90' +1
Play is momentarily stopped as Matic requires some treatment after a couple of niggling fouls from Ngamaleu in midfield.
90'
Three minutes will be added to the end of the 90 says the fourth official!

The fans raise their voices to cheer their side on as Ngamaleu cuts inside and eludes two defenders with a slick move. The ball is switched to the right but the ensuing cross is a poor one that United clear immediately.
86'
Sulejmani finds Assale with a centring cut-back pass but the first-time shot is met with very little power and De Gea saves comfortably. This will give United a chance to drain considerable time, as they look to secure the victory.
82'
R. Assalé gets yellow.
Roger Assale sees yellow after a poor tackle in midfield catches Mata and not the ball.
81'
Shaw crosses the ball with a low, driven hit and finds the foot of Mata perfectly, though the Spanish midfielder blasts his chance wide of the goal.
79'
Ali Camara chips it forward for Nsame who gets free of Smalling but can’t catch up to the pass which rolls just beyond the line and out for a goal-kick.
77'
Young Boys are not content to see out the final 15 minutes quietly as they storm forward at every opportunity. Ngamaleu is taken down by Shaw before he can put in a cross, but the referee is having none of it.

Jean Pierre Nsame is the man to replace Guillaume Hoarau for the last 15 minutes.
Paul Pogba’s wonderful night comes to an end as he is replaced by Andreas Pereira.
74'
HOW HAS ALI CAMARA MISSED?! The corner evades every head in the penalty area and falls inside the six-yard box for the centre-back who meets the cross with a side-foot volley, but he manages to put his chance well of the post, taking a touch off the woodwork on its way out! Cruel luck for the home side.
73'
Ngamaleu takes on Shaw inside the penalty area but the full-back puts in a wonderful tackle to put the ball out for a corner.
69'
Mata enters the game and replaces M. Rashford.
M. Fellaini enters the game and replaces Fred.
Marcus Rashford contributed little to the match despite his side’s overwhelming lead. He goes off for Juan Mata.
Jose Mourinho also chooses to make his second substitution of the match at the same break in play as Fred is replaced by Marouane Fellaini.
66'
A. Martial has scored a goal for Manchester United! Assist by P. Pogba.
UNITED LEAD 3-0! Pogba gallops towards the penalty area and looks to his left where Martial is making a run into the area unmarked. The winger receives the delivery in-stride and curls the ball around the goalkeeper, but not before the shot takes a deflection which makes the effort unstoppable!
Paul Pogba gets his name on the score sheet for the third time today, this time with a well-weighted assist for Martial.
65'
M. Ngamaleu enters the game and replaces C. Fassnacht.
Christian Fassnacht will play no further part in this match. Nicolas Moumi Ngamaleu is his replacement.
63'
Aebischer takes Martial down from behind as the Manchester United winger barrels towards the penalty area. Rashford takes the free-kick with his right foot but blasts his chance into the well-placed wall.
61'
Aebischer looks to get involved as he sprints to the midfield line and sprays a pass forward to Hoarau which is promptly intercepted by the lurking United defender. Young Boys aren’t giving up, but they are getting more and more stretched as they look to halve the deficit.
59'
M. Aebischer enters the game and replaces D. Sow.
Djibril Sow looks to have picked up an injury to his left hamstring and Michel Aebischer is on to relieve him for the final 30 minutes.
57'
Assale sprints down the left and cuts inside down the edge of the penalty area before firing a shot towards De Gea which sails high above the keeper’s crossbar.
55'
Fred’s effort doesn’t get past the first man who heads it away for a second corner. Fred collects the ball and takes another set-piece, which once again fails to get past the defender stationed on the near post. United’s corners must be better if they want to add a third.
53'
Fred has a curling strike with his left foot but it doesn’t get to Von Ballmoos as its deflected away for a corner-kick which the Brazil midfielder will take himself.
51'
Appeals for a handball from the home support as Smalling chests a Fassnacht cross out for a corner-kick – though it did look like the United centre-back used his arm to control the ball. The Young Boys corner is taken by Sulejmani but it’s a poor delivery.
50'
Lukaku jumps on the loose ball in the penalty area before Von Ballmoos who comes a long way off his line to intervene. The Belgium striker tries to force a pass into the centre, but the ball comes back to him and the linesman raises his flag for offside.
49'

The referee shows a yellow card to Fred for his over-zealous challenge on Sow in midfield.
48'
Martial gets in the penalty area looking to get on the end of a Lukaku pass, but the winger falls under the pressure of a Young Boys defender – not enough for a penalty, however, says the match official.
46'

