Hello and welcome to our live commentary of today's Premier League match between Bournemouth and Arsenal at the Vitality Stadium.
Bournemouth won't be obliging hosts though. The Cherries have had a strong start to the season themselves, leaving them just outside the European places, and Eddie Howe's attractive side have only lost once at home so far this season. If they beat Arsenal today, Bournemouth might start getting ideas of emulating Burnley's run to seventh last season.
BOURNEMOUTH (4-4-2): Asmir Begovic; Simon Francis, Nathan Aké, Steve Cook, Charlie Daniels; David Brooks, Dan Gosling, Jefferson Lerma, Ryan Fraser; Joshua King, Callum Wilson.
SUBS: Artur Boruc, Tyrone Mings, Andrew Surman, Lewis Cook, Lys Mousset, Junior Stanislas, Jermain Defoe.
ARSENAL (3-4-3): Bernd Leno; Rob Holding, Shkodran Mustafi, Sokratis; Hector Bellerin, Granit Xhaka (c), Lucas Torreira, Sead Kolasinac; Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Alex Iwobi, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
SUBS: Petr Cech, Matteo Guendouzi, Mohamed Elneny, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Özil, Eddie Nketiah.
The two teams are heading out onto the Vitality Stadium pitch. Bournemouth are wearing their iconic red and black stripes, while Arsenal will play in their suitably seasonal mint green away kit.
Arsenal will be looking to regain momentum in the Premier League. After being held to draws at home by Liverpool and Wolves before the international break, the Gunners' great run of form this autumn fizzled out, leaving them in fifth outside the Champions League spots. Unai Emery will want his side to show that they can stay in touch with the chasing pack, given Tottenham's 3-1 victory over Chelsea yesterday.
All square for now then, and that sets us up perfectly for a great second half. Bournemouth had a fantastic start and really should have gone a goal up after Brooks' goal was incorrectly ruled offside. Arsenal scored themselves through Lerma's own goal and took charge of the game, only for the Cherries to equalise on the brink of half-time.
That result leaves Arsenal five points clear of Everton in fifth in the Premier League, looking up to Chelsea one point above them in the last Champions League spot. Bournemouth stay in eighth after their third consecutive league defeat.
Arsenal will now turn their attention to their away game at Vorskla in the Europa League mid-week, albeit with their knockout qualification already sewn up. Bournemouth face a daunting trip away to Man City next Saturday. That's all for now. Goodbye!
