Castillejo gets in again, but his driven shot is too close to Skorupski and is tipped over the crossbar.
90' +4
Castillejo gets a shooting opportunity at the edge of the box, over to the right. He aims for the bottom-right corner with his left foot, but drags it wide.
90' +3
Milan counter after a Palacio turn-and-shot inside the box is blocked. Kessie feeds Castillejo down the left and he looks to loft a long ball over the defence to Suso, but there's a defender on hand to cut it out.
90' +2
Orsolini looks to get in behind Hernandez down the right before cutting back onto his left foot, but this time the left-back does well and wins the ball from him cleanly.
90' +1
Five minutes of stoppage time to be added on here. One goal in it.
90'
Donnarumma spills a long free-kick into the area, but only because he was fouled by Santander.
89'
Santander wins another flick-on but Donnarumma gets to it before Palacio can. Musacchio then goes down in a heap for no readily apparent reason, other than there being 90 seconds of normal time remaining.
87'
Piatek holds the ball up well after Conti is tackled on the right, but he can't win a throw as he takes it to the corner and Bologna win the ball back. Paqueta then reponds well to intercept as Bologna go from left to right.
86'
Goal, own goal, penalty conceded... Hernandez has had a busy night!
Minute
Description
85'
Samu Castillejo enters the game and replaces H. Çalhanoğlu.
Milan make their final change, Castillejo coming on in place of Calhanoglu.
84'
Penalty goal scored by N. Sansone for Bologna!
GOAL! Bologna are back in it again, Sansone scores the penalty and it's 3-2! He drills a right-footed effort hard into the bottom-left corner. Donnarumma goes the right way but can't get a touch on it.
83'
A. Romagnoli gets yellow.
Romagnoli sees the second Milan yellow for dissent in two minutes for protesting the penalty call.
81'
F. Santander gets yellow.
Orsolini goes down in the area under a clumsy challenge from Hernandez and the home fans and crowd are all furious as nothing is given. Santander is booked for chasing the referee down to shout at him.
80'
Bologna get a free-kick deep on the left and Orsolini whips a great ball toward the far corner of the six-yard box. There are three attacking players going for it, but it's Bani who gets the touch and he can't steer it on target.
79'
Lucas Paquetá enters the game and replaces G. Bonaventura.
And now a second change for Milan, goalscorer Bonaventura replaced by Paqueta.
78'
R. Orsolini enters the game and replaces A. Skov Olsen.
Third and final change for Bologna, as Orsolini comes on for Skov Olsen.
77'
R. Palacio gets yellow.
Palacio is booked for dissent after a throw-in decision goes against him by the right corner flag.
75'
A Milan player goes down in a heap in the middle of the Bologna half, and Conti plays a neat one-two off his prone body as he looks to spring an attack. It comes to nothing, and he's back up on his feet.
74'
T. Tomiyasu gets yellow.
Tomiyasu sees yellow for an arm across the chest of Bonaventura.
72'
Hernandez pulls back a low cross from the left after good, patient build-up from Milan, but Tomiyasu is alert to the danger and hooks it clear.
70'
L. Biglia enters the game and replaces I. Bennacer.
Pioli makes his first change of the night, a midfield swap with Biglia replacing Bennacer.
Sansone now looks to shoot from the edge of the area, but it strikes the inside of Santander's leg and the substitute was in an offside position.
69'
Santander picks up on a loose ball and makes headway down the right. His cut-back looks to be way too deep, but Svanberg manages to latch onto it before firing well over the crossbar for the second time. Bologna are putting some pressure on now.
68'
Skov Olsen and Hernandez catch each other going for a 50/50. They each took a heavy whack, but they're both good to carry on.
67'
A good Bologna move breaks down at the last pass. Santander flicks on a good header to Sansone, who feeds Skov Olsen down the right. He comes infield and looks to play Santander in behind, but Musacchio cuts it out.
64'
F. Santander enters the game and replaces B. Džemaili.
Bologna make an attacking change, their second sub of the night. Striker Santander comes on for midfielder Dzemaili.
Sansone shoots from range out on the left. It's a powerful, dipping effort but it doesn't dip quite enough, skimming the roof of the net on its way behind.
63'
A loose ball in midfield breaks vaguely in the direction of Piatek down the right channel. He gives chase but Denswil is well stationed and cleans up what little danger there was.
61'
Milan come forward down the left, but the cross that eventually comes in deflects up in the air and straight to Skorupski.
