With seconds left in the match, Ballon replaces Yotun in midfield.
90'
The fourth official indicates three minutes for stoppages at the end of the match.
87'
A Brazil corner comes to the near post where it’s flicked on for Lucas Paqueta just outside the six-yard box. The Milan forward has a volley, but he’s unable to keep it down as it sails over the crossbar.
85'
L. Abram has scored a goal for Peru! Assist by Y. Yotún.
It was an exceptional set-piece, which earns Yotun an assist.
PERU BREAK THE DEADLOCK! 1-0 TO GARECA’S SIDE! Yotun swings a free-kick into the six-yard box from the just outside the left-hand corner of the penalty area which allows Abram to attack it, with the centre-back tucking a neat header in the corner of the goal past Ederson, who had come out to punch!
84'
Bruno Henrique enters the game and replaces Philippe Coutinho.
A late substitution sees an unimpressive Coutinho replaced by Bruno Henrique.
82'
Tite’s substitutions have certainly sparked some life into the Selecao, but with less than 10 minutes remaining, it looks somewhat unlikely that his reinforcements will be able to turn the tides of the match in Brazil’s favour.
80'
Heroic defending from Peru gets the ball away from their penalty area as an aerial delivery into the box is headed upwards immediately by Santamaria, before Advincula swings a boot at it to whack it upfield.
78'
Allan wins a free-kick in midfield after a Tapia foul which he opts to take quickly instead of letting his centre-backs enter the penalty area for a long-range delivery.
74'
Vinícius Júnior enters the game and replaces Richarlison.
Tite gives Vinicius his Brazil debut as he replaces Richarlison with just over 15 minutes remaining. Can the Real Madrid forward be the man to make the difference?
Minute
Description
72'
A. Carrillo enters the game and replaces É. Flores.
C. Cueva enters the game and replaces G. Costa.
Peru make another switch as Cueva replaces Costa.
Carrillo is also thrown on to trouble the Brazil defence. Flores is the man to make way.
69'
A. Santamaría enters the game and replaces C. Zambrano.
C. Gonzáles enters the game and replaces P. Aquino.
Aquino was booked earlier in the match and will not be risked in the final 20 minutes. Santamaria comes on in his place.
68'
Tapia gives it away in midfield which allows Neymar to sprint towards the Peru penalty area. Some good man-marking forces the PSG forward to lay it off to Coutinho, but the return ball through the heart of the defence is hit too hard, allowing Gallese to collect.
64'
Lucas Paquetá enters the game and replaces David Neres.
Fabinho enters the game and replaces Casemiro.
A change in midfield sees Casemiro taken off for Liverpool’s Fabinho.
Lucas Paqueta also gets a chance as Neres is withdrawn.
63'
Neymar enters the game and replaces Roberto Firmino.
Tite throws Neymar into the match with just under 30 minutes remaining.
62'
Neres’ corner finds the bandaged head of Casemiro, who nods it towards goal. Gallese still looks uncomfortable after the earlier thumb injury as he hastily punches it away with one first.
60'
An hour has passed and it remains level at 0-0, with neither side able to edge in front, despite the increased chances in the second half in comparison to the first. It looks as though Tite is preparing a switch in order to change that, however, as Neymar looks to be going through his final paces.
58'
Richarlison takes down Advincula as he commits his third foul of the evening. He definitely possesses a high work rate in defence, but his eagerness to win the ball back often leaves the Everton forward in trouble.
56'
Peru have clearly been waiting for a rematch against Brazil as they are playing exceptionally well without the ball, forcing the Selecao to rush in possession everywhere on the pitch. It hasn’t translated to chances in front of goal as Gallese has been much busier than Ederson - but the clean sheet remains.
54'
Coutinho has a crack at goal after great hold-up play from Firmino which forces another great save out of Gallese, but it appears as though the goalkeeper has injured himself in the process. He’s getting some tape on his right thumb, which could hinder his ability going forward.
52'
Alex Sandro gets yellow.
Alex Sandro is given a yellow card for a late cynical challenge on Tapia.
48'
Advincula swings a low cross in from the right wing with his left, but Alex Sandro easily smashes it away with a clearing volley.
46'
Y. Reyna enters the game and replaces R. Ruidíaz.
An early change in the second half sees a change at striker for Peru, with Reyna replacing Ruidiaz.
45' +3
HALF-TIME: BRAZIL 0-0 PERU.
45' +2
P. Aquino gets yellow.
The first card of the match is a yellow shown to Aquino for a poor slide tackle on Casemiro in midfield.
45' +1
The fourth official indicates an additional three minutes of time at the end of the half for stoppages.
44'
Coutinho takes a corner-kick to the edge of the six-yard box but Gallese makes a confident catch despite the crowd of players in his way.
42'
Neres gets caught in possession outside the Peru penalty area but has just enough time to squeeze a pass square to Coutinho, who is promptly crowded out by three Peru defenders.
40'
Neres has switched wings with Richarlison as he looks to cut in from the right-hand side, but Trauco steps in and dispossesses the forward with ease. It’s been all too straightforward for the Peru defence tonight who have been rarely tested.
