Demirbay has been shown a yellow card after the final whistle, after protesting against the ending of the game. Hoffenheim feel that there should be a few more seconds to be played, but the referee calls time as they mount another attack.

GOOOAAALLL! Hoffenheim have got their equaliser, it's 3-3! To their credit they've kept on pushing forward in search of a goal and they've finally got the breakthrough, Joelinton with the goal. The substitute smashes the ball into the top corner after a low ball across the six-yard box by Schulz. Could they now go on and win it?

77'
Manchester City are currently beating Shaktar Donetsk 3-0 in the other game in Group F. However, Hoffenheim will remain bottom of the group as it stands.
75'
The game has settled down in the last five minutes or so, with Lyon taking control of possession and slowing the game down as they try to see the match out. Victory here would be an excellent result and see them remain top of Group F.
73'
R. Nelson enters the game and replaces E. Bičakčić.
Here is the Hoffenheim substitution, with Bicakcic coming off and he has been replaced by Nelson.
72'
Nelson looks like he is about to come onto the pitch, the Arsenal loanee has been in superb form this season for club and country.
70'
Good effort! Kramaric has been the greatest attacking threat for Hoffenheim tonight and he went close to getting his hat-trick. His drilled effort from the edge of the box could've quite easily of sneaked into the bottom corner, but Lopes was alert and made a good save.
69'
The Lyon goal came just a couple of minutes after the excellent chance at the other end for Hoffenheim, showing that you really need to take your opportunities as they could come back to haunt you.
67'
M. Depay has scored a goal for Lyon! Assist by H. Aouar.
GOOOAAALLL! Lyon now lead 3-2! What a game this is turning out to be, the visitors have come from behind to now lead and put themselves in control. It's a wonderful individual goal by Depay after a long hopeful ball comes his way, the winger makes a darting run which confuses his marker who messes up his clearance. Depay then runs clear on goal and slides the ball under Baumann and into the far corner of the net.
Aouar with the long ball over the top of the Hoffenheim defence, which they failed to deal with and Depay took advantage.
64'
The game has become very stretched since the Lyon equalising goal, with both teams breaking forward quickly on the break. It's end-to-end stuff.
60'

Hoffenheim make their first change of the game following the equalising goal, with Szalai the man coming off and he is replaced by Joelinton.
59'
T. Ndombélé has scored a goal for Lyon! Assist by B. Traoré.
Traore spots the run of Ndombele, which Depay dummies, catching the Hoffenheim defence out as the midfielder gets into the box very easily, before powering his shot into the goal.
GOOOAAALLL! Lyon level the scoreline, it's 2-2! Traore plays a lovely ball into space for Ndombele who races into the box and fires an effort at goal from a tight angle which appears to catch Baumann by surprise as the keeper fails to react fast enough, allowing the ball to bounce off his arm and into the back of the net. He should perhaps be going better at his near post.
58'
It looks like Lyon might be about to make some changes here, they need to do something if they are to get anything out of the game because they've been second best so far in this half.
56'
GOOD SAVE! Lopes is called into action to deny Kaderabek as he broke into the penalty area and fired an effort at goal from a tight angle. However, the Lyon keeper made himself big and pulled off a good stop.
53'
Lyon haven't really got going in this second half yet, they are enjoying more possession, but much of it is in the middle of the pitch as Hoffenheim are pressing high and not allowing them time and space in their half.
51'
Depay has been pretty quiet tonight for Lyon, he hasn't been able to get on the ball much and the Hoffenheim defence have done a very good job of keeping him out of the danger areas.
47'
A. Kramarić has scored a goal for Hoffenheim! Assist by K. Demirbay.
GOOOAAALLL! Hoffenheim lead 2-1! Kramaric with his second goal of the game and it's a superbly taken goal. Demirbay drills an excellent ball into the box, which Kramaric takes down on his chest, then fires the ball into the back of the net, giving Lopes no chance of saving it. The perfect start to the second half by the hosts.
Demirbay picked Kramaric out beautifully with the cross into the box, but Kramaric still had it all to do with the finish.

The second half is underway!

