Leiva is happy to play it down the left wing with Alberto, keeping it away from their own end and danger - and the referee blows for full-time! Lazio are through to the quarter finals of the 2017-18 UEFA Europa League!
90' +3
V. Buialskyi gets yellow.
Buyalskyy gets booked now as frustration boils over in a messy tackle on Anderson - who has taken quite a few tonight. One minute left.
90' +2
Alberto opts to play it wide to Anderson rather than into the box and Kiev's defence muscles up to clear. The attacking spark isn't there anymore for the hosts though...
90' +1
The last thing the hosts want now; a Lazio free-kick in scoring distance of goal as Anderson is caught by Gonzalez 22 yards out on the right.
90'
Four added minutes now as Leiva's weak tap-on finds only Kiev defenders.
89'
Close for Tsygankov! Another free-kick to Kiev - this time 25 yards out in front of goal - allows the winger to curl a cracker of a shot in that beats Strakosha and just slips wide at the right post.
87'
Tsygankov puts it into the box for Mbokani Bezua - and the substitute's header is well over the crossbar. Time is running out for Kiev - and they of course need two goals now to keep this tie alive.
86'
A free-kick to the hosts now as Shepelev is brought down 30 yards out on the left by de Vrij with a soft challenge. Is there the chance of something special from Dynamo?
85'
On the bench, substituted captain Morozyuk holds his head in his hands. That is probably the end of Kiev's European adventure for another year unless they can produce something magical.
83'
S. de Vrij has scored a goal for Lazio! Assist by Luiz Felipe.
Felipe's touch was probably heading in before de Vrij arrived but due credit to Alberto's corner again; the midfielder has played a wonderful game today.
That's surely the winner for Lazio! Alberto curls it in beautifully for Felipe. The defender's touch is deft, towards the bottom-left corner - and before Boyko can get to it, de Vrij arrives to bury it behind him with powerful-tap in. Lazio lead 2-0 and 4-2 on aggregate; they're heading to the quarter-finals of the Europa League as it stands.

Description
82'
F. Caicedo enters the game and replaces C. Immobile.
Lazio's final change tonight sees Immobile replaced by Felipe Caicedo as Anderson wins a corner for the visitors.
81'
Moraes hunts a long ball delivered by Gonzalez but it trickles just too far for the forward, allowing Strakosha to blast it back to midfield.
79'
Now Lukaku, on the counter attack, almost finds his way around the keeper with his tight shot on the edge of the left goal-touchline; Boyko holds onto it with a deft touch to palm the ball back to himself.
78'
Gonzalez! The substitute carves his way through three Lazio men on the edge of the box after a poor corner is cleared out to the 25-yard mark and his rocket of an effort just blasts past the top-right corner.
77'
Kedziora muscles his way through on the left to earn a throw-in - and from that, Kiev get a corner as de Vrij puts it out.
75'
Fifteen minutes of regulation time left, plus a few hundred added seconds; and still Kiev can't find their way out of a Lazio roadblock except in bursts. The Italians push forward again and Lukaku's cross almost finds Immobile; Gonzalez manages to nip in and clear on the right edge of the box in time.
73'
Two great chances for Kiev! First, Mbokani Bezua slips into the box only to tumble over his own feet with one defender to beat; and then the loose ball is cleared only to Tsygankov who puts a fantastic shot on from 25 yards that brushes the side netting of the top-left corner.
72'
A. Marušić enters the game and replaces Patric.
Now Patric is off for Lazio, with Adam Marusic arriving in his place.
Anderson tries to turn the ball in after he breaks into the left edge of the Kiev box; in the end, under pressure from Burda, he fires off a tight shot that goes straight to Boyko.
70'
Dieumerci Mbokani enters the game and replaces A. Biesiedin.
Dieumerci Mbokani Bezua completes the changes for Kiev, replacing Besedin up front as the hosts look for that vital goal.
Alberto clips it short, to the close side of the box for Paolo and he lofts it over the crossbar by some distance with a poor volley.
69'
J. Lukaku enters the game and replaces S. Lulić.
Lulic is the first change of the game for Lazio, and he is replaced by Jordan Lukaku as the visitors earn a corner off Anderson's tenacious attacking.
