Remember, a goal for Middlesbrough now will take us to extra-time. Johnson swings in a dangerous cross that is met by Fletcher, but he cannot keep his header on target.
90' +1
Tanganga powers down the right-hand side and so nearly picks out a team-mate at the end of his burst forward. Neither Alli nor Son can turn it in.
90'
A couple of Tottenham crosses are cleared, with Middlesbrough's players putting their bodies on the line. Three minutes have been added on at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
89'
Tanganga hooks the ball clear as the Tottenham box is bombarded. This was always going to be a risk after Spurs failed to kill off the tie at 2-0 up. Boro will hope to see a big number added on.
87'
Clayton goes to ground in some pain - he will have to soldier on as Woodgate has used all three of his subs. Eriksen gets his free-kick all wrong, summing up Tottenham's struggles for much of this second period.
85'
D. Alli enters the game and replaces E. Dier.
Mourinho, sensing his side are hanging on a little, brings on Alli for Dier. The departing player does not seem happy.
Winks gets in the way of Howson's drilled shot as Boro win a corner. The visitors have momentum on their side and have a fair bit of time to find a leveller. Gestede gets his head to the corner but cannot keep it on target.
83'
G. Saville has scored a goal for Middlesbrough!
GOOOOOAAAAALLLLL!!!!! TOTTENHAM 2-1 MIDDLESBROUGH! SAVILLE GIVES BORO HOPE! Saville picks up the ball just outside the box and steers a low shot away from Gazzaniga to make it game on in north London!
Assist Rudy Gestede
82'
Dier gives away a needless free-kick. Middlesbrough need to gamble now with time fast running out. One goal will change the picture entirely.
81'
GOOD GOALKEEPING! Mejias, at fault for Tottenham's opening goal, does well to palm away Eriksen's low cross. The ball appeared to take a couple of deflections on its way through and was heading in.
Minute
Description
79'
The corner is sent into the box and Gazzaniga plucks it out of the air. Tottenham counter and Son, having cut on to his left, fires a deflected shot wide.
78'
R. Gestede enters the game and replaces L. Nmecha.
Nmecha is off and Gestede on as Middlesbrough set themselves for the corner.
77'
NEARLY! With a little over 10 minutes to go, this tie is not yet over. Saville's deflected shot skims the roof of the net for a corner.
76'
Winks spots the run of Eriksen through the middle. Fry lunges in to put off the midfielder and when he does eventually get the shot away it is gathered by Mejias.
74'
M. Tavernier enters the game and replaces D. Spence.
Spence has put in a good shift for Middlesbrough down the right today and is replaced by Tavernier with around 15 minutes to go.
73'
OVER! A rare chance for Middlesbrough as Nmecha attacks Johnson's corner and guides a header over the crossbar.
72'
McNair does well to put Son under pressure inside the area. The South Korea international loses his footing and the ball goes out for a goal-kick.
71'
Eriksen has time to turn in the box - never a good thing for the opposition - but Boro cut out his flicked pass towards Son. Tottenham have stepped things up over the last five minutes, coinciding with Son's arrival from the bench.
69'
Son has not given Boro's defenders a moment's peace since coming off the bench. He wins his side a corner, which ultimately comes to nothing.
68'
Johnson's corner is sent into the six-yard box and Vertonghen is the first player to it. Tottenham counter but Boro get bodies back quickly to cut out Lamela's cross.
66'
Tottenham have gone from having 75 per cent of the ball in the first half to 61 per cent in the second half. They are still in control but chances have been at a premium. A deep Boro free-kick is headed behind by Dier.
64'
Gazzaniga comes a long way off his line and it proves a good decision as he makes himself big to block Nmecha's shot.
63'
That change is effectively like-for-like, with Son now leading the line for Tottenham. The hosts have not really got going in this second period, but it matters little as things stand thanks to the two-goal lead they opened up early in the match.
61'
Son Heung-Min enters the game and replaces Lucas Moura.
Son is on for Lucas in attack as Mourinho makes his first change of the match with just over an hour played.
59'
Sanchez has been pretty dodgy all match. A simple ball in from the left is miscued behind for a corner - terrible clearance under little pressure! Luckily for him the set-piece is easily gathered by Gazzaniga.
57'
G. Saville enters the game and replaces B. Liddle.
Saville, who started the reverse fixture, comes on for full debutant Liddle.
Lucas, not for the first time today, is off target with his attempt from 20 yards. That came on the back of a decent Tottenham move.
56'
GOOD SAVE FROM GAZZANIGA! Wing bends his free-kick around the Tottenham wall but Gazzaniga watches it all the way and makes the save. Nmecha goes to ground in the next attacking move under contact from Lo Celso but no penalty is given.
53'
HORROR MISS! Tanganga turns his man inside out and fizzes the ball across the face of goal. Sessegnon somehow fails to find an empty net from a few yards out, but the offside flag would have gone up regardless.
