Description
77'
Ramsey's had an incredibly dominant game from his advanced role today. His clever anticipation has allowed him to gather countless loose passes and ricochets and Hungary haven't found a way to restrict him.
75'
Ramsey almost gets a hattrick! James shimmies past Lovrencsics and bustles his way towards the byline before squaring across goal, where Lang hacks a poor clearance straight to Ramsey, who slots a low effort towards the far corner, only for Gulacsi to block it with his legs!

R. Varga enters the game and replaces B. Dzsudzsák.

63'
Wales win yet another free-kick in a strong position and this time Bale curls one in that goes just beyond Lockyer's jump and into Gulacsi's arms.

A. Ramsey has scored a goal for Wales! Assist by K. Moore.
WALES GET A SECOND! 2-0! Adam Nagy lunges in on James late, earning Wales a free-kick 25 yards from goal on the left. Davies whips in the delivery towards Moore who volleys it across goal, where Ramsey instinctively pounces on the loose ball, before taking a touch and curling a close-range finish beyond Gulacsi!
Moore's been a menace from every set-piece and Hungary struggle to cope with the target-man once again, with his volley flashing across goal towards Ramsey for a simple opportunity!

35'
Despite these missed chances, Hungary seem to have finally settled into this game. Their front three are energetically moving behind Szalai now and the two Welsh holding midfielders are struggling to cope with this threat. Nevertheless, Wales look dangerous on the counter-attack themselves and this game looks perfectly poised.
31'
Adam Nagy attempts to initiate a breakaway for Hungary but Morrell races back to stop his run to rapturous applause from the home fans.
25'

Bale attempts to jink past Zsolt Nagy again, but this time the full-back manages to sneak possession off the attacker and clear it away.
17'
Well, Wales have dominated the early exchanges and with their first big opportunity, they take the lead. Hungary will need to be careful not to succumb to the home atmosphere and the exuberance of the Welsh team by keeping this at 1-0 for the time being.
15'
A. Ramsey has scored a goal for Wales! Assist by G. Bale.
WALES TAKE THE LEAD! 1-0! Roberts slips Bale in down the right, where the winger swings in an inviting cross before Ramsey makes a late run to charge onto the delivery and head powerfully past Gulacsi! That's just the start the hosts craved!
Bale has found plenty of space so far today and he punished Hungary on this occasion with a perfectly flighted cross for Ramsey to nod home!

6'
Bale is caught by Zsolt Nagy, winning the hosts a free-kick 40 yards from goal near the touchline. From the set-piece, Allen targets the imposing Moore with a clipped lob into the box, but no Welsh player can quite latch onto his knock-down and Hungary clear.
5'
Ramsey steals possession from Zsolt Nagy inside the Hungarian half, before racing down the right flank where a couple of defenders recover to crowd him out. For a second it looked as though space was opening up for Wales to exploit already.
4'
In theory - despite the tension evident in all the players - this should be an open, attacking game. Both teams know that a win guarantees guarantees qualification and will be throwing men forward accordingly.
2'
Lovrencsics immediately angles a long diagonal out towards Sallai who works possession inside to Dzsudzsak, where the attacker lashes a powerful shot that flies wildly over the bar from 35 yards. Most likely an attempt to fire away any early nerves.

Hello and welcome to live commentary of this European Championship Qualifiers Group E clash between Wales and Hungary. For both teams this marks the culmination of their qualifying campaign; and fittingly, this is their most important game by some margin. Wales need a victory to leap past Hungary into second place and seal their spot in Euro 2020 – no other result will do. Meanwhile, the away side need to avoid defeat and to match Slovakia’s result against Azerbaijan in order to take second spot. Both teams still have the safety net of the play-offs if they fail today, but they’ll be desperate to avoid any extra anxiety by booking their place in next year’s tournament upon the final whistle with three points.
The players are emerging from the tunnel and kick off is just minutes away!
HUNGARY (4-2-3-1): Peter Gulacsi; Gergo Lovrencsics, Botond Barath, Adam Lang, Zsolt Nagy; Mate Paknai, Adam Nagy; Balazs Dzsudzsak, Dominik Szoboszlai, Roland Sallai; Adam Szalai.
As things stand, Wales will be securing qualification to Euro 2020 over Hungary. To make matters worse for the away side, Slovakia are also currently beating Azerbaijan, meaning that they'll need to overturn the deficit and beat Wales today to make it through. Naturally, you'd expect Hungary to commit plenty of men forward now and Wales may have much more space to operate.
That's all for now though, goodbye!
While Wales secured their place at next year's tournament tonight, Hungary will now have to make do with a spot in the play-offs and yet more high-pressure matches to try and join their counterparts when Euro 2020 kicks off.