45' +1
HALF-TIME: YOUNG BOYS 0-2 MANCHESTER UNITED.
45'
The referee indicates one minute of added time at the end of the first half.
44'
Penalty goal scored by P. Pogba for Manchester United!
It’s a slow, stuttering run-up from the captain but the shot itself is world class. Von Ballmoos does incredibly well to guess the right way and get a hand to it, but the strike is taken with conviction and the necessary height. 2-0 United!
43'
PENALTY TO UNITED! Shaw hits a first-time cross inside the penalty area which hits the hand of Mbabu – despite the full-back attempting to take his hand out of the way. The referee has given it though, and Pogba has a chance to double United’s advantage.
41'
Play is stopped as Lukaku goes down holding his back after a challenge from Von Bergen. The United striker seems to be in some real pain, though he will continue no doubt.
39'
Lindelof gets free at the back of the box and rises to get a head to the Fred corner, forcing Von Ballmoos off his line to make a less-than-convincing punch which gives United a second set-piece try – which fails to trouble the defence as the goalkeeper makes the easy catch.
35'
P. Pogba has scored a goal for Manchester United! Assist by Fred.
The assist from Fred is a wonderful display of awareness, with the midfielder smartly taking the time to look up and send a return pass back to Pogba who makes his shot count.
PAUL POGBA GIVES UNITED THE ADVANTAGE! 1-0 to the Red Devils as the Manchester United captain receives the ball on the edge of the penalty area, shifts his weight to open up some room, takes a step into the box and fires a thunderbolt past Von Ballmoos in the Young Boys goal.
33'
Sulejmani delivers another corner towards the edge of the six-yard box once again looking for the head of Ali Camara, but the winger misses his target and the ball rolls out for a throw-in on the other side. From the throw, Fassnacht nips in and intercepts before charging at De Gea’s goal and taking a wonderful strike which brings out a fantastic save from the keeper who gives Young Boys another corner.
31'
Brilliant play by Fassnacht who spins around Dalot and gets into the penalty area before also turning past Lindelof. He loses the ball in his feet before sorting himself out and having a shot which is charged down by two separate defenders. Had he been able to get a shot off earlier, he would have had the whole net to aim at!
30'
Assale should really do better as a through-ball pass splits Lindelof and Smalling looking for the run of Hoarau – but the delivery is hit with too much power and it rolls into the hands of De Gea.
28'
Assale and Hoarau fail to link up on a two-vs-two opportunity in Manchester United’s half which gives Lindelof the opportunity to sneak in and steal possession. The home side are doing well putting the Red Devils’ defence in awkward positions – though they have yet to capitalise fully.
27'
Pogba is knocked over in midfield while looking for the incisive pass, but the referee allows play to continue – allowing Young Boys to start a counter-attack in search of the opening goal.
25'
Mbabu chases down a cutting pass from Sulejmani but uses too much force to get around Shaw – and the referee gives Manchester United a chance to clear their lines from a free-kick deep in their own half.
23'
It’s a great cross from Benito on the Manchester United left but Dalot covers the rear and takes no chances, putting the ball out for a Young Boys throw-in.
21'
Assale forces another Smalling intervention as he volleys away the dangerous cross from inside the penalty area. While United’s full-backs are making their presence known in attack, they are leaving dangerously large gaps in defence which Sulejmani is exploiting at every opportunity.
19'
Young Boys are certainly impressing in the opening 20 minutes, allowing Manchester United to have the ball for large spells in which they rarely trouble Von Ballmoos. It’s a confident start for the home side who are handling the pressure of Mourinho’s side calmly and with organisation.
17'
WHAT A STOP FROM DE GEA! It’s a strong right fist which shoots into the air to parry an Ali Camara shot narrowly over the crossbar. The strike was taken from some distance by the centre-back, but it almost managed to sneak its way into the net, just under the woodwork. Instead – it’s a Young Boys corner.
15'
Mbabu makes room on the Young Boys right and puts in a cross which Smalling leaps into action to deal with. Sulejmani fires his corner towards the back post looking for Ali Camara who makes contact but doesn’t trouble the goalkeeper.
13'
Assale is thrown off the ball by Lindelof and the striker immediately looks around for the referee – but the contact is clean and Manchester United clear the ball away from their penalty area.
12'
Dalot has looked extremely promising in the opening stages, using has pace well to get behind the opposition full-backs and using his nifty footwork to breeze by would-be defenders. It’s his debut in a Manchester United jersey and so far, everything positive from United is thanks to him.
10'
Dalot, for the third time in 10 minutes, gets free down the right and puts in a cross to the near post, but Von Ballmoos makes the catch confidently.
8'
Smalling is forced to come across and put the ball out of play as Young Boys expose Manchester United a gap left by Shaw. From the throw-in, Hoarau gets his head to a cross from Mbabu and sends his effort narrowly wide of De Gea’s goal.
6'
Manchester United hold it in defence, forcing Young Boys to come forward, but Matic’s pass to Lukaku to break the press is intercepted by Benito.
4'
Dalot gets by two defenders on the right and completes a step-over before sending in a cross which is deflected for a second corner. Martial takes where it’s met by Smalling, but the header is blocked well by a marker in the way.
3'
Fred takes the in-swinging corner but it fails to beat the defender at the near post. It’s a poor first effort from a set-piece from the away side.
2'
Dalot whips a cross into the penalty area where it misses the head of Lukaku. Martial is there to control at the back post and win his side a first corner of the match.

