hand once again to tip the follow-up round the near post and behind for a corner.
56'
Fazio plays out from the back and manages to pick out Perotti over on the left wing. The Argentine then tries to quickly move the ball on to Dzeko with a first-time pass, but it's poorly hit and fails to reach the striker.
54'
Roma have certainly started the second half much better than they finished the first. Nainggolan manages to pick out Dzeko with a well-placed cross and sets up the Bosnian to shoot, which he does with a thumping volley that Buffon saves at the near post.
53'
An attempted Roma attacking move comes to a disappointing end, allowing Juventus to counter quickly. Dybala sprints through the middle of the pitch before teeing up Mandzukic, who then fires a dangerous cross into the heart of the penalty area. There's nobody there to meet it, though, and the Giallorossi are able to hold on.
51'
Strootman hits the crossbar! The Dutchman gets himself into a great position 25 yards away from goal and quickly unleashes a rocket of a strike. It flies past Buffon and towards the roof of the net, but it ends up smashing the woodwork instead.
50'
Dybala scores, but it's quickly ruled out! Douglas Costa cuts inside from the right flank and picks out Higuain, who then flicks a clever pass over to Dybala. He darts into the box and quickly lifts a shot over Alisson, but as soon as he's about to start celebrating, the linesman's flag is raised.
48'
Mandzukic picks up the ball deep down the left flank and quickly whips a deep cross into the Roma penalty area. It finds Douglas Costa in a pocket of space, but his attempted header isn't a good one and bounces well wide of the goal.
46'
A. Barzagli enters the game and replaces M. Benatia.
S. Khedira enters the game and replaces C. Marchisio.
S. Lichtsteiner enters the game and replaces M. De Sciglio.

H. Moreno enters the game and replaces Juan Jesus.

We're underway once again!
Juventus have decided to make five substitutions during the half-time break. The first player to come on is Giorgio Chiellini, who replaces Daniele Rugani.
The second is Sami Khedira, who takes the place of Claudio Marchisio.
And the fifth is Douglas Costa, who replaces Cuadrado.
The third is Andrea Barzagli, with Benatia making way.
The fourth is Stephan Lichtsteiner, who takes De Sciglio's place.
Meanwhile, Roma have made two alterations. The first player to make way is Daniele De Rossi, who comes off for Maxime Gonalons.
And the second is Juan Jesus, with Hector Moreno coming on.
45'
Perotti gets himself into a good position out wide once again before curling another cross into the Juventus box. The pass is better than his last one, but it still fails to pick out Dzeko and finally gives Gianluigi Buffon something to do as he jumps high to collect the ball.
43'
Dybala is caught from behind by Fazio, resulting in a free-kick for Juventus that they decide to send short over to the left wing. Alex Sandro then manages to pick out Mandzukic with a clever pass towards the edge of the box, where the Croatian tries to beat Bruno Peres but is dispossessed by the Brazilian.
41'
Perotti cuts inside from the left flank and manages to carve out a pocket of space for himself in the middle of the pitch. He then chips a pass into the penalty area and towards Dzeko, but it's completely overhit and sails out for a goal-kick. He really should have done better there.
40'
D. Perotti gets yellow.
Perotti receives the ball inside the Juventus box and quickly goes down under a tackle from Benatia. No contact was made, however, and the referee immediately tells the Argentine to get to his feet before showing him a yellow card.
38'
Once again, Roma string together a good series of passes deep inside the Juventus half of the pitch before Perotti tries to set up Dzeko to shoot, but the Bosnian is quickly closed down by a group of defenders and can't get a shot away, bringing an end to another attempted Giallorossi attack.
36'
Yet again, the Roma back line are almost caught out by a thumping long pass forward. However, luckily for the Giallorossi, Mandzukic is flagged offside and soon as he reaches the ball.
35'
Another lofted pass is quickly fired deep into the Roma half of the pitch and towards Cuadrado. The Colombian charges past Juan Jesus as he makes it into the box, but the centre-back is able to recover and dispossess the winger before he can shoot.
33'
After a lengthy period on the back foot, Roma are able to push forward on another determined attacking move. They can't find a way into the penalty area, though, as their opponents have plenty of black and white shirts back to deal with the threat.
31'
Almost a chance for Higuain to make it 2-0! Another long ball forward causes problems for the slightly static Roma defence, allowing Higuain to dart through. He then tries to control the ball under pressure from Alisson, but before he can shoot, the linesman's flag is raised for offside.
29'
M. Mandžukić has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by Alex Sandro.
GOAL! Juventus have taken the lead! Alex Sandro fires a great pass down the left wing and into the path of Mandzukic, who easily manages to round Alisson before side-footing a clever strike into the back of the net from the left-hand side of the box.
