There will be three additional minutes at the Allianz Riviera. The clock was reset, of course, after the delay due to floodlight failure early in the second half.
89'
Nice respond and win a corner at the other end and that should see them keep the ball for the closing stages now. This will be another fine win in this group for Lucien Favre's men, who must still play the dangerous Lazio home and away.
88'
Vitesse are pushing here, but any goal would only be a consolation. They win a pair of corners on the right-hand side, but the deliveries come to nothing.
85'
M. Mount enters the game and replaces B. Linssen.
SUB! Linssen, who has had little impact, is replaced by Mason Mount.
82'
A. Pléa has scored a goal for Nice! Assist by B. Srarfi.
It was Srarfi, the substitute, who played that ball back to Plea. The scorer really was the architect, though, pushing passes here and there.
GOAL! This is a lovely goal from Plea to seal the win! He takes a pass with a superb first touch into space and finishes past Pasveer at his near post. 3-0.
79'
B. Srarfi enters the game and replaces A. Saint-Maximin.
SUB! The changes continue as Nice's final switch sees goalscorer - and probable man of the match - Saint-Maximin replaced by Bassem Srarfi.
78'
Mukhtar Ali enters the game and replaces T. Serero.
SUB! Serero, booked in the first half, makes way for Mukhtar Ali.
76'
Vitesse keep the ball for a good 60 seconds and then find possession pinched by the brilliant Koziello. He has repeatedly shut down the visitors on the rare occasions they have built momentum.
74'
There's a short stoppage for Kashia, who has stayed down after diving across a square ball from Lees-Melou. That came from a Jallet pass, but Pasveer was alert to the ball.
Minute
Description
73'
I. Ganago enters the game and replaces M. Balotelli.
SUB! And Mario Balotelli is also replaced, with Ignatius Ganago coming on.
72'
A. Tameze enters the game and replaces J. Seri.
Bruns shoots high and wide as the ball breaks to him 25 yards from goal. Only a fine Maxime Le Marchand challenge had prevented a rather more dangerous opening, with Rashica tracked and stopped.
SUB! Seri makes way for Adrien Tameze.
69'
Risky from Cardinale, who passes to the blatantly marked Seri. The midfielder fizzes a pass back to his goalkeeper, with the subsequent hack just about clearing the lines.
CLOSE! That's the type of pass Seri wants! Jallet plays inside, Plea dummies, and Seri is able to curl an effort towards the far post. He just misses.
67'
SAVE! Souquet wants a penalty as he is taken out in the area, but the ball runs for Saint-Maximin to, from a tight angle, thrash a finish off Pasveer.
66'
It's Lees-Melou's turn to show some fancy footwork for Nice. He chips the ball over an advancing Vitesse player and disappears off infield.
64'
POST! Ever so close to a goal back for Vitesse! Thomas Bruns' sublime free kick leaves Cardinale rooted to the spot, but bounces away off the left-hand upright.
62'
Saint-Maximin's dribbling skills are not restricted to the final third, it seems. Nice come under a little pressure in the right corner, but their brilliant winger brilliantly turns away from his man and opens up the pitch with a simple pass.
59'
Vitesse force a corner at the other end but attempt to, cleverly, go short. It's a disastrous effort, the receiving player on the edge of the box slipping and almost allowing Balotelli to counter.
57'
At the moment, Nice's territorial dominance is counting for little. A neat move involving Plea and Balotelli could not quite squeeze Seri through.
54'
That stoppage does not appear to have slowed Nice's momentum. They are still well on top.
52'
And we're back! In comes the long-awaited free-kick and Cardinale claims.
51'
Miazga crucially dives to the rescue for Vitesse as Balotelli lines up another effort at the end of a neat dribble. It's all one-way traffic so far in this second half.
Uh oh... The floodlights have gone out at the Allianz Riviera.
The lights are now flickering a little, fading on and then off, giving the pitch an orange glow. The players are stood, waiting, on the edge of the Nice box.
