Wolves come into this clash without a win in their last seven Premier League matches with their most recent defeat coming to Cardiff last time out. Chelsea, however, will be looking to keep the pressure on at the top of the table having beaten Fulham by two goals at the weekend.
Following a bright start to life back in the Premier League, the home side have struggled in recent weeks to maintain their early season form. With their last win coming at the back end of September against Southampton, Wolves will be hoping for all three points this evening. Chelsea, meanwhile, have enjoyed a brilliant start to the new campaign and have lost only once under their new manager, Maurizio Sarri.
The teams are out and kick-off will soon be upon us here at Molineux.
The hosts will be disappointed to be going in one goal down at the break following that opening half of football. Loftus-Cheek gave the visitors the lead when his right-footed strike from the right side of the box was deflected beyond Patricio by Coady after 18 minutes. Fabregas produced a moment of defensive brilliance to deny Gibbs-White before, moments late, Coady denied Willian when the Brazilian was one-on-one with Patricio. Chelsea lead by one goal at the break.
Wolves have looked dangerous on the break down the wings through the likes of Doherty, Vinagre and Jota at numerous times during the first half. They have found plenty of space down the flanks and that will be something that they will look to exploit in order to draw level. For Chelsea, meanwhile, it has been Hazard at the heart of everything positive for the visitors. He will be crucial in the second half as Chelsea look to add to their lead.
Wolves travel to Newcastle next time out as they look to build on their win this evening. Chelsea, meanwhile, host Manchester City at Stamford Bridge as they look to return to winning ways.
That brings an end to our coverage of the Premier League fixture between Wolves and Chelsea at Molineux. Thank you very much for joining us. Goodbye!