58'
Musacchio steps up to collect a loose ball in the Bologna half, but his pass out towards Conti on the right goes straight out of play.
55'
Dzemaili lays off Svanberg at the edge of the area but he completely shanks his first effort at goal. Left-footed from the edge of the D, high and wide.
54'
Denswil gets his foot trodden on by Kessie, and goes down holding his knee. The magic spray heals whatever it is that ails him.
52'
Suso comes infield from the right and shifts away from a pair of defenders, but he can't find a way through and Milan have to go backwards. Kessie's pass forward to Calhanoglu is wayward and Bologna win possession back.
50'
Poli breaks in behind inside the penalty area to the right and gets a shot in from a tight angle, with Donnarumma tipping it round the post. The resulting corner is cleared easily enough.
48'
Mihajlovic looks like he can't believe his eyes. I wasn't privy to his half-time team-talk, but I can't imagine it involved, "when you go out for the second half, just don't bother with the first couple of minutes".
46'
G. Bonaventura has scored a goal for AC Milan!
M. Svanberg enters the game and replaces J. Schouten.
GOAL! Brilliant from Bonaventura, Milan lead 3-1 within a minute of the restart! Bologna just didn't come alive as Piatek trundled down the right and pulled the ball back. Tomiyasu cleared but only as far as Bonaventura at the edge of the area, with the midfielder shifting it onto his left foot before curling inside the left post.
45' +1
HALF-TIME: BOLOGNA 1-2 AC MILAN
45'
It's a really tight contest, this. There haven't been many opportunities aside from the goals, but it's a pretty entertaining watch with two well-matched teams both putting a lot of effort in.
First change of the game comes from Bologna, as Svanberg replaces Schouten.
We're back underway! Can Milan see it out, or do we have a comeback on our hands?
43'
Poli is down for a moment after an inadvertant whack in the back of the head from Bonaventura, but it isn't a serious blow and he gets back up to carry on soon enough.
40'
T. Hernández is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
GOAL! Bologna pull one back, 2-1! A corner is whipped in from the left and Denswil crouches to head it from the edge of the six-yard box. He can only get a glancing touch, but it cannons off Hernandez's hip and in. One at each end for Hernandez in the space of eight minutes!
39'
Bonaventura feints one way at the left corner of the penalty area before jinking outside his defender, but he has to stretch to reach the ball to get a shot in and scuffs it up in the air for a simple catch.
38'
Conti's cross from the right is overhit, and Hernandez keeps it in play only for Skov Olsen. He tries to find a ball upfield to Dzemaili, but Romagnoli gets across to cut it out well.
37'
Milan mount a fast attack down the left and win a throw-in. They're passing with speed and precision when they get within sight of the Bolgona penalty area, but the home side are getting men behind the ball quickly. A good battle, but some chances would be nice!
35'
Bologna get a free-kick over by the left touchline after a foul by Conti. It's a good position for a cross, but Sansone's ball in is headed behind by the first man, Bennacer.
32'
T. Hernández has scored a goal for AC Milan! Assist by Suso.
GOAL! 2-0 Milan, Hernandez with his second goal in two games but what an assist from Suso! The Spaniard drifts infield from the right and plays a wonderfully disguised pass in for Hernandez, who escapes the attentions of his defender and finishes via a touch off the goalkeeper.
Suso with a brilliant assist. I was about to start writing about a scuffed shot, but it was a superbly disguised through ball!
31'
Dzemaili hooks a first-time pass forward which Hernandez has to be alert to, putting himself between Skov Olsen and the ball until it rolls into the area for Donnarumma to fall on.
29'
Bologna win a free-kick in a great position, a couple of yards outside the D and just slightly to the right of centre. Skov Olsen looks to be the man to take it but Palacio takes over and hits it straight into the wall.
28'
Palacio and Dzemaili combine to set Sansone off in behind, but Dzemaili's pass has too much on it for Sansone to control and Donnarumma can watch it behind.
27'
The first shot in a while comes for Milan. Kessie gets the ball at the right corner of the penalty area and pulls it back to Calhanoglu at the edge of the D, but he drags a low first-time effort across goal and wide to the left.
26'
Bani keeps the ball in in the right-back position, going around Hernandez to do so. It looks a great challenge, but the referee pulls play back for a free-kick.
22'
Schouten is lucky not to see yellow as well after catching Kessie in the face with his boot. The Milan player was stooping slightly to not the ball down in midfield, but it was a very high foot.
