J. Jugas is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
4-0 to Australia! Jakub Jugas is the unlucky man who concedes an own goal as Degenek turns a flat cross in from the right of the box that takes a heavy glance off the defender and tucks in at the near post underneath Koubek. It's been a great game for the Socceroos.

Nabbout! What a strike! He gets his first goal for his country with a lovely run into the right edge of the box, sidestepping around two defenders before blasting it in at the far-left post. Australia make it 2-0 and look to be heading to Russia with a win under their belts.

32'
M. Leckie has scored a goal for Australia! Assist by R. Kruse.
Kruse's half-volley assist was rather lovely in itself but the credit goes to Rogic who split the Czech defence in half when he sent Risden to the right. Jarolim will not be happy about conceding that goal.
Against the run of play, Australia have the lead! It's a soft goal to concede from a Czech perspective; the Socceroos had all the time in the world. Leckie has the easiest of tap-ins at the right post, after Rogic squares a ball to Risden out on the right, who duly crosses wide to the left post for Kruse to clip back across the face of goal. 1-0 to Australia.

We're underway in St. Pollen! Australia are the first to play forward, with Mooy slipping a pass through to Nabbout, though the forward can't find his way around Boril at the back.
Bert van Marwijk's side are making their fourth consecutive appearance at the World Cup, having only previously featured in West Germany 1974 before 2006 – and this game gives them a chance to fine-tune ahead of trimming their squad to a 23-man party, with uncapped Fran Karačić and Daniel Arzani among those jockeying to get on the plane.
The Socceroos almost didn't make it this year though; they left it late to qualify after coming up short in their group, being forced to come through the AFC fifth-place play-off against Syria and an inter-confederation clash with Honduras to make it Russia.
As for the Czech Republic, Karel Jarolim's men will have to continue their wait for at least another four years to appear at the World Cup again, having not featured since 2006 in Germany. Handed a competitive qualification route in Group C of the UEFA confederation, they finished third, four points adrift of second-placed Northern Ireland and well behind holders Die Mannschaft. They have only lost once in their last six games though, against Uruguay in March's China Cup – and they will be hopeful of providing a stern test to their opponents in St. Pollen.
Lineups now as we approach kick-off...
Hello and welcome to live coverage of this pre-World Cup friendly as Australia look to warm up for Russia against the Czech Republic at the NV Arena in St. Polten, Austria. The Socceroos have only met their opponents once before, when they lost 3-1 in a friendly in 2000 – but with their opponents absent from this year's showpiece tournament, can they give themselves a winning send-off in style? Kick-off is on the way.

Despite their initial iron-fist control, it's the Czech Republic who trail at half-time, having been unable to convert their chances into goals whilst a Mathew Leckie effort against the run of play has given the Socceroos the lead. There's a long way to still go in St. Pollen - but right now, it's Bert van Marwijk's men who are in the driving seat. After 45 minutes, it's Australia 1-0 Czech Republic.
With no World Cup to attend for the Czech Republic, they have one more game left in the season as they tangle with Nigeria; Australia though have one final chance to tune up for Russia when they face off against Hungary. Until then however, thank you for joining us - and have a good weekend!
A Mat Leckie double and Andrew Nabbout's first goal for his country were the highlights as Australia record their first win away from home soil for 633 days in a comprehensive 4-0 victory over the Czech Republic in Australia. Though they initially struggled in the first half, the Socceroos delivered a fine second-half showing to give themselves a big boost ahead of Russia - and a tricky Group C including France, Peru and Denmark. At full-time in St. Pollen, it finishes Australia 4-0 Czech Republic.
