The fourth official has signalled for three additional minutes at the end of the second half.
88'
S. Moore enters the game and replaces J. Villafaña.
Another late change for the United States as Moore replaces Villafana.
87'
Rooney has certainly looked lively since his introduction and has proved he still has enough in the tank. Shooting opportunities have been at a premium but he has made a number of decent passes.
85'
Pulisic tries to charge through at goal but sees his run blocked by a group of England defenders, which leads the Dortmund man to appeal for a penalty. However, the referee is not interested and waves play on.
84'
The visitors are doing all they can to provide some sort of spark heading into the latter stages of the game but Pulisic is the only player who has caused England problems so far.
82'
England are now cruising towards what is a deserved victory. It has been a fine performance from Southgate's side but, in truth, the United States have not offered much of a test.
79'
M. Rashford enters the game and replaces C. Wilson.
Wilson's goal is his last contribution to the game as he makes way with Rashford taking his spot.
77'
C. Wilson has scored a goal for England! Assist by F. Delph.
GOOOAL! 3-0! Delph curls an inviting cross into the six-yard box where Wilson gets to the ball ahead of Brooks and stabs home a debut goal. He has worked hard all evening and has now claimed his reward.
A fine delivery from Delph, who is now playing on the left side of defence after Chilwell's departure earlier in the half.
76'
S. Lletget enters the game and replaces W. McKennie.
K. Saief enters the game and replaces T. Weah.
Lletget also takes to the field for the finale at Wembley, with McKennie making way.
Further changes for the United States, the first of which sees Saief take the spot of Weah.

Description
73'
Alexander-Arnold has been in the thick of it in the game, scoring a superb goal but facing a tough challenge up against Pulisic. He continues to bomb down the wings, although his charges forward have been blocked in recent minutes.
71'
The fans think for a moment that they will see what they came for as Rooney twists and turns on the edge of the box but his left-footed effort is easily dealt with by Guzan.
70'
R. Loftus-Cheek enters the game and replaces H. Winks.
K. Acosta enters the game and replaces W. Trapp.
The United States also make another change as Acosta replaces Trapp.
Another change in midfield for England as Winks is replaced by Loftus-Cheek.
68'
England seem to have lost their rhythm since the flurry of changes and the loss of Lingard has taken the sting out of the game, with Sancho seeing less of the ball.
65'
Fine play by Rooney as he flicks a pass towards Alexander-Arnold but the Liverpool man is unable to keep the ball in play.
63'
Pulisic wins a corner after stealing the ball on the byline off Alexander-Arnold but the delivery is punched away by McCarthy.
62'
T. Adams enters the game and replaces J. Green.
First change of the game for the USA as 19-year-old Adams earns his eighth cap, taking the place of Green.
60'
A decent spell in possession for the United States but they are unable to create an opportunity that would put McCarthy's goal under threat.
58'
W. Rooney enters the game and replaces J. Lingard.
Southgate calls for a triple change for England, the first of which sees Henderson take the place of Alli.
The third change is the one that many came to see, as Rooney enters the game for a final appearance for England. Lingard is the player to make way.
Dier has also entered the frame, replacing the energetic Chilwell.
57'
J. Henderson enters the game and replaces D. Alli.
E. Dier enters the game and replaces B. Chilwell.
56'
Alexander-Arnold fires a corner towards the back post but he puts too much on his delivery, which bounces behind for a throw in on the far side.
54'
England are working their way through the gears again as Chilwell cuts a pass back across goal towards the penalty spot where Lingard was lurking but his shot is blocked.
52'
Lingard continues to be England's brightest outlet but his intended pass through to Sancho was intercepted, with Wilson then penalised for a foul on Brooks.
50'
Good tracking back from Trapp quells the latest England attack, where Sancho was pushing forward with plenty of intent and looked to be driving into a position where he could try to test Guzan.
48'
Wilson is unable to control a long ball forward inside the box and Lingard then stabs an effort over the bar. A bright start to the second period from the Three Lions.
46'
A. McCarthy enters the game and replaces J. Pickford.
Change between the sticks for England at the break as Southampton's McCarthy replaces Pickford to earn his international debut.
The United States get the action back underway at Wembley.
45'
HALF-TIME: ENGLAND 2-0 UNITED STATES
43'
Edging towards the interval and the sting of the game has been removed in the past 10 minutes or so. England seem to have taken their foot off the gas since their goals.
41'
We have not seen too much of Paris Saint-Germain starlet Weah so far this evening as he is being kept quiet by a resilient England defence.
39'
Another half-chance for Wilson inside the area but his latest shot is not a real test for Guzan at his near post.