68'
Kedziora thought he was through on the right for a moment, after he was played a through-ball by Moraes; the linesman calls him rightfully offside however and Lazio breathe easily. A 1-1 draw, of course, would knock the Italians out on the away-goal rule.
66'
A. Shabanov gets yellow.
A yellow card for Shabanov now after a clumsy tackle on halfway whilst trying to reclaim a wayward pass.
64'
Alberto curls this effort short and Shepelev is first to react, clearing outside of the penalty area to Moraes who then earns a free-kick after he goes down from a Parolo tackle.
63'
Lazio keep up the attacks; Immobile, quiet for the last few minutes, sees his shot deflected out for a corner now from the edge of the 18-yard box.
61'
This time, the midfielder puts it to the right post instead; Boyko plucks it out of the air as Anderson arrives searching for a header.
59'
Both Radu and Boyko are thankfully recovered after a moment and they exchange handshakes as they return to play. Lazio get a third free-kick in a row - in the same spot again! - for a foul this time on Alberto by Burda.
58'
Alberto's effort is much more direct this time, lofted into the box, and Radu almost gets a header to it, just beaten out by the fist of Boyko. The two collide in mid-air and both go to ground looking in genuine discomfort; the Lazio man's head lolls to one side and the keeper clutches his stomach where the two clashed.
57'
D. González enters the game and replaces M. Moroziuk.
Kiev look to change it up now with captain Morozyuk off and Derlis Gonzalez on in his place. Another free-kick to the visitors now, in a similar position as Anderson once more goes to ground.
56'
So close for Alberto! His free-kick gets the perfect lift and dive on it - but he hooks it inches wide of the top left post. What an effort.
55'
Júnior Moraes gets yellow.
Now Besedin is caught offside too, this time off a long ball delivered by Shabanov, as the striker looked to escape the defensive trap set up by Lazio.
Free-kick to Lazio now, some 28 yards out on the left, as Moraes brings down Anderson and is booked for his troubles.
53'
Tsygankov tries to steady the ship for Kiev after that close call, but Lazio intercept his pass and lay up a chance for Immobile - who, fortunately for the hosts, is caught offside at the right post as he tries to tap in Lulic's cross.
51'
Patric! That could have been the game for Lazio! The visitors bring the ball back to the Kiev half and a cross for Immobile from Leiva is played back, six yards out, into the path of the winger - who with what is practically an open goal, skies it over the bar.
49'
It's a snappy delivery from Tsygankov and Besedin lands a solid header that he steers just wide on the right. A solid chance but, more promising for Kiev, a sparky attack too.
48'
Smart work from Besedin sees him take the ball down the left wing and though his first chance is cut back, his second effort to cross earns his side a much-needed corner.
46'
We're back underway for the second half in Ukraine; can Kiev find the leveller that will see them through or will Lazio net a second to further secure their progression?
45' +3
A sparky little run from Pivaric is followed with an attempt from outside the box; it pinballs between defenders and eventually to the arms of Strakosha, for what will be the last play of the half as the whistle follows!
45' +2
Lazio are content to play around midfield and back to their keeper as Kiev reshuffle their back-line after that change.
45'
A. Shabanov enters the game and replaces T. Kádár.
Kadar has taken a nasty knock somewhere in that run of superb saves, trying to deflect a shot - and he limps off quietly as the game continues, replaced by Artem Shabanov. Three added minutes incoming.
44'
And another heroic save from Boyko, as he makes a swan dive onto a loose ball that Immobile was looking to blast in from close range after Kiev's defence went MIA following a Lulic cross.
43'
Did Boyko get a hand to that ball outside of his box! The Kiev keeper pulls off a second great save as he tips back an attempted chip from Immobile at the edge of his box with a running leap - and times it just so that he is airborne when he makes contact.
42'
Save by Boyko! Anderson slips the midfield trap and puts on a top-notch through-ball that Burda fails to intercept; Immobile picks it up just in front of the keeper but his effort is knocked aside.
40'
Leiva sniffs a half-chance 25 yards out but his shot takes a straight deflection off Buyalskiy and ends up in midfield again.
