M. Ritchie has scored a goal for Newcastle United! Assist by D. Yedlin.
With seconds on the clock, Yedlin's delivery had to be pretty much perfect. Ritchie was left unmarked in the box and the wing-back picked him out, though this goal was all about the quality of Ritchie's volleyed finish.
GOOOOOAAALLLL!!!! BOURNEMOUTH 2-2 NEWCASTLE!! It just had to be him! Unbelievable drama at the Vitality Stadium, as former Bournemouth man Ritchie thumps the ball into the top corner of the net to earn Newcastle a point. Ritchie watches Yedlin's right-sided cross all the way and it is pretty much past Boruc before he can even react. Incredible volley!
90' +2
Despite being put under some real pressure, Bournemouth have stood firm defensively and now have just another minute of added time to see through. Can United create one final chance?
90'
This is a contentious one! Atsu squares the ball and Mepham, under pressure seven yards from his own goal, taps the ball back towards Boruc. The Bournemouth keeper collects it and the referee deems that it is not a back-pass. Newcastle's players are furious.
88'
Howe tells his players to stay focused. Newcastle, having conceded twice in this second half, are now starting to turn the screw a little. Muto sends a long ball into the box and Mepham is happy to help it behind for a corner.
86'
It is all Newcastle now as we enter the final stages. Benitez is urging his side on, but time is not on their side.
85'
Hayden's eyes light up as he pulls the trigger to shoot, but he slips at just the wrong time and skews the ball wide, via a deflection. Up the other end, Daniels fires over the bar from 15 yards.
83'
C. Daniels gets yellow.
J. Shelvey enters the game and replaces M. Diamé.
Daniels is shown a yellow card for mistiming his tackle.
Make that a double change for Newcastle - Shelvey is also on for Diame in a like-for-like swap in the centre of the park.
82'
Y. Muto enters the game and replaces M. Almirón.
Benitez was about to make a change before that Bournemouth goal. Not sure if this is the change he was intending on making originally, as Muto comes on for Almiron in attack.
81'
J. King has scored a goal for AFC Bournemouth! Assist by D. Solanke.
Solanke was a little reluctant to take on the shot, but he knew exactly what he wanted to do. The ex-Liverpool man, making the most of some sloppy defending from Fernandez in particular, played it into the path of King to beat Dubravka with a tidy finish.
GOOOOOOAAALLL!!! BOURNEMOUTH 2-1 NEWCASTLE! King puts Bournemouth in front for the first time today with less than 10 minutes to go! This is a well-worked goal, as King carries the ball forward and plays it into the feet of Solanke. The substitute wriggles past a few players inside the box and tees it up for King to send a first-time finish spinning away from Dubravka into the bottom corner.

Description
79'
ANOTHER LERMA ATTEMPT! Bournemouth are starting to enjoy some sustained pressure now. Dummett heads away Fraser's corner and Lerma then lashes wide from 26 yards - not the worst attempt from the midfielder, who seems desperate to add to his goals tally.
77'
A misunderstanding from Diame and Ritchie brings an end to Newcastle's attack. The makeshift wing-back holds his run but Diame does not look up, sending his pass straight out of play. Bournemouth are looking the more likely to snatch all three points.
75'
I. Hayden gets yellow.
D. Solanke enters the game and replaces J. Ibe.
Bournemouth's first change of the game sees Solanke replace Ibe, meaning that the hosts now have three strikers up top.
Hayden is shown a yellow card for a needless trip. That has to be down to an accumulation of fouls from the Newcastle midfielder.
74'
Bournemouth will feel that they should be in front, having been denied a second goal by Dummett's superb defensive play. The game has been tight throughout and it remains very tense as we approach the finish line. Howe is about to make a change...
72'
C. Atsu enters the game and replaces Ayoze Pérez.
Having seen his side come close to conceding a second goal just a few seconds ago, Benitez brings on Atsu for Perez to provide some width.
71'
The possession count is split almost 50/50 down the middle, which sums up the match well. Bournemouth have had two shots to Newcastle's four, and the onus is on the hosts to find a winner in the remaining 20 minutes or so.
69'
Lejeune drills the ball right through the Bournemouth box - none of his team-mates were on the same wavelength. Boruc has had very little to do in the second half - all match, in fact, being beaten only by a superb Rondon free kick at the end of the opening 45 minutes.
67'
Fraser wins a free-kick from Diame's shove but his cross is pretty dreadful, cleared on the edge of the box.
66'
The match has gone back to being sloppy now, with neither team able to keep hold of possession for long enough to put together a serious attack. Both defences have stood firm and it looks as though a third goal, if it arrives, will win the match.