37'
The United States are starting to show some positive signs moving forward but Pickford is yet to be truly tested, making a comfortable save to palm away Green's effort from distance.
35'
It will be interesting to see if England continue in this sort of style in the second period, where there is likely to be a number of changes to the side.
33'
The visitors look completely shellshocked by a bright and energetic England performance. It may only be a friendly but Southgate's side are certainly not interested in any pleasantries.
29'
A quickfire double from England, who are enjoying themselves and are in full stride. The United States, excluding the chance for Pulisic moments before Lingard's opening goal, have been unable to offer anything in the final third.
27'
T. Alexander-Arnold has scored a goal for England! Assist by J. Sancho.
GOOOOAL! 2-0! England hit again immediately! Wilson is tackled inside the area but the ball falls kindly for Sancho, who taps a pass to Alexander-Arnold and the full-back hits a fierce strike into the far corner that Guzan can do nothing about.
Slick play from Sancho and he had the awareness to find Alexander-Arnold in a position where he could have gone for goal himself.
25'
J. Lingard has scored a goal for England! Assist by D. Alli.
WHAT A GOAL! 1-0 England! Lingard opens the scoring with a stunning strike! Alli wins the ball back in midfield to spark an attack, feeding a pass to Lingard on the edge of the area to shape up before curling perfectly beyond the reach of Guzan.
Excellent play from Alli to win the ball back before combining with Chilwell, who has been impressive so far, before cutting a fine pass to Lingard.
20'
Chilwell curls a delivery into the middle but it is easily dealt with, forcing England to start again from the back.
19'
Trapp is penalised for a high foot on Alli, which hands England a free-kick in a dangerous position.
17'
England are pushed very high up the field and are limiting the space the United States have to work with, which is leading to a nervy performance from their defence.
15'
We have seen nothing of note from the USA so far, who remain pegged back inside their own half and are struggling to establish a foothold in the game.
13'
Lingard has been England's brightest spark so far and he gets a sight at goal as he fires a fierce attempt that is saved by Guzan.
12'
Certainly an impressive start from a largely inexperienced England side under the lights at Wembley. It has certainly encouraged the home fans but there is still a lot of empty seats.
7'
Bright play down the left as Alli and Sancho combine but the latter is crowded out by the USA defence after bursting into the box.
3'
England have started on the front foot and have managed to keep the United States penned back within their own half in the opening minutes.
1'
We are underway at Wembley, where England get the action started.
Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the international friendly between England and the United States at Wembley.
England are still flying high from their World Cup exploits earlier this year and received a huge confidence boost with the Nations League victory over Spain last month. Meanwhile, the United States are venturing into a new era which is shown by the fact that there are only two players in their squad over the age of 27.
England XI (4-2-3-1): Jordan Pickford; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Michael Keane, Lewis Dunk, Ben Chilwell; Harry Winks, Fabian Delph; Jadon Sancho, Dele Alli, Jesse Lingard; Callum Wilson.
England subs: Jack Butland, Alex McCarthy, Marcus Rashford, Eric Dier, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Jordan Henderson, Harry Kane, Wayne Rooney, John Stones, Kyle Walker, Ross Barkley, Raheem Sterling.
USA XI (4-2-3-1): Brad Guzan; DeAndre Yedlin, Matt Miazga, John Brooks, Jorge Villafana; Weston McKennie, Wil Trapp; Christian Pulisic, Julian Green, Timothy Weah; Bobby Wood.
USA subs: Ethan Horvath, Marco Delgado, Sebastian Lletget, Kellyn Acosta, Reggie Cannon, Shaquell Moore, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Kenny Saief, Tyler Adams.
The two teams are heading onto the field ahead of kick-off, with a special welcome to England's all-time leading scorer Rooney ahead of his international farewell.
An impressive and dominating performance so far from England, who hold a two-goal advantage at the interval courtesy of Lingard and Alexander-Arnold's efforts. The United States have had some bright flashes, most notably Pulisic's one-on-one with Pickford when the game was still goalless, but they will be disappointed.
England will look to keep things going after the restart but that may be difficult with changes being on the cards, one of which will be the introduction of Rooney for his 120th cap. Interim USA coach Dave Sarachan is also likely to make changes as he looks to provide his side with some additional spark.
England now turn their attention towards the UEFA Nations League finale against Croatia on Sunday where everything is to play for, with both a spot in the final and relegation still possible. The United States tackle Italy in another international friendly next Tuesday, where they will aim for a much better performance.
Thanks for joining our coverage today. Until next time, goodnight.
