The teams are out and kick-off will soon be upon us here at the Emirates Stadium.
Wolves have been good value for their lead as they go in at the break one goal to the good. The hosts have struggled to deal with the pace of both Costa and Cavaleiro on the counter-attack for the majority of the first half. Xhaka’s sloppy piece of play after 13 minutes allowed Cavaleiro to pounce and give the visitors a 1-0 following his neat finish from five yards. Arsenal looked to respond, but Wolves defended resolutely to hold their lead.
The home side will look to turn their vast amount of possession into goal-scoring opportunities in the second half. Aubameyang and Lacazette have been kept quiet by the opposition defenders but the hosts will need them to deliver as they look to turn things around in the second half. Wolves will look to continue the second half as they finished the first. Costa and Cavaleiro will seek to continue causing Arsenal issues on the break.
Arsenal travel to Bournemouth next time out as they look to return to winning ways following three draws in their last three matches. Wolves, meanwhile, host Huddersfield at Molineux and will be aiming to secure all three points to continue their fine start to life in the Premier League.