21'
I. Bennacer gets yellow.
Bennacer gets Milan's first yellow card of the evening for a late tackle on Dzemaili. Seems a little harsh with both players sliding in together, but he did catch him.
20'
Palacio gets past Musacchio too easily for Milan's liking down the left, but there are enough bodies back to cover and eventually hack the ball clear at the second attempt. Piatek picks the ball up from Kessie's clearance, and wins a free-kick just inside his own half.
18'
Skov Olsen does well to nutmeg Hernandez on the right touchline, but the Milan defender reacts well to get his body between the winger and the ball and eventually win a free-kick for a nudge in the back.
16'
Palacio goes into overdrive to keep a loose ball from going behind for a Milan goal kick, hooking it out for a throw-in instead. He's rewarded for his efforts as Bologna immediately win the ball back from the throw, but with plenty of Milan defenders about they opt to to backwards and start again from defence.
15'
Penalty goal scored by K. Piątek for AC Milan!
GOAL! 1-0 Milan, Piatek tucks the penalty home! He hesitates in his run-up before side-footing powerfully to his right, goalkeeper Skorupski falling the other way. Not in the corner by any definition, but Piatek won the mind games.
14'
M. Bani gets yellow.
Referee Daniele Chiffi shows Bani the first yellow card of the night for bundling Piatek over inside the area.
13'
Milan get another free-kick, around halfway into the Bologna half in a central position. Bonaventura lifts it straight out for a goal kick.
11'
Milan take a free-kick on the half-way line short with no real options up front, and Hernandez is immediately pressed off the ball by Skov Olsen. He does well to keep the ball in play but eventually overruns it as he reaches the byline and goes tumbling over the advertising hoardings.
9'
Skov Olsen's fizzing cross from the right edge of the penalty area is cleared by the bandaged head of Romagnoli.
8'
Sansone takes on Conte and beats him down the Bologna left, but he can't quite pick out a team-mate in the Milan penalty area.
6'
Suso is tackled at the edge of the area but Conti makes a great overlapping run to pick up the loose ball, cutting it back from the byline, before Piatek fouls Bani trying to get a touch to the low cross.
5'
Calhanoglu sprays a pass from deep out toward the left flank for Hernandez to chase, but Tomiyasu has a big head-start and gets to it first.
3'
Calhanoglu looks to be eyeing a shooting opportunity after drifting infield from the right, but Bani gets a foot in.
2'
Donnarumma's scuffed pass is cut out by Skov Olsen, but he can only head it back to a Milan shirt. The ball comes back to the Dane and he shoots left-footed from the edge of the area, but it's straight down the keeper's throat.
1'
We're up and running! Milan look to build an attack down the left, but Suso's pass down a narrow alley towards Hernandez dribbles out of play.
Good evening and welcome to our live coverage of this Serie A fixture, as Sinisa Mihajlovic’s Bologna host Stefano Pioli’s AC Milan at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.

SUBS: Marco Molla, Musa Juwara, Nehuen Paz, Gabriele Corbo, Mattia Destro, Riccardo Orsolini, Federico Santander, Mattias Svanberg, Angelo da Costa, Ibrahima Mbaye, Mouhamadou Sarr.
AC MILAN (4-3-3): Gianluigi Donnarumma; Theo Hernandez, Andrea Romagnoli, Mateo Musacchio, Andrea Conti; Giacomo Bonaventura, Ismael Bennacer, Franck Kessie; Hakan Calhanoglu, Krzysztof Piatek, Suso.
SUBS: Rafael Leao, Lucas Paqueta, Antonio Donnarumma, Davide Calabria, Fabio Borini, Pepe Reina, Samu Castillejo, Ante Rebic, Lucas Biglia, Ricardo Rodriguez, Rade Krunic, Matteo Gabbia.
The players are on their way out of the tunnel, and we’re almost ready for kick-off. Who are you backing?
Three shots on target in the match so far, and three goals - though of course, one of those goals was at the wrong end. Looking forward, Bologna may well think they can still win this if they can find an extra gear, but Milan's front three have looked pretty sharp on the rare occasions they've been granted space going forward. The next goal looks pretty important, as is almost always the case in games of football.
That's it from me tonight, and the end of our coverage of what has been a pretty entertaining game. A lovely way to round off the weekend. Ciao!
Milan only rise one place up the league table to tenth, but they're four points clear of Bologna now and could finish next weekend as high as seventh. Pioli's side return home to face Sassuolo next Sunday afternoon, while Bologna host Atalanta at the same time.
