A couple more yellow cards are shown, Kolasinac is the fourth Arsenal player to be booked.

Minute
Description
74'
An away goal for Rennes would still force extra-time and potentially penalties, there is just over 15 minutes remaining on the clock. Can they do it?
73'
P. Aubameyang gets yellow.
Aubameyang is booked for his goal celebration.
72'
P. Aubameyang has scored a goal for Arsenal! Assist by S. Kolašinac.
Kolasinac is fed through down the left by Mkhitaryan and he looks up and spots the run of Aubameyang in the box, who gets away from his marker and makes no mistakes with the finish.
GOOOAAALLL! Aubameyang with his second goal of the game, to make it 3-0 and 4-3 on aggregate! Kolasinac with a perfect cross into the path of the striker, who just manages to stay onside and then slots the ball past Koubek and into the back of the net.
71'
CLOSE! Iwobi almost scores with his first touch of the game! The midfielder goes close with a shot from the edge of the box, just inches wide of the far post.
70'
H. Mkhitaryan enters the game and replaces M. Özil.
A. Iwobi enters the game and replaces A. Lacazette.
A. Hunou enters the game and replaces C. Grenier.
Here is the first change of a double substitution, with Ozil coming off the pitch and he has been replaced by Mkhitaryan.
Rennes also make a change and it's an attacking substitution from the visitors, as Hunou comes on for Grenier.
The second substitution sees Lacazette replaced by Iwobi, perhaps a tactial change with the Frenchman on a yellow card already.
68'
It looks like Arsenal are ready to make their first changes of the game, they haven't been able to control the game as well as they did in the first half and perhaps need some fresh legs to see the match out.
63'
Still no changes yet for either side, it will be interesting to see how long Rennes wait to make a substitution given that they need to score. However, they have improved massively from the first half, but are lacking quality up front.
61'
Great tackle! Kolasinac with a perfectly timed tackle to block Sarr's cross into the six-yard box after Rennes played some good, quick football down the right wing. He had to time that one just right.
59'
Aubameyang does well down the left wing, beats two players and gets to the byline, he tries to pull the ball back to Lacazette in the middle, but the pass doesn't have enough pace on it and Rennes clear the danger.
57'
The game is struggling to flow naturally at the moment as both sides are committing a few too many fouls and it's breaking up proceedings.
55'
C. Grenier gets yellow.
Grenier is booked for his part in the protests at the Lacazette decision.
The Rennes players are surrounding the referee, urging him to show Lacazette a second yellow card after his late challenge on Bensebaini right on the touchline. However, the Frenchman is just given a warning by the referee, perhaps his final warning.
53'
The second half is much more open, with Rennes pushing higher up the pitch and showing more attacking intent. But it's very stop-start at the moment.
51'
Ramsey is down again after a late challenge on him in midfield, but this time he looks like he can shake the injury off.
46'
The second half is underway!
45' +4
HALF-TIME: ARSENAL 2-0 RENNES (3-3 on aggregate)
45' +2
Rennes are pushing players forward in search of a goal, but they aren't threatening the Arsenal defence who have had very little to do so far. They are keeping their shape well and preventing the visitors from getting into the penalty area.
45'
There will be a minimum of four minutes added time played.
44'
Torreira is currently getting warmed up on the sidelines, perhaps a sign that Ramsey hasn't yet ran off this knock he's picked up.
41'
Just a few minutes remaining on the clock until the break now, can Arsenal extend their lead or will Rennes pull one back ahead of the half-time whistle?
39'
Good effort! Ramsey should be doing better from there. The midfielder is allowed far too much time and space on the edge of the penalty area and gets a shot away, but it's straight at Koubek who makes a comfortable save. Either side of the keeper and that might of been heading into the back of the net.
37'
The away supporters are still making their voices heard over in the far corner of the Emirates, they haven't given up on their side just yet. There's still plenty of football left to play.
35'
Decent effort! Aubameyang attempts a spectacular overhead kick after Ozil curls the ball into the box, but the ball bounces off his shin and flies well wide of the Rennes goal.
31'
A. Lacazette gets yellow.
Poor challenge! It's a late and high tackle by Lacazette, he dives into it and catches Andre late. The referee shows no hesitation in showing him a yellow card.
