And Leipzig gets us underway at Celtic Park!
Hello and welcome to live coverge of the Europa League clash between Celtic and RB Leipzig at Celtic Park.
Leipzig are enjoying more success in Europe than their opponents, winning two of their three games and sitting in second place. Since their 2-0 win over Celtic, the German side are unbeaten, a run which has moved them into fourth place in the Bundesliga, only five points behing leaders Borussia Dortmund.
Celtic XI (4-2-3-1): Craig Gordon; Kieran Tierney, Filip Benkovic, Dedryck Boyata, Mikael Lustig; Callum McGregor, Tomas Rogic; Scott Sinclair, Ryan Christie, James Forrest; Odsonne Edouard.
Celtic subs: Lewis Morgan, Jack Hendry, Anthony Ralston, Jonny Hayes, Scott Bain, Kristoffer Ajer, Youssouf Mulumbu.
Leipzig XI (4-3-3): Yvon Mvogo; Willi Orban, Marcelo Saracchi, Nordi Mukiele, Dayotchanculle Upamecano; Stefan Ilsanker, Konrad Laimer, Marcel Sabitzer; Jean-Kevin Augustin, Bruma, Matheus Cunha.
Leipzig subs: Diego Demme, Lukas Klostermann, Marcel Halstenberg, Erik Majetshk, Ibrahima Konate, Kevin Kampl, Marius Muller.
Celtic have struggled in their Europa League campaign so far, only registering one win in their three games which came on the first match day, and currently sit third in Group B with only three points. Since losing their last European game two weeks ago to Leipzig, though, the home side have been in great form, winning all three matches, scoring 13 goals in that time and conceding none.
The players are out on the pitch now, following the 10 minute light show that lit up the stadium before the kick-off at Celtic Park.
Celtic know that they need a result in this game to give them a realistic chance of qualifying for the knockout rounds of the Europa League, and if they continue to play the way they did in the first half, then they have a good chance of making that happen. Bruma has looked a threat for Leipzig in the first half though, and the the Celtic defenders could be in for a tough second half if his team find a way to get him involved more often.
Despite a bright start from Leipzig, Celtic scored an early goal that injected their players with confidence they didn't seem to have when the whistle was blown. They dominated after that and Leipzig struggled to get a proper foothold in the game. The away side did manage a couple of half chances, but they didn't trouble Gordon in Celtic's goal.
That's it for tonight, goodbye!
This result means Celtic could still qualify for the knockout stages as they now have six points and are level with Leipzig, and only stay in third due to their inferior goal difference. This also extends their winning run to four, which will fill them with confidence when they face Livingston in the Scottish Premiership at the weekend. Leipzig also have a good chance of making it past the group stages despite the loss, but will be under more pressure to win their remaining games if they want to make sure that happens.