38'
A great chance for Immobile again; this time, the Lazio man tries a back-heel after Anderson opens up a gap for a neat pass. The intent is good; the execution is not as the striker falls over his own feet and the ball spills wide to the left again.
37'
Both sides are content to hold in midfield for a brief interlude, before Leiva lays up a beautiful pass for Alberto to flick on to Immobile - only for the last touch to drift the ball to Boyko instead who comes off his line to collect.
35'
A stoppage in play now for Besedin to get some treatment after the Kiev man went down challenging for Boyko's goal kick.
34'
Boyko is first to Alberto's effort too but only clears as far as the midfielder - who then pulls his effort from the lip of the box wide at the close left post.
33'
Corner to Lazio again as Leiva sees a cross destined for him from Lulic forced out by Burda on the left.
31'
Another attempt from the hosts finds them pinged for offside as Tsygankov's cross from out wide on the left finds Besedin in an offside position.
29'
A Radu error at the back gifts a wonderful chance for Kiev to strike back - but Besedin hurries his volley from a Kedziora pass over the bar.
27'
Besedin hunts a long ball played from his own half by Shepelev; it skitters across the turf to the Lazio keeper Strakosha before he can land a touch on it.
25'
It's a poor effort from Kiev and before they can even try a follow-up, their captain Morozyuk is penalised for a foul in the box. Free-kick to Lazio in their own penalty area.
24'
Shouts for a penalty from Lazio again as, from the restart, Immobile breaks free and canters into the box where he comes down under pressure from Kadar. The referee disagrees once more and the hosts counter swiftly to earn a corner.
23'
Lucas Leiva has scored a goal for Lazio! Assist by Luis Alberto.
Alberto's corner was weighted to perfection, and read wonderfully by his fellow midfielder; Kiev didn't read Leiva's run until too late there.
And just like that, they break the deadlock! Lucas Leiva lands a fantastic glancing header at the near left post that diverts Alberto's corner in at the far right in front of Boyko's outstretched arms. Lazio take the lead - and the advantage.
22'
It's mostly been Lazio so far with the intent in this opening quarter as they look to find that all-important goal - but on the moments Kiev spark into attack, they look more dangerous than their visitors. A corner now to the Italian side.
20'
Tsygankov sprints down the wing from a break in play and puts a great flat cross into the box - only for it to sail in front of Morozyuk as he arrives into the box late, allowing Radu to clear.
18'
Luiz Felipe gets yellow.
Moraes tries to ferry the ball at speed down the left wing, looking to spark another bout of Kiev attack; only to be left smarting by a wild Felipe challenge. The Lazio man is booked - much to his disbelief - and Dynamo get the free-kick.
17'
Luis Alberto is the latest to try his luck, putting a header off a Felipe cross into the arms of Boyko at close range.
16'
A free-kick 30 yards out on the right for Lazio now allows Leiva to drift it into the box; Patric's header in the huddle puts the ball wide to Immobile on the left, unmarked, only for the striker to skew his volley wide.
14'
A play-back ball to Boyko in goal is nearly intercepted by a prowling Immobile and the Kiev keeper has to hurriedly put it out for a throw-in on halfway.
12'
Morozyuk's free-kick is headed clear and out for a corner by Lulic - and moments later, that too is knocked away by the winger, allowing Lazio to work themselves back to midfield.
11'
Against the run of play, Dynamo counter smartly through Moraes and Tsygankov - with the latter earning a free-kick on the left edge of the Lazio box as he goes down under pressure from Felipe.
9'
Kiev defuse the effort and Leiva's follow-up is poorly headed wide by Anderson. It's all one-way traffic for Lazio so far though; the hosts look to be somewhat jumbled around the back.
8'
What a chance for Lazio! Immobile chases a long, low pass from Leiva into the box and manages to wrong-foot Boyko in goal. With the keeper down, it's an open net - but his shot is deflected by a last-gasp sliding tackle from Kadar. Corner to the visitors.
7'
Should that have been a penalty? A cross from the right appears to hit the hand of Pivaric as the Kiev man slides in to clear within his own box and several Lazio players appeal loudly, only for the referee to wave them away.
