Thanks for joining our live commentary tonight. Until next time, goodbye.
This was a disappointing start to Mancini’s tenure. The second half was a relative improvement, but the first half was poor. There’s clearly still plenty of work to be done, and it will be interesting to see how Italy get on when they face Portugal. Poland will be pleased to get a point but could easily have won this one if they had shown a bit more ambition.
Italy and Poland drew their first ever Nations League match. Jorginho's second half penalty cancelled out Zielinski's first half strike and both sides seemed to settle for a draw after that. Neither team did enough to win the match, and Portugal, the other team in the group, were the real winners tonight.
Mancini must be considering changes at half-time. Aside from a couple of moments from Bernardeschi, the front three have barely been able to get into the game. Immobile could come off the bench soon, as Mancini tries to avoid a defeat in his first match as Italy manager. Poland have looked the more likely side for most of the half and probably deserve to be ahead. Brzeczek will be pleased with what he's seen from his side, but could look to replace Klich, who is at risk of getting a second yellow.
Poland hold a 1-0 lead at half-time thanks to a Zielinski goal in the 40th minute. Italy have looked very short of ideas in possession, and their defence has been vulnerable whenever the visitors have counter-attacked. The hosts have not created much so far, but they have had a couple of opportunities from set pieces. Poland will be delighted with that first half. Lewandowski found space on a couple of occasions, and their defence was solid throughout.
Mancini opts to start his old friend Balotelli in his first match in charge. Poland are near full strength and, crucially, have Lewandowski in the line-up. Italy's bench is deep, which gives Mancini plenty of options if he needs to freshen things up.

Let's take a look at the two teams tonight, starting with the hosts.
Poland, unlike their hosts tonight, made it to the World Cup. Their adventure was over after two defeats in the first two matches, however, and their away form was poor in World Cup qualifying. This is a fresh start for Poland too, though, with Jerzy Brzeczek managing the side for the first time. They are the underdogs tonight, but they have something to prove after a difficult time in Russia.
Roberto Mancini takes charge of Italy for the first time tonight. The former Manchester City boss was brought in after they failed to qualify for the World Cup and has already made changes to the squad. This might be the beginning of a rebuild for the Italians, but expectations will still be high for Mancini’s first match in charge.
Good evening and welcome to tonight's coverage of the UEFA Nations League clash between Italy and Poland.