64'
GOOD ATTEMPT! Lerma wraps his foot around the ball and sends it curling agonisingly wide of the target, with Dubravka at full stretch. The midfielder has just one goal so far during his short Premier League career - that would have been a special second!
60'
OVER! Lerma glances Daniels' cross over the bar from a good position. After starting the second half in a dominant manner, Bournemouth have dropped off and are now second best. Howe must surely be considering a change as we hit the hour mark at the Vitality Stadium.
58'
Ritchie's cross is lacking quality but it is hacked behind by Daniels. Almiron's corner is deflected to Dummett, who rockets it over the crossbar from around 27 yards.
57'
The visitors have started to take back some control of the match. The ball is clipped into the middle and Rondon goes to ground, but there was not enough contact for Mike Dean to give it a second look. Rondon then turns Ake and shoots, nearly picking out Ritchie in front of goal with the deflected attempt.
55'
SHOT! Better from Newcastle, as Hayden drives forward from midfield and thumps the ball goalwards. It swerves wide, hitting the stanchion on its way through.
52'
United win a corner to relieve some of the pressure that has been building on them, but they make a mess of it. Bournemouth are looking a lot better in this second half, despite using the exact same system.
50'
INCHES WIDE! Mepham's looping header at the end of a Fraser corner drifts inches wide of the far post. Ake perhaps could have gambled and thrown himself at the ball. What a start to the second half this has been from Bournemouth!
48'
Penalty goal scored by J. King for AFC Bournemouth!
GOOOAAALLL!!! BOURNEMOUTH 1-1 NEWCASTLE! King's penalty is closer to the middle of the goal than it is the corner, but Newcastle goalkeeper Dubravka dives the wrong way and Bournemouth are back on level terms.
47'
Neither manager made any changes at the interval, so Brooks has clearly managed to shake off his first-half knock. Ake produces a great challenge to prevent Almiron getting a shot away early in the second period, leading to a counter that ends with a corner being won at the other end of the field.
46'
RESTART! Newcastle, leading through that Rondon free-kick right at the end of the first half, get us back up and running at the Vitality Stadium!
45' +6
HALF-TIME: BOURNEMOUTH 0-1 NEWCASTLE
45' +5
S. Rondón has scored a goal for Newcastle United!
GOOOAAALLL!!! BOURNEMOUTH 0-1 NEWCASTLE! That challenge from Ibe is further punished as Rondon curls the subsequent free-kick over the wall and into the top corner of Boruc's net. The Bournemouth goalkeeper knew where it was going but could not keep it out.
45' +4
J. Ibe gets yellow.
Newcastle hit Bournemouth on the counter and Ibe, having raced back, cynically brings down Almiron to earn himself a yellow card.
45' +3
Newcastle are looking a little nervy at the end of the first half. A breakdown in communication between Fernandez and Dubravka leads to Bournemouth winning a corner, which Lejeune heads clear.
45'
Three minutes have been added on at the end of the first half. It will likely be closer to four minutes as injured midfielder Brooks has still not left the field.
42'
CHANCE! This is the first sight of goal either King or Wilson have had so far today, as the latter is played in by Fraser but fires wide with the angle against him. A poor attempt, in truth - he should have been finding the target.
41'
Lerma bundles into Perez to knock the Newcastle attacker off his feet. Bournemouth win the free-kick, though, and Daniels' delivery is carried straight through to Dubravka by the wind.
40'
A lot was expected from this match in terms of entertainment, though it has been a game of few - if any - chances as we approach half-time. Ultimately, it has been a case of two mid-table sides cancelling each other out.
39'
This has been a good spell from Newcastle. For the second time in the space of five minutes, though, Dubravka's punt down the field goes straight through to opposite number Boruc. Target man Rondon puts his arms up as if to ask 'Why?'
37'
Mistakes are creeping into both sides' games, not helped by the wind. The teams are taking in turns to attack at the moment, but neither are getting very far - the final ball has been lacking all match.
35'
Under pressure high up the field, Daniels does well to launch the ball forward and King takes over with a lovely burst of pace. The ball is spread across to Fraser, but the cross is blocked before it can find one of his team-mates in the middle.
30'
Daniels clears Ritchie's cross at the far post. The visitors are not afraid to get the ball into the box from wide positions as often as they can, with Rondon the man Ritchie and Yedlin are aiming for. Hayden is penalised for his challenge on Lerma.
25'
Diame's delivery is a good one, nearly finding the head of Rondon. A Bournemouth player gets to it first, though, ending this latest Newcastle attack. Fraser is still not back on the field.
21'
Nearly a quarter of the match has been played and there has been very little between the sides so far. Bournemouth have had close to 60 per cent of the ball and hit the post through Fraser, but Newcastle have also looked pretty lively in the opposition half - the final ball has been lacking, though.