5'
Anderson tries his luck from further out this time to the same results, lofting a half volley wide of the crossbar from 20 yards out on the left.
3'
Anderson is fed a lovely through-ball into the left edge of the box; in trying to steer it round the far side of Burda though, he takes it out of play on the line. Goal kick to Kiev.
1'
We're underway in this UEFA Europa League tie between Dynamo Kiev and Lazio! It's the visitors who push downfield first, with Patric crossing in from the right wing looking for Immobile on the left edge of the box; Burda is there to sweep it away for the hosts.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the 2017-18 UEFA Europa League round of 16 second leg as Lazio travel to Ukraine to face Dynamo Kiev at NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium. The pair are tied at 2-2 on aggregate after the first leg in Italy – but Simone Inzaghi’s side know that outside of a win, only a three-goal draw will take them to the quarter-finals and avoid either extra-time or an exit from the competition. Who will still be on the road to Lyon after the next 90 minutes? Kick-off is just around the corner.
The pair are meeting for the fourth time in competitive European football, following their third clash last week at Stadio Olimpico; they previously faced off twice in Group A of the first round of the 1999-2000 UEFA Champions League. Both sides progressed through to the second stage ahead of Maribor and Bayer Leverkusen – but it was Lazio who triumphed in both of their games, with 2-1 and 1-0 victories. For Inzaghi and Kiev manager Alyaksandr Khatskevich, this game is loaded with history; both were players at their respective teams when the sides faced off.
Following several rather contentious domestic decisions surround VAR, Inzaghi has spoken of his contentment that the system is not utilised in Europa League games in the build-up to this game. Lazio drew 2-2 with Cagliari at the weekend, thanks in part to an injury-time equaliser from Ciro Immobile – but the coach of Le Aquile has boldly proclaimed that he feels it has cost his side seven points since the new year.
Speaking of Immobile, he currently sits joint-third in the goal-scoring charts for this season’s tournament with six to his name; only one behind Kiev’s Brazilian dangerman Junior Moraes, with the former Metalurh Donetsk having netted seven times to place second behind Athletic Bilbao’s Aritz Aduriz on eight.
Kiev are looking to make it to the quarter-finals for the first time since the 2014-15 edition of the tournament, when they lost to another Italian side, Fiorentina, 3-1 on aggregate. Nine years ago, they made their best finish in this tournament, reaching the semi-finals of the then-UEFA Cup in 2009; they defeated Valencia and Paris Saint-Germain before falling to fellow Ukrainian outfit and eventual winners Shakhtar Donetsk.
Lazio were at this stage two years ago, in 2016, when they were knocked out by Sparta Prague; they last progressed past this stage in 2012-13, when Fenerbahce saw them off in the quarter-finals 3-1 on aggregate. Unlike Kiev, they have previously been to the final however; they lost to Inter in 1998, 3-0, at the Parc de Princes in Paris, in what was the UEFA Cup’s first single-leg showpiece finale.
The teams are out in Kiev and we're moments away from kick-off...
A Lucas Leiva header off a Luis Alberto corner after 22 minutes has given Lazio a well-deserved lead in Ukraine after they controlled the early exchanges - as well as the advantage going into the second half as they lead this tie 3-2 on aggregate. With half as much possession as their visitors, Dynamo need to find their footing - and fast - if they hope to keep their European dream alive for this season. At half-time, it's Dynamo Kiev 0-1 Lazio (2-3 on aggregate).
After sharing the spoils in Rome, Lazio knew they had to win here to assure their advance to the round of eight and avoid extra-time - and they delivered with an excellent showing to reach the quarter-finals. Goals for Leiva and de Vrij ensure they remain in Europe for a little while longer; for Kiev, they finish their continental exploits for one more year. Full-time in Ukraine, it finishes Dynamo Kiev 0-2 Lazio (2-4 on aggregate).
With four more games still to come, it won't be until later that the full make-up for the quarter-finals is known - but Lazio are definitely in the hat, alongside Atletico Madrid and Marseille. Who will they face off with? We'll know soon enough - but until then, thank you for joining us and have a good weekend!