And still we wait, as the Nice fans amuse themselves with cheers and jeers.
The players are currently juggling the ball between them, but the match has now been suspended due to floodlight failure. We await further developments.
The lights are gradually turning back on in some parts of the stadium, illuminating the pitch to reveal Nice goalkeeper Cardinale balancing the ball on his nose. On the touch line, officials and men in suits are trying to address the outage.
49'
And now Lees-Melou has a pop from range, catching the ball sweet but shooting well wide.
48'
With Nice's other star men on the score sheet, Balotelli will be desperate for a goal. There is no way through as a shooting opportunity almost opens up this time, though.
46'
L. Faye enters the game and replaces A. Büttner.
KICK-OFF: We are back under way.
SUB! Vitesse start the second half with the line-up that saw off Ajax, Faye replacing Buttner.
45' +2
HALF-TIME: Nice 2 Vitesse 0.
45'
A. Saint-Maximin has scored a goal for Nice!
GOAL! What a goal! It's a very costly error indeed from Serero, who gives the ball to Saint-Maximin and then, along with his team-mates, cannot recover to stop the explosive winger dashing forward and firing into the bottom-left. 2-0.
44'
Vitesse escape as Balotelli thunders a shot straight at Miazga, but they give the ball away again as they move forward...
43'
Jallet's place in this team is intriguing. He is a replacement for the brilliant Dalbert - signed by Inter - and yet plays only on his right foot. That creates some problems and his latest cross is overhit. At the other end, he has not looked at it.
42'
Rashica has enjoyed himself up against Jallet, who has struggled. But when he bursts into the area this time, he is met by the patrolling Vincent Koziello. The Nice man mastefully closes out the attack.
41'
Jallet gives the ball away in the Vitesse half and there is a break on. It slows when the pass in behind to Matavz is overhit, but the forward brilliantly retrieves play. Buttner then undoes that hard work by taking a heavy touch.
40'
CLOSE! Nice string together a wonderful move, the ball covering the left flank before moving into the middle. Eventually, Balotelli is teed up for a strike and sidefoots narrowly wide.
36'
SAVE! Lovely play from Rashica! He beats Jallet and delivers a whipped cross, but Bryan Linssen cannot make clean contact and the unwitting Souquet directs the ball into the arms of Cardinale.
34'
Nice look great in attack. As well as Saint-Maximin, Plea and Lees-Melou are always on the move. They play Jallet in to force a corner, but Vitesse clear again.
31'
T. Serero gets yellow.
YELLOW! The referee pulls the game back for a foul by Serero, which had failed to disrupt Nice's flow.
Matavz has been given a lonely task here. He is asked to chase long balls, but anything not measured to perfection is meat and drink for the alert and sprightly Cardinale.
30'
Saint-Maximin is enjoying himself on the Nice right. He dances left and right, finally delivering a gorgeous cross. Balotelli is stood some five yards outside the area, though.
28'
Good goalkeeping, Cardinale! Rashica gets in on the right and drills a low centre towards the back post, but Cardinale dives out to claim.
27'
Plea - who now has his third goal of the group stage - is busy here. He crosses to the right and fouls Buttner.
25'
M. Balotelli gets yellow.
YELLOW! Balotelli goes into the book as he controls a right-wing cross with his left hand. The forward, of course, protests his innocence.
23'
SAVE! It's a solid block from Pasveer, advancing from his line after Lees-Melou brilliantly jinked into the area. A corner comes to nothing.
22'
Vitesse are leaving just three men behind the ball when they have possession, aiming to feed passes through to the attackers. So far, that has simply tempted Nice to counter - and they have.
20'
CLOSE! Brilliant from Saint-Maximin, skipping by a challenge and shooting. The effort is deflected just over the top, though, and the corner cleared.
19'
It does not take Nice long to get back on the attack again, but Christophe Jallet is trapped in the left corner and gives possession away.
