63'
S. Pellissier has scored a goal for Chievo! Assist by M. Léris.
GOAL! Pellissier pulls one back for Chievo! The forward is able to run onto a loose ball just outside of the Milan penalty area and fire into the bottom left corner. Donnarumma stood no chance. 3-1.
Leris’ hopeful forward ball drops perfectly for Pellissier who is able to use the pace of the ball and strike it low into the corner of the goal. Leris has been Chievo’s biggest threat today.
62'
F. Barba gets yellow.
A cynical foul for pulling back Suso results in a yellow card for Barba.
56'
G. Bonaventura has scored a goal for AC Milan! Assist by Suso.
GOAL! Bonaventura makes it 3-0 to Milan. It’s beautiful work from Bonaventura who skips past his man with some body feints before dropping his shoulder and driving to the left where he fires a left-footed strike from outside the box into the bottom right corner of the net.
It’s Suso again who grabs his third assist of the game. The Spaniard plays a simple ball into the path of Bonaventura and the Italian is able to do the rest himself. Suso, however, has been unplayable.
54'
Calhanoglu picks the ball up 25 yards from goal in the centre of the pitch, fakes to shoot with his right before dragging the ball back onto his left. His strike from distance fails to test Sorrentino as it flies over the bar.

Chievo have started much brighter in this second half. They’ve been able to get control of the play and work the ball around nicely. Much better from them.
46'
Much like the first half ended, Depaoli is able to sweep the ball into the Milan area from the right touchline. The ball drops at the feet of Stepinski but his curling effort is deflected wide for a corner which is, in the end, well cleared.

HALF-TIME: AC MILAN 2-0 CHIEVO
45'
One added minute at the end of the first-half.
Depaoli drives a low cross into the centre of the penalty area where Birsa is free but his snatched first-time shot goes wide of Donnarumma’s right-hand post.
We're back underway at the San Siro. Milan get the second half started.
42'
Suso is continuing to find himself in acres of space in this half. He’s able to drive at Barba before cutting onto his favoured left foot and finding Calhanoglu. Some smart interplay between Calhanoglu and Kessie almost works an opening for Milan but Calhanoglu is deemed to have fouled Bani on the edge of the box.
39'
Leris works tirelessly down that left-side once more and is able to steal the ball away from Abate. After some good work, Leris tees up Stepinski who tries to do too much and the attack breaks down.
37'
Birsa is able to create the slightest of openings on the edge of the Milan box but his weak shot is easily blocked.
34'
G. Higuaín has scored a goal for AC Milan! Assist by Suso.
GOAL! Higuain nets his and Milan’s second of the afternoon. Suso is completely free in the centre of the pitch just outside the penalty area. The Chievo defence split and Suso slides through the simplest of passes to Higuain who is able to apply the finish. 2-0.
Chievo can’t contain Suso at the moment. They give the winger far too much time and space on the edge of their penalty area where he’s able to slide the ball into the path of Higuain. The Argentine forward is well placed in the centre of the Chievo box and easily slots the ball into the net.
32'
Leris finds some space down the left side and floats in a dangerous looking cross that is flicked towards goal by Stepinski but it’s easily claimed by Donnarumma.
27'
G. Higuaín has scored a goal for AC Milan! Assist by Suso.
GOAL! It’s that man again for Milan! Higuain is an expert from that range inside the box. Suso’s delivery from the right is perfect for Higuain to steer home into the bottom right corner after creating a yard of space for himself in the box.
Moments after Bonaventura misses for a wonderful ball from Suso, the Spaniard's perfect delivery from the right is this time turned home by Higuain.
22'
If not for some incredible defending from Depaoli, Milan would have found themselves one goal up from that earlier Calhanoglu chance. Milan are starting to press on again as they look for that opening goal.
16'
Musacchio commits a foul which is followed by a slight break in play due to an injury to Pellissier.
15'
It’s that man Suso again finding space on the edge of the Chievo box. This time Kessie finds the Spaniard who tries his luck from distance but sees his effort fly well over the top of the bar.
14'
OPENING! Rodriguez finds himself in acres of space on the left flank and strokes his cross with pace into a dangerous area. The ball isn’t dealt with but when it falls to Bonaventura, his strike is poorly hit and Chievo clear the danger.
12'
Suso has been able to find some pockets of space in the opening exchanges down the right-hand side early on. That will be something that Chievo will need to be wary of as the game progresses.
10'
Chievo have managed to get themselves into the game a little more in the last few minutes. Barba picks the ball up slightly left of centre in his own half and looks to play the ball long for Pellissier but Musacchio is able to take control of the situation. Better from Chievo.
8'
Birsa is able to create space to whip in a cross following a corner. Bani rises highest but his close-range header goes high and wide to the left of the Milan goal.
6'
After a sloppy header back to Donnarumma, the Italian is forced to concede a corner after diving low to his right to deny an own-goal. The corner which is swung in from the left is easily cleared.
5'
Milan are really starting to build up ahead of steam in the opening five minutes. Kessie tees the ball up for Bonaventura who strikes left-footed from outside the box but his effort goes wide to the right of the goal.
4'
Kessie drives forward from midfield before laying the ball off to Suso. After some neat interplay between the Milan attackers, Higuain opens up the space for a shot which is deflected marginally wide.
2'
Milan look to attack from the off. Suso whips a beautiful pass across the field into Rodriguez who looks to drive at Depaoli and wins a corner off the defender. The corner is an in-swinger from the left but is easily cleared.

We're off! Chievo get the game underway.

Chievo come into this having suffered back-to-back defeats against Udinese and Genoa respectively. Off the field problems result in Genoa being adrift by two points at the bottom of the table and seven points from safety. The ‘Flying Donkeys’, I Mussi Volanti, will be looking to channel a performance similar to that which earned them a scored draw against Roma several weeks ago.
The teams are out in the tunnel and kick-off will soon be upon us here at the San Siro.
AC Milan deservedly lead at the break by a couple of goals. Suso has been the biggest threat all afternoon so far as Chievo have really failed to get near him. Higuain has been able to find the net twice in the opening half with two smart finishes from Suso assists. Chievo have had their moments but haven’t been able to yet carve open a clear sight of goal.
The Rossoneri have endured a mixed start to the campaign in the opening seven fixtures. Milan have only suffered one defeat this season which came at the hands of Napoli where they conceded three second-half goals to lose 3-2. Goals from Franck Kessie, Suso and Samu Castillejo saw Milan beat Sassuolo 4-1 last time out. Today against Chievo, Milan will look to claim their third Serie A win of the season.
AC Milan will go into their next fixture full of confidence having recorded back-to-back wins. The Milan Derby is next up for Milan as they seek to continue to climb up the table. Milan have scored seven goals in their last two fixtures and will certainly have their eye on more goals when they face their local rivals. Milan’s win today sees them rise to 10th in the table and only two points off fourth.
That brings an end to our coverage of AC Milan against Chievo here at the San Siro. Thank you very much for joining us today. Goodbye!
Chievo are still without a win in Serie A this season as they remain bottom of the table. They face off against Atalanta in their next league meeting. Chievo will take some confidence from scoring against Milan this afternoon and will look to bounce back and start climbing the table next time out.
Chievo will need to get tighter to Suso in the upcoming second half as they seek to find a way back into this match. Leris and Birsa have been the brightest sparks for Chievo and it will be imperative that they are able to get them in the game as they look to mount a comeback. Milan will be very happy with that opening half and will look to continue in the same fashion in the second half.