30'
Andre is perhaps lucky not to get booked after he trips Aubameyang down the right wing, as the striker was breaking away on the counter-attack.
26'
The pace of the Arsenal attackers is really troubling the visitors, they are unable to cope with the intensity and fast movement by Lacazette and Aubameyang.
24'
The visitors are starting to string a few passes together and are playing much better, but it's all in the middle of the pitch and not threatening the Arsenal goal.
22'
Rennes have their first corner of the game, can they create a goalscoring opportunity from here in front of their supporters? No. The ball into the box is overhit and flies high over everyone.
18'
Mexer gets yellow.
The first yellow card of the game is shown to Mexer, after the defender clattered into the back of Maitland-Niles.
17'
The second goal has really taken the wind out of the Rennes players and supporters, who were full of confidence ahead of the game. They now need to show some attacking intent and score themselves.
15'
A. Maitland-Niles has scored a goal for Arsenal! Assist by P. Aubameyang.
It looked like Ramsey's pass was aimed for Kolasinac, but the left-back was well offside so left the ball, however Aubameyang raced onto the end of it, just kept it in play and crossed towards Maitland-Niles at the far post, who produced a fine header.
GOOOAAALLL! Arsenal lead 2-0 and it's now 3-3 on aggregate, with Arsenal heading through on away goals if the result remains the same. Aubameyang and Ramsey play a quick one-two inside the Rennes penalty area, with the striker just managing to keep the ball in play and chipping it towards the far post, where Maitland-Niles rose highest and powered the ball into the back of the net.
13'
The pace of the game has dropped slightly in the last couple of minutes, with the visitors able to settle the game down and they are pressing higher up the pitch, not allowing Arsenal as much time and space in the final third.
11'
Great low cross into the box by Kolasinac after his overlapping run down the left wing, he is fed the ball by Aubameyang and the left-back drills the ball into a good area. However, this time Rennes have enough players back and manage to cut out the cross.
9'
The hosts are getting a lot of joy down the right wing, with Maitland-Niles and Aubameyang linking up well and causing the French side a lot of problems.
7'
This is just the start that Rennes will have hoped to have avoided. They've hardly touched the ball so far and Arsenal are playing on the front foot, full of confidence and eager to get another early goal that would put them in the driving seat.
5'
P. Aubameyang has scored a goal for Arsenal! Assist by A. Ramsey.
Maitland-Niles gets away down the right wing, using his pace to great effect. The winger then whips the ball towards Aubameyang, who lays it off to Ramsey, who returns the favour by drilling a low cross back towards the striker.
GOOOAAALLL! Arsenal have a crucial early goal, Aubameyang makes it 3-2 on aggregate. Excellent quick football by the Gunners, they open up the Rennes defence, with Ramsey playing a low cross into the box and the striker just managed to get ahead of his marker at the near post and poke the ball past Koubek and into the back of the net.
4'
Almost! Arsenal go close to scoring early on as Lacazette races through on goal, but the Rennes goalkeeper just gets to the ball in time and manages to clear the danger.
3'
Arsenal are pressing forward early on, keeping the ball in the Rennes half of the pitch and the visitors are struggling to get a touch of the ball. The Gunners are denied a free-kick after Ozil is bundled to the ground.

Arsenal need to overturn a two goal deficit in order to progress to the next round of the competition, having suffered a 3-1 defeat in the first leg. The Gunners took an early lead in France, with Iwobi's third-minute goal getting them off to a great start, but the game soon unravelled after Sokratis' sending off. Bourigeaud equalised, before a Nacho Monreal own goal and Sarr's late header secured the victory for the French side.
Rennes struggled to get going and their confidence dropped as soon as the first goal went in, they now have to score in order to have a chance of progressing. However, they are yet to cause the Arsenal defence any problems and have often been undone at the back themselves by the pace of Aubameyang, Lacazette and Maitland-Niles.
That's all from us tonight folks, we hope you enjoyed the game!
The draw for the next round takes place tomorrow, with Arsenal joining Chelsea in the quarter-finals and these games will be played in a month's time. The Gunners now have a lengthy break before their next game, with no fixture this weekend and then the international break afterwards. Meanwhile Rennes will return to Ligue 1 action on Sunday, facing Bordeaux.