That was a great pass from Alex Sandro, who has looked really bright over on the left wing. He's caused plenty of problems with his pace, and his vision has been just as impressive.
27'
More lovely play by Juventus! Once again, the Serie A champions cause all sorts of problems for the Roma back line. This time it's Dybala and Higuain who link up nicely before the latter spins and shoots, but his low effort is well saved by Alisson.
26'
Pjanic goes close! It's all Juventus as they keep putting Roma under plenty of pressure. They move the ball around with purpose before Pjanic is set up by Dybala, and he then fires a thumping strike just wide of the far post from 20 yards out.
24'
Wonderful cross by Cuadrado! The Colombian twists and turns over on the right wing before finally managing to fire a cross into the Roma box. It evades three defenders before reaching Mandzukic, who sticks out a leg at the far post and sends a hopeful strike a few yards wide of the goal.
22'
A deflected Alex Sandro cross flies off the leg of Bruno Peres and behind for a corner. The set-piece is swung into the heart of the penalty area and finds Medhi Benatia, who meets the ball well but can't keep his headed effort down low enough.
20'
Cuadrado and Pjanic link up really well deep down the right flank, setting up the Bosnian to curl a delightful cross into the middle of the box. It sails towards to Higuain, but Federico Fazio dives in front of the striker to beat him to the ball.
18'
Kolarov picks out Perotti with a clever pass that takes two Juventus players out of the game. The Argentine spots a run forward from Dzeko and tries to move the ball over to him, but he's closed down before he can and the Serie A champions just about manage to hold on.
16'
Cuadrado cuts inside from the right flank on a great run as he tries to carve out a chance for Juventus. He does well to pick out Higuain, who then tries to find the Colombian once again, but Juan Jesus is there to stick out a foot at the vital moment.
14'
Chance for Dzeko! A lofted pass is fired into the heart of the Juventus box, where it finds Perotti. The Argentine brings the ball down with his chest, spins and then sets up Dzeko, who quickly shoots but has to settle for a corner after his low strike is deflected behind for a corner.
13'
More good play by De Sciglio almost results in a chance on goal for Juventus. He works the ball over to the edge of the penalty area, where it finds Dybala, and the Argentine then tries to tee up Gonzalo Higuain. The striker charges towards the pass and takes on Alisson, but the Brazilian rushes out to deal with the danger.
12'
Space opens up for Mattia De Sciglio, allowing the new Juventus signing to charge down the right wing before teeing up Juan Cuadrado. The Colombian then quickly picks out Mandzukic with a deep cross, but, like Dzeko a few moments ago, he can't get a decent boot on the ball, despite his best efforts.
10'
Kolarov, who has started the game brightly, charges forward on another marauding run before winning a second free-kick for Roma. Once again, it's the Serbian who curls a great cross into the box, where it isn't dealt with well enough by Juventus, and Radja Nainggolan is eventually able to get a shot away from 25 yards out that sails a few yards over the top of the crossbar.
8'
Great chance for Edin Dzeko! A cross from Diego Perotti fails to find Dzeko, but the ball rolls out to Strootman on the right wing. The Dutchman takes a quick touch and then swings a beautiful cross back towards the Bosnian, who sticks out a foot but can't make decent contact with the ball at the far post.
7'
Paulo Dybala darts through the middle of the pitch on a lovely run as he weaves past several Roma players. He gets himself into a good position 25 yards away from goal and then shoots, but his low effort is sent straight at Alisson and is well saved.
6'
Miralem Pjanic sticks out a foot and catches Aleksandar Kolarov, resulting in a free-kick for Roma in a dangerous position. It's swung in by the former Manchester City man and almost picks out a Roma player in front of goal, but Mario Mandzukic is there to get a head on the ball.
5'
More good play by Juventus sees Alex Sandro get set up once again, and this time he's able to get a cross away. It fails to find a team-mate, however, as it's fired too near to Alisson.
3'
After an even start to the game from both sides, Alex Sandro darts down the left wing and does well to latch on to a cross-field pass. He meets it well and gets the better of Bruno Peres before taking on Kevin Strootman, but the Dutchman comes out on top with a well-timed tackle.

We're off! Roma get us underway, attacking from right to left.
Good evening and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s International Champions Cup game between Roma and Juventus at the Gillette Stadium.
With just three weeks to go until the start of the another Serie A campaign, tonight’s clash brings together last season’s top two sides. A sixth consecutive league title went Juventus’ way thanks to another excellent year for the Old Lady, but Roma impressed throughout and will be looking to lay down an early marker in their toughest pre-season game yet.
