Description
63'
R. Lewandowski has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by Rafinha.
Rafinha found himself in all sorts of space on the left and squared to the back post to give Lewandowski the simple task of turning the ball home!
GOAL!! Lewandowski makes it 2-0 to Bayern! AEK's resistance is well and truly broken now. The Bundesliga giants stroke the ball around the penalty area with ease, moving their opponents around before Rafinha squares for Lewandowski to tap into an empty net!
62'
L. Goretzka enters the game and replaces J. Rodríguez.
James is immediately substituted off for Goretzka following that goal.
61'
Javi Martínez has scored a goal for Bayern Munich!
GOAL!! BAYERN MUNICH ARE AHEAD! It's finally 1-0 to the visitors, and the goal comes from an unlikely source! Hummels plays a square ball to Robben following a corner, and the Dutchman's shot is blocked, but falls kindly for Martinez, who volleys home emphatically from inside the box! It's 1-0 to Bayern!
60'
Robben and James link up well down the right and win a corner after some neat interplay inside the box.
56'
Klonaridis finds himself in an advanced position on the right wing and shows good feet to keep possession, before eventually having to settle for a throw-in.
54'
Robben cuts in from the right onto his left foot in trademark fashion, but the contact on his shot from a central position is scruffy, and the ball rolls harmlessly through to the goalkeeper.
51'
Gnabry slides in at the byline as he attempts to keep a throughball in play, but he's unlucky as it just runs behind for a goal-kick.
49'
The pattern of the second half seems to be much the same as the first, with Bayern seeing plenty of the ball but struggling to work clear-cut chances in behind a packed AEK defence.
47'
Bayern come agonisingly close to getting in behind, but Lewandowski is marshalled well down the left and James' dinked ball into the box towards Thiago is headed clear.
46'
And we're back underway for the start of the second half!
45' +1
HALF-TIME: AEK ATHENS 0-0 BAYERN MUNICH
44'
Bakasetas has looked like AEK's most dangerous outlet down the left, but he's not being given a great deal of time and space to work with.
42'
AEK get out down the left but are held up in the corner and can't work a presentable opportunity.
40'
The corner count rises further in Bayern's favour, but AEK have dealt reasonably well with what's been thrown at them so far.
36'
Kimmich whips in another excellent corner, and Lewandowski has his head in his hands as he fails to connect with the ball from a good position. Bayern are dominant, but they haven't been clinical.
34'
Bayern have settled back into a comfortable spell of possession. They're being afforded all sorts of space, and try to win the ball back quickly when they lose it.
25'
Gnabry's speculative strike from long-range spins behind for a corner, and Barkas is quick off his line to punch the delivery clear.
23'
A long-ball forward from the resulting free-kick almost finds Thiago in behind, but it's just a yard ahead of him. The Spaniard had made a clever run, and the ball to him was so close to being perfect.
16'
Gnabry wins another corner down the left, and the resulting delivery is fumbled under pressure by Barkas, but he gathers at the second attempt.
14'
AEK are being suffocated and starved of possession. They look to break as quickly and directly as possible when they do get on the ball, but they have yet to truly threaten.
10'
Gnabry shows quick feet as he runs at Bakakis, feinting one side and then another before whipping a teasing ball across the face of goal that Robben just can't get a touch on, before Kimmich earns a corner on the opposite side.
9'
Bayern pen AEK right back into their own penalty area, but they just can't find a way through a sea of yellow and black shirts.
7'
Robben presses Hult into trouble near the corner flag and the left-back gives away possession with a panicked clearance, but Robben can't quite find a team-mate and the attack breaks down. The Germans start again with Martinez on the halfway line.
5'
Bakakis runs into Rafinha as he tries to maraud down the wing, and Bayern launch a quick counter-attack down the same side, but Gnabry's low delivery into the box is eventually hacked clear.
3'
Bayern dominate the ball early on, with the hosts rarely getting the chance to venture outside their half.

We're underway in Athens!
Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the Champions League Group E fixture between AEK Athens and Bayern Munich at the Athens Olympic Stadium.
The line-ups are out and we'll start with the home side.
Bayern Munich substitutes: Jerome Boateng, Leon Goretzka, David Alaba, Thomas Muller, Sandro Wagner, Sven Ulreich, Renato Sanches
AEK Athens XI (4-2-3-1): Vasilios Barkas; Michalis Bakakis, Vasilios Lampropoulos, Dmytro Chygrynskiy, Niklas Hult; Konstantinos Galanopoulos, Andre Simoes; Anastasios Bakasetas, Viktor Klonaridis, Petros Mantalos; Ezequiel Ponce
Bayern Munich XI (4-3-3): Manuel Neuer; Joshua Kimmich, Niklas Sule, Mats Hummels, Rafinha; James Rodriguez, Javi Martinez, Thiago Alcantara; Arjen Robben, Robert Lewandowski, Serge Gnabry
Bayern Munich have dominated without scoring in Athens so far, and Barkas has been busy without really being tested. Thiago had the best chance of the half but got caught between passing and shooting and rolled the ball out from a promising position, and Robben's cut-back to Lewandowski was cut out on the stroke of half-time. AEK have been compact and kept numbers back, and have managed to deal well with a myriad of Bayern corners. However, they've lacked options going forward and have struggled to create any meaningful scoring opportunities. It's goalless at the break!
Bayern will have to move the ball with more urgency and quality in the second half and show a great deal more cutting edge if they are to avoid another disappointing result, whilst AEK will likely look to keep things tight and defend in numbers, and hope for a goal on the break. The hosts will be much happier with the way the game has gone so far.
AEK host Aris in domestic action next, while Bayern face a trip to 12th placed Mainz as they look to close the gap to league leaders Borussia Dortmund.
That's all from us, we hope you enjoyed the game. Thank you for joining our coverage, until next time, goodbye!
