Club Brugge, meanwhile, will be seeking revenge on the home side having lost to them earlier in the campaign. A win tonight could leave them with a chance of securing qualification to the next round on the final matchday of the group stage.
The teams are out and kick-off will soon be upon us here at the Signal Iduna Park.
Chances have been few and far between in the opening first half of football, but Dortmund have had the better moments. Pulisic had the chance to open the scoring after nine minutes, but his left-footed effort was easily saved by Horvath. The home side missed another good opportunity when Reus put his effort wide when one-on-one with Horvath after 31 minutes. Brugge have defended resolutely and will be pleased with the score at the break.
The hosts have dominated possession but have so far failed to turn that into goals. Reus and Pulisic have both looked dangerous down either side and have been causing Brugge problems which is something that Dortmund will look to continue in the second half. The visitors have looked dangerous at times on the break but will need to get more players up and around Wesley in the second half if they are to create clear-cut opportunities.
That brings an end to our coverage of the Champions League fixture between Borussia Dortmund and Club Brugge at Signal Iduna Park. Thank you very much for joining us. Good night!
Borussia Dortmund travel to Monaco next with the top spot in Group A still up for grabs following Atletico Madrid's earlier win against Monaco. Club Brugge, meanwhile, host Atleti on the final matchday of the group stage.