Luciano Spalletti’s space at Roma has been filled by Eusebio Di Francesco, and the former Sassuolo boss has enjoyed a good start to his time at the club. Only Paris Saint-Germain have narrowly managed to get the better of the Giallorossi this summer, with Tottenham Hotspur the latest side to lose against the club from the Italian capital.
Juventus started their pre-season preparations with a 2-1 defeat against Barcelona, but they went on to beat PSG on Thursday thanks to a last-minute penalty converted by Claudio Marchisio. This evening’s clash is their last in the United States before they jet over to England, where a friendly against Tottenham will present Massimiliano Allegri with one last opportunity to test his squad before the big Supercoppa clash against Lazio in two weeks’ time.
Six new players have joined the Juventus ranks so far this summer, with the most notable - and controversial - acquisition being Federico Bernardeschi. The 23-year-old former Fiorentina winger could feature tonight after being named on the substitutes’ bench, whilst fellow new signing Mattia De Sciglio is set to make his first start for the reigning Serie A champions.
There’s just over fifteen minutes to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this evening…
Roma XI (4-3-3): Alisson; Bruno Peres, Fazio, Juan Jesus, Kolarov; Strootman, De Rossi, Nainggolan; Defrel, Dzeko, Perotti.
Eusebio Di Francesco has decided to make just one change to the Roma side that started the win against Tottenham, with Kevin Strootman coming into the starting line-up to replace Gerson.
Meanwhile, Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri has made five alterations to the team that featured in their last outing, with Stephan Lichtsteiner, Giorgio Chiellini, Sami Khedira, Rodrigo Bentancur and Mario Mandzukic making way for Mattia De Sciglio, Daniele Rugani, Claudio Marchisio, Miralem Pjanic and Mario Lemina, respectively.
The two teams are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
There's been a late change to the Juventus line-up, with Mandzukic starting ahead of Lemina.
HALF-TIME: ROMA 0-1 JUVENTUS
Roma started the better of the two sides, but, overall, it's been a very comfortable game for Juventus so far. They've easily managed to hold on to possession in the middle of the pitch, whilst, in the final third, clever runs forward from their front line have continually caused problems for Roma's static defenders, with Fazio and Juan Jesus looking particularly flat-footed.
The two teams are making their way back out onto the pitch ahead of the start of the second half.
After dominating the first half, Juventus really should be leaving with a win right now, but Roma did well to get back into the game and find an equaliser thanks to a comfortable tap-in for Dzeko. The goal woke up the Serie A champions, who then tried their hardest to get back in front but couldn't seem to get the better of the Giallorossi defence, despite a good chance falling to Bernardeschi late on.
The players are back out on the pitch, and we're ready for the penalty shootout to begin. It's Roma to go first...
SAVE! Tumminello steps up and tries to fire a low strike into the bottom right-hand corner of the net, but Pinsoglio guesses right and saves the effort.
GOAL! Lichtsteiner goes for the opposite corner to Tumminello and manages to blast his shot under the body of Alisson.
GOAL! Just! Pinsoglio guesses right and just about manages to reach Pellegrini's shot, but it squirms away from his grasp and over the line.
GOAL! Barzagli comfortably tucks away an easy penalty kick that nestles into the bottom left-hand corner of the net.
GOAL! Alisson dives the wrong way and allows Bernardeschi to easily roll a deft shot into the back of the net to keep Juventus in front.
GOAL! Once again, Pinsoglio gets a hand on a shot, this time from Iturbe, but he can't keep the strike from finding the top right-hand corner of the net.
GOAL! Khedira blasts a great strike into the left-hand side of the net after Alisson dived the wrong way.
GOAL! Roma stay in the contest thanks to Bruno Peres, who stutters his run up before side-footing a shot into the bottom right-hand corner of the net.
GOAL! Under converts his penalty with a clever finish that keeps Roma in the game.
GOAL! Alisson guesses right this time but can't get a hand to a low shot from Douglas Costa that buries into the back of the net and wins the contest for Juventus.
They were made to work hard for the victory, but Juventus have managed to leave with a win that was arguably well deserved. They failed to take their chances in the second half but impressed enough in the first, where they were comfortably on the front foot against a Roma side that struggled. The Giallorossi improved somewhat after the break, and they did well to find an equaliser thanks to good play between Kolarov and Dzeko.
Roma will now face Sevilla in their final pre-season friendly, whilst Juventus must play against Tottenham at Wembley before taking on Lazio in the Supercoppa in two weeks' time.