37'
The ball is hung up to the far post for Tapia, but Aquino puts the set-piece too deep as the Peru midfielder can only keep it in play for Brazil to reclaim.
36'
Peru now have a free-kick as Militao takes Costa down about 20 yards outside of the penalty area.
34'
Play resumes as Casemiro re-enters the pitch with what looks to be a swim cap on his head for protection. It’s good to see that the player can continue after what looked to be a nasty collision.
30'
Alex Sandro flicks the ball into the penalty area from the left and Richarlison pops up on his opposite flank to hit a left-footed volley which drifts well-wide of Gallese’s post.
28'
Fagner looks to ignite something down the right, playing neat passes with Casemiro before turning and passing inwards to Richarlison. The Everton winger hits an immediate return pass out to the flank, but he miscues it and sends it over the full-back’s head.
26'
With just about 30 minutes played in the first half, neither side have looked to be able to sustain attacking pressure for any length of time. Tite should be asking more of his side, who have often times resorted to spraying passes down the pitch to chase onto.
24'
Advincula looks to make his presence felt on the attacking end after bursting forward down the right and sending a dangerous ball into the penalty area for Ruidiaz, which forces Ederson to make an uneasy catch.
18'
Allan’s sloppy pass in midfield gives Peru a chance to break after the turnover but it’s the unlikely Firmino who tracks back to intercept, before getting it forward to Richarlison as Brazil look to break the deadlock.
16'
Coutinho’s corner is pushed away out of the penalty area by Aquino, who stationed himself intelligently inside the six-yard box.
12'
Costa holds up play against Casemiro on the near touchline and is promptly dragged to the ground, giving Peru their first free-kick of the match.
11'
Peru have started the match pressing intently, forcing Brazil to cycle the ball quickly in midfield. It’s a great start, but one has to wonder how long the intensity can hold up in the Los Angeles heat.
9'
Marquinhos attempts another launched delivery down the right for Richarlison, but once again the centre-back gets his accuracy slightly wrong as he sends it out for a Peru throw-in near the corner flag.
7'
A long pass is pinged over the top from the centre circle by Marqunhos, but it rolls just too far for Richarlison to stride onto as Peru happily see it behind for a goal-kick.
5'
Allan drags Yotun down on the near touchline after Brazil turn the ball over in midfield, but the referee is happy to allow play to continue as the Peru supporters voice their displeasure.
3'
Casemiro is brought down by Aquino while Peru press high into Brazil's half, but the foul allows the Selecao to clear their lines easily.

Peru get the match underway from the kick-off!
Good evening and welcome to our LIVE commentary of the international friendly between Peru and Brazil!
Four days after drawing Colombia in their first match since winning the Copa America, Brazil look to continue their 17-match unbeaten run against a Peru side who have lost three of their last five. These two should be quite familiar with each other, as they played each other in the Copa two months ago, with the Selecao emerging victorious, 3-1.
Peru will be looking to exact revenge on the side who ended their dreams of continental glory at the last hurdle by beating Brazil tonight in Los Angeles. It’ll be a tough task for Ricardo Gareca’s squad, as they have only gotten the better of the Selecao once since 1985. They were given two attempts to get the better of their South American rivals during this years’ CONMEBOL tournament, but failed at both attempts, losing 8-1 on aggregate.
BRAZIL XI (4-3-3): Ederson; Alex Sandro, Eder Militao, Marquinhos, Fagner; Philippe Coutinho, Casemiro, Allan; David Neres, Roberto Firmino, Richarlison.
With 15 minutes to go before kick-off, the team news has been confirmed! Let's start with Brazil!
PERU SUBS: Carlos Caceda. Patricio Alvarez, Aldo Corzo, Marcos Lopez, Carlos Ascues, Alexander Callens, Anderson Santamaria, Josepmir Ballon, Christian Cueva, Christopher Gonzales, Andre Carrillo, Yordy Reyna, Kevin Quevedo.
PERU XI (4-3-3): Pedro Gallese; Luis Advincula, Carlos Zambrano, Luis Abram, Miguel Trauco; Pedro Aquino, Renato Tapia, Yoshimar Yotun; Gabriel Costa, Raul Ruidiaz, Edison Flores.
BRAZIL SUBS: Vinicius Junior, Weverton, Jorge, Dani Alves, Samir, Fabinho, Neymar, Ivan, Thiago Silva, Arthur, Bruno Henrique, Lucas Paqueta.
Brazil’s bench features a host of attacking talent with Vinicius, Neymar and Lucas Paqueta all primed and ready to be introduced. Tite will no doubt be looking to take the second half by the scruff of the neck, with an early change likely. Peru will need their reinforcements to continue with the same intensity as the XI who began the match - as they’ve done well to suppress the Selecao’s creative players.
Brazil get the second half underway from the kick-off!
That concludes our commentary of the friendly between Brazil and Peru! We hope you enjoyed it!
Brazil do not currently have any fixtures scheduled in the near future, while Peru are back in action on October 10 against Uruguay in a friendly.