HALF-TIME: HOFFENHEIM 1-1 LYON
45'
There will be a minimum of one minute added time played.
42'
The atmosphere is excellent inside the Rhein-Neckar-Arena, with the home supporters really getting behind their side and who can blame them after this positive first-half performance. It's been an entertaining game all round with plenty of chances for both teams.
40'
There isn't long left on the clock until the half time whistle now, can either side score another goal before the break?
38'
Hoffenheim are really threatening to score another goal before the break to put themselves ahead in this game. They've had a couple of corners in quick succession and some half chances at goal which Lopes has had to be alert to and make some decent saves.
34'
The hosts deserve their equalising goal as they've looked threatening in attack and created some good chances. There could be plenty more goals coming in this game if it continues in the same fashion.
32'
A. Kramarić has scored a goal for Hoffenheim!
GOOOAAALLL! Hoffenheim score an equalising goal to make it 1-1! Kramaric started the move off down the left, the ball then finds it way out to the right-hand side of the penalty area. Poor defending from Lyon allows a free header to come all the way across to Kramaric who was unmarked at the back post, he then smashes the ball into the back of the net from just a couple of yards out.
30'
Half an hour gone here and Lyon hold the advantage, with Traore bagging the only goal of the game so far. If they can get all three points tonight it will be a huge boost to their qualification chances.
28'
Hoffenheim had been playing much better in the last 10 minutes, as shown by those goalscoring chances. However, they've gifted Lyon the opening goal, so they'll have to come from behind if they are to get anything from this game.
26'
B. Traoré has scored a goal for Lyon!
GOOOAAALLL! Lyon lead 1-0 after a terrible defensive mistake by Vogt right on the edge of his own penalty area. Baumann played a quick goal-kick to the centre-back but he was put under heavy pressure straight away from Traore. The centre-back panics and tries to pass the ball back to his keeper but he doesn't put enough on the pass and Traore takes advantage, nicking the ball away and sliding the ball past the onrushing Baumann. A real gift for Lyon.
25'
He had to get that right! Lopes comes rushing out his goal to slide and gather the ball after Belfodil almost gets on the end of a through ball that split the Lyon defence.
18'
Good chance! A good cross comes into the box from the left, which has to be punched away by Lopes and he gets there just in time. However, the rebound then falls to Belfodil on the edge of the penalty area, but he fires his effort high over the crossbar.
16'
The game has settled down slightly now, after a frantic opening few minutes in front of the Hoffenheim goal. The hosts are struggling to deal with the fast Lyon counter-attacks which are stretching the game.
14'
Lyon certainly look the more dangerous side in the final third, with Traore causing a lot of problems with his pace and trickery. The Hoffenheim defence are struggling to keep him quiet at the moment.
12'
Decent chance! Hoffenheim win the first corner of the game. The ball is whipped into the box and Lyon fail to deal with the danger, allowing Vogt a shooting opportunity, but his shot is blocked by Marcelo and then gathered by Lopes.
9'
ANOTHER LYON CHANCE! The visitors come close to taking the lead again and once gain they should be doing better. It came from a quick counter after finding space down the right. Traore cut inside and tried to work space inside the box for the shot himself but he gets crowded out and the ball falls perfectly to Aouar, who tries to slide the ball into the back of the net, but he is denied by an excellent recovering block by Akpoguma.
7'
Kramaric with the first Hoffenheim effort at goal after the winger cut inside from the left and tried to curl the ball into the top right-hand corner. However, he got too much power on the ball and it flies high over the Lyon goal.
5'
Lyon are starting to show their excellent attacking qualities now, spurred on by the chance a few moments ago when they should've taken the lead.
2'
This is a good spell of early possession for the hosts, just settling into the game and getting plenty of early touches on the ball.

Hoffenheim are looking to pick up their first Champions League victory, after an opening 2-2 draw with Shaktar Donetsk, before then suffering a 2-1 defeat at home to Manchester City. Therefore the German side sit bottom of Group F. The hosts come into the game on the back of a 3-1 victory over Nurnberg at the weekend, after suffering three consecutive defeats in their previous games.
Lyon also come into the game on the back of a victory at the weekend, as they beat Nimes 2-0 which ended a three-game winless streak. They drew against Nantes and Shakhtar Donetsk, before suffering a 5-0 defeat at Paris Saint-Germain. As it stands, Lyon top Group F after they pulled off an away victory over Manchester City, to make it four points from a possible six.
The teams are out here at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena and kick-off is just a few minutes away. Stay tuned for all of the match action!
Hoffenheim improved after going a goal behind, with Belfodil and Szalai both having excellent chances to score but they were unable to put the finishing touch on fine moves. However, the equalising goal eventually came through Kramaric, to make the score level at the break, despite chances for the hosts late on in the half. Let's hope for more of the same in the second half!
The referee ends an entertaining first half of football, which somehow ended with just two goals scored after both teams had multiple chances to score more. Lyon started the better in the opening stages, stretching the hosts on the counter-attack and Traore hit the post from close range. However, their goal came from a big defensive mistake by Vogt, as the hosts skipper took too much time on the ball and Traore capitalised, showing great composure to beat Baumann as well, but it was a moment to forget for the centre-back.
That's all from us tonight folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
A point moves Hoffenheim off the bottom of Group F, after Shaktar suffered a 3-0 defeat at home to Manchester City who move top and Lyon drop down a spot to second.