The atmosphere is incredible at the Stade de Suisse as Young Boys get the match underway from the kick-off!
Good evening and welcome to our LIVE commentary of the Champions League fixture between Young Boys and Manchester United at the Stade de Suisse in Bern!
It wasn’t an easy path to group H for the hosts who were forced to qualify via a daunting playoff tie against Dinamo Zagreb which the Swiss champions came through with an extremely impressive 2-1 win away in Croatia. Prior to losing, Zagreb had not lost in their last 15 games at home – winning 13. Gerardo Seoane has brought his team through their fair share of adversity which should make for excellent preparation as they welcome the three-time European Cup champions in Manchester United.
It’s a first-ever appearance for Young Boys in the Champions League group stages this evening, though they appeared in the tournament semi-regularly prior to the European Cup’s rebranding. The Swiss Super League victors are on an incredible run of form in all competitions, with their last loss in official matches coming in the form of a 2-1 loss to Zurich in the Schweizer Pokal in May.
Manchester United have never faced Young Boys in official competition, however, their record in Switzerland is less than ideal. In six meetings with Basel – who finished second in the league last year to Young Boys – the Red Devils are 2-2-2, with both losses coming at St. Jakob Park. Their most recent defeat came in last year’s Champions League, with Mourinho at the helm of a 1-0 defeat thanks to an 89th minute Michael Lang strike.
Manchester United Starting XI (4-3-3): David De Gea; Diogo Dalot, Chris Smalling, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw; Fred, Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba; Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku, Anthony Martial.
Young Boys Substitutes: Ulisses Garcia, Moumi Nicolas Ngamaleu, Michel Aebischer, Marco Wolfli, Thorsten Schick, Leonardo Bertone, Jean-Pierre Nsame.
Young Boys Starting XI (4-4-2): David Von Ballmoos; Loris Benito, Steve Von Bergen, Mohamed Ali Camara, Kevin Mbabu; Miralem Sulejmani, Sekou Sanogo, Djibril Sow, Christian Fassnacht; Roger Assale, Guillaume Hoarau.
With 15 minutes to go before kick-off, the team news has been confirmed! Let's start with the home side!
Jose Mourinho makes five alterations from the XI that handed Watford their first defeat of the domestic season. With concerns about the pitch on the manager’s mind, he withdraws both full-backs, preferring the combination of Diogo Dalot and Shaw to Young and Antonio Valencia. In midfield, Fred returns to take the place of Fellaini while Lukaku sees both of his attacking partners changed as Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial are preferred to Jesse Lingard and Sanchez.
Gerardo Seoane makes three changes from the side that beat FC Schaffhausen 3-2 after extra-time in the Schweizer Pokal. David Von Ballmoos returns in goal replacing Marco Wolfli, while Kevin Mbabu gets the start at right-back over Thorsten Schick. In midfield, it’s a return to action for Sulejmani who gets the start over Ngamaleu on the left.
Manchester United Substitutes: Ashley Young, Eric Bailly, Andreas Pereira, Sergio Romero, Juan Mata, Marouane Fellaini, Alexis Sanchez.
It may be unfamiliar territory for their opponents, but Manchester United feel right at home in the group stage, despite a difficult draw that joins the Red Devils with Juventus, Valencia and Young Boys. United’s form has picked up of late, winning their last two Premier League contests – though they were defeated in their two matches prior to those wins.
Young Boys should be disappointed in conceding twice, but they can head into the tunnel with their heads held high. They’ve been no slouches in this match, frustrating Manchester United with their rigid midfield and defence, and scaring De Gea with a number of wonderfully hit strikes from distance. The home side should really have a goal to show for their efforts – the lack of link-up play between Hoarau and Assale their downfall. It doesn’t look good at the moment, but adjustments at half time could bring the home side back into the contest.
Manchester United enter the interval with a two-goal advantage thanks to a Paul Pogba double, the second coming a minute before half time from the penalty spot. Despite the lead, Mourinho can’t be too happy with his side, as they had real difficulty breaking down the home side’s organised defence. Most of the Red Devils’ positivity in attack has come down the flanks through Dalot and Shaw – with the latter winning the lead-doubling penalty - though that has caused issues defensively.
Young Boys’ first Champions League fixture did not end as they had hoped, but their effort and endeavour were certainly worthy of praise. Assale proved to be a handful all night and Sulejmani and Fassnacht did well on the flanks to expose the gaps – but their strong showing was for nought as they were unable to beat David De Gea in the United goal.
It was a routine second half for Manchester United who made it 3-0 through Anthony Martial 20 minutes after the restart to take the three points home with them. Paul Pogba was the difference between the two sides, with the captain scoring a double and assisting Martial’s third; meaning the World Cup winner directly contributed to every one of his side’s goals. Though United weren’t at their best, the gap in quality ultimately showed despite their defence looking somewhat suspect under the pressure of the home counter-attack.
That concludes our commentary of the Champions League fixture between Young Boys and Manchester United from the Stade de Suisse. We hope you enjoyed our coverage!
Young Boys will look to get back to winning ways on Sunday, though they are saddled with an extremely difficult tie against Basel at the Stade de Suisse. Manchester United host Wolves on Saturday, looking to make it four wins on the bounce in all competitions.