16'
A. Pléa has scored a goal for Nice! Assist by Dante.
GOAL! It is Nice's first chance of note and a poacher's goal for Plea! Lees-Melou's corner reaches the forward at the back post and he expertly toes the ball high past the goalkeeper. 1-0.
Dante brilliantly headed the corner - conceded from a Miazga header - on to the back post, where Plea was waiting.
15'
SAVE! Cardinale stops a powerful Matavz drive, but the Vitesse forward should have lifted his head and slid in a team-mate after the ball fortuitously bounced his way.
13'
Buttner is very involved on the left flank for Vitesse. He first fouls Allan Saint-Maximin and then takes a foul going the other way.
12'
CLOSE! Vitesse have a go from range this time and Cardinale is scrambling across his goal line. Navarone Foor's shot fizzes wide.
11'
Frustration for Nice. A sloppy Matt Miazga pass is intercepted, seemingly allowing Balotelli to break against an outnumbered Vitesse back line. The visitors escape because, bizarrely, their forward Tim Matavz - the intended recipient of the pass - was offside.
Another effort from distance for the home side, but Remko Pasveer can again watch the ball fly high and wide after Pierre Lees-Melou's strike.
9'
Thulani Serero drops very deep in this Vitesse side, between the two centre backs, to allow the full backs to push on. Dabo and Buttner have each shown flashes early on.
8'
That's better. A smart turn from Seri opens up a pass to Alassane Plea, whose one-two with Mario Balotelli nearly comes off on the edge of the area.
6'
SAVE! It's routine for Yoan Cardinale, catching Milot Rashica's curler, but Seri needs to be a little more careful in the middle of the pitch. He gifted the ball away there.
4'
Nice are unhappy that there's no foul called for a high challenge on Balotelli - and Arnaud Souquet brings Buttner down. The former Manchester United man lifts himself to take the free-kick, but a near post flick causes no real problems.
3'
Vitesse take their chance to enjoy possession, moving down the right. Fankaty Dabo's cross goes behind, however.
2'
A long, angled ball out from the back, courtesy of captain Guram Kashia, immediately hands Nice possession and they settle.
And the first, wild Mario Balotelli attempt follows. Taking a pass 25 yards from goal, he shoots high and wide.

KICK-OFF: Vitesse get us under way in their change strip.
Hello and welcome to our live text commentary of the Europa League clash between Nice and Vitesse.
Nice endured a miserable start to the season, but they are top of Group K - after a 5-1 win at Zulte Waragem - and now unbeaten in four matches in all competitions.
Although visitors Vitesse lost their pool opener - 3-2 to Lazio - they are third in the Eredivisie and impressively saw off last season's Europa League finalists Ajax in Amsterdam on Sunday.
Let's get the team news from the Allianz Riviera...
Subs: Houwen, Van der Werff, Colkett, Castaignos, Mount, Ali, Faye.
Nice make just one change; Jean Michael Seri replaces Nampalys Mendy. The same is true of Vitesse, who bring in Alexander Buttner for Lassana Faye.
These two have never met in a competitive match, but Nice have drawn two previous clashes with Dutch opponents - knocking out Ajax in the qualifying rounds of this season's Champions League on away goals.
Vitesse, by contrast, have a miserable record against French sides. In four games, they have drawn once and lost three times.
The players are gathering in the tunnel. We are just five minutes away from kick-off...
Here come the teams!
Nice are good value for their half-time lead. It has been tight at times, but they possess the better attacking players and that has shown.
Plea and Saint-Maximin have the goals and they - along with Lees-Melou - have been the best players on the pitch. Vitesse's Europa League group stage campaign looks to be over before it has truly begun.
That's all from this one. Nice ran out comfortable, deserved winners, with a brace from Plea either side of Saint-Maximin's strike. They were the two star men.
That's all from the Allianz Riviera. Thanks for joining us and, until next time, goodbye!