19'
J. Lerma gets yellow.
Lerma goes in heavy on Perez near the halfway line and is perhaps fortunate to only be shown a yellow by the referee Mike Dean. That looked to be a little out of control, and the Newcastle players wanted to see a red.
18'
Newcastle's three attackers - Rondon, Almiron and Perez - link up well just outside the opposition box. Almiron tees it up for Perez, whose shot from 23 yards is comfortable for Boruc to keep out.
17'
Having successfully defended the corner, Bournemouth hit their opponents on the counter for the second time today. Ibe carries the ball into the box but is tackled by Dummett, earning his side a corner that ultimately comes to little.
15'
Newcastle have started to control the game over the last few minutes. Diame is given time and space 25 yards from goal and has a go, sending his shot into a Bournemouth player. Ritchie sends in a low corner that is cleared away towards the front post.
13'
It has been a very open game so far at the Vitality Stadium. Yedlin is played into space down the right-hand side, but Daniels does brilliantly to chase back and challenge his opponent before the cross can arrive.
9'
Ayoze Pérez gets yellow.
Perez grazes the backside of Fraser, having misjudged the flight of the ball, and is shown the game's first yellow card for his high boot.
8'
Fraser has a couple of players to aim for in the middle but his cross flies into the side-netting. That was good play from Bournemouth, who are starting to grow into the match.
7'
Diame pokes the ball upfield for Rondon to chase. The wind, again, catches out the Bournemouth defence, but Boruc races off his line to collect the ball.
6'
Ibe gets the better of former Bournemouth man Ritchie down the Newcastle left and sends a cross into the middle. It is a little too close to the front post, though, and Dubravka has a pretty simple catch to make.
4'
Rondon has had some joy in these early stages. The striker very nearly gets his head on the end of Ritchie's drilled cross, which appears to swerve in the wind. There is a little too much on the delivery and it sails straight through the box.
2'
SHOT! Newcastle have started the better of the two sides. Hayden picks up the ball on the edge of the box and gets a shot on target that Boruc collects down low.
1'
KICK-OFF! Bournemouth, aiming to pull away from Newcastle and move back into the top half with victory today, get us underway on the south coast!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Premier League meeting between Bournemouth and Newcastle United at the Vitality Stadium.
These two sides are separated by just one place in the Premier League, with Bournemouth sitting 12th and three points better off than their opponents. The hosts returned to winning ways last weekend thanks to a 2-0 victory at bottom side Huddersfield Town, ending a run of four defeats in their last five matches. Even accounting for that win at the John Smith's Stadium, though, Eddie Howe's men have collected just 14 points from the last 45 available, seeing them drop into the bottom half.
Newcastle have climbed away from immediate relegation trouble by winning five of their last eight matches, most recently recovering from two goals down to beat Everton 3-2 last weekend. Rafael Benitez's men are now six points above the dropzone and can all but secure another season of top-flight football with three more points here. However, United have picked up just two points from their last 18 available away from home in the Premier League.
Bournemouth subs: Sam Surridge, Asmir Begovic, Kyle Taylor, Lys Mousset, Diego Rico, Jack Simpson, Dominic Solanke.
NEWCASTLE XI (3-4-2-1); Martin Dubravka; Federico Fernandez, Florian Lejeune, Paul Dummett (c); DeAndre Yedlin, Mohamed Diame, Isaac Hayden, Matt Ritchie; Ayoze Perez, Miguel Almiron; Salomon Rondon.
Newcastle subs: Yoshinori Muto, Ciaran Clark, Kenedy, Javier Manquillo, Christian Atsu, Karl Darlow, Jonjo Shelvey.
The two teams are now out on the field at the Vitality Stadium and we are moments away from kick-off.
BOURNEMOUTH XI (4-4-2): Artur Boruc; Nathaniel Clyne, Chris Mepham, Nathan Ake, Charlie Daniels (c); Jordon Ibe, Jefferson Lerma, David Brooks, Ryan Fraser; Callum Wilson, Joshua King.
It is likely that we will see at least one change at the interval as the two managers get a chance to assess their injured players. Bournemouth pair Fraser and Brooks both received treatment in a stop-start first half, while Newcastle midfielder Hayden also limped off the field before coming back on. In terms of tactics, the hosts could do with some more midfield control.
Howe will be disappointed that his side did not hold on for another few seconds to reach the 40-point mark. Bournemouth, who are now up to 38 points for the season, return to action on March 30 with a trip to ninth-place Leicester City. Newcastle also have a two-week gap between matches, meanwhile, with a trip to Arsenal up next for them on April 1.
Thanks for joining our coverage today. Until next time, goodbye!