51'
It has been a slow start to the second period, with Tottenham unable to find their flow. Middlesbrough deserve credit for that but they need to start creating chances if they are to drag themselves back into the tie.
49'
Woodgate's men are pressing a lot higher, meaning Tottenham are having to work harder to get the ball forward. It goes without saying that the next goal in this game - if there is indeed one - will be massive.
47'
Clayton launches the ball forward down the right and Sessegnon helps it out. Middlesbrough are clearly aiming to get at their opponents a lot more in this second half.
46'
RESTART! Middlesbrough get us back up and running at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where neither manager made a half-time change.
45' +2
HALF-TIME: TOTTENHAM 2-0 MIDDLESBROUGH
45'
Johnson's inswinging free-kick is headed wide by Fletcher, who did well to climb highest eight yards from goal. Half a chance, that!
44'
Tottenham have come close to scoring a third goal a few times but Middlesbrough have played some decent football over the last five or 10 minutes. Given the hosts' inability to keep a clean sheet, this tie is far from over.
43'
LUCAS COMES CLOSE! Vertonghen has to be at full stretch to block Liddle's cross. Tottenham counter and Lucas opts to go it alone, firing a shot inches wide of the post. Eriksen was in space to his right and should have been used.
41'
Spence is doing well to close down Tottenham's players. The Championship side have grown into the match over the last few minutes.
40'
Tottenham have completed 360 passes, compared to 110 for Middlesbrough as we enter the final five minutes of the first half. The hosts are good value for their two-goal lead, but the tie will not be over until they score a third.
38'
Vertonghen gets the final touch to the ball as Middlesbrough win their first corner of the contest. McNair delivers and it is a Tottenham player who gets to it first. The ball is not properly cleared and it falls perfectly for McNair, who hammers it over. The offside flag would have gone up, regardless.
36'
Yet more sloppy play from Middlesbrough allows Lucas to play in a cross from the right. It is just out of Lamela's reach and the visitors manage to clear their lines.
34'
SAVE! Wing fouls Eriksen around 25 yards from goal and a number of Tottenham players step forward to take the free-kick. Lo Celso leaves Lamela and Eriksen to it and it is the latter who takes. The low drive is on target but Mejias makes a comfortable save down to his right.
31'
Tottenham full-backs Sessegnon and Tanganga have both come close in the last five minutes. Middlesbrough may be playing with five across the back but their opponents are finding plenty of gaps.
29'
INCHES WIDE! Tanganga is slipped in by Lo Celso on the overlap and drills a shot just wide of the far post. Tottenham are good value for a third goal here and we have not even played half an hour.
27'
SHOT! Tottenham are playing some really nice football. Sessegnon exchanges passes with Lamela and charges into the box. The angle is against him but he gets in a low shot that requires saving from Mejias. The corner is headed well clear.
25'
A slick Tottenham move culminates in Eriksen teeing up Dier to fire high and wide from 20 yards.
24'
NEARLY A THIRD! Lamela is really enjoying himself! The scorer of Tottenham's second spins 16 yards from goal and rifles a shot over the crossbar. Middlesbrough's defenders are struggling to cope with his movement.
22'
The chance for Nmecha aside, which came as a result of Sanchez's misplaced pass, Middlesbrough have offered very little. Tottenham have not really got out of second gear but already boast a two-goal lead.
18'
That Gazzaniga save looks even bigger now given Lamela doubled Tottenham's tally 90 seconds later.
17'
Dier lands awkwardly after trying to win an aerial challenge and appears to be in some pain, but it looks as though he will be able to play on.
15'
É. Lamela has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur!
That Middlesbrough chance came as a result of Sanchez's sloppy pass from the back. Both teams have now been guilty of gifting the opposition a major opportunity in the early stages.
GOOOOOAAAAALLLL!!!! TOTTENHAM 2-0 MIDDLESBROUGH!!! LAMELA DOUBLES TOTTENHAM'S LEAD! This second Tottenham goal is all down to the individual quality of Lamela. The Argentina international runs through the middle of the Boro defence and finishes past Mejias to join compatriot Lo Celso on the scoresheet.
12'
Tanganga is getting involved in play high up the pitch. The youngster's cutback is easily dealt with as Boro survive another scare.
11'
Almost a horror moment at the back for Tottenham as Gazzaniga comes off his line and Sanchez, perhaps unaware of his goalkeeper's advancement, heads it back towards goal. Gazzaniga collects to spare his team-mate's blushes.
9'
Woodgate appears to have told his players to step higher up the pitch. Sanchez initially fails to deal with an awkward long ball but manages to get a foot to it while on the ground. Tottenham are looking comfortable here with nearly 10 minutes played.
7'
Boro are struggling to get a foot on the ball, with Tottenham knocking it around in midfield. The ball is worked to Eriksen but Clayton intercepts in the final third.
6'
That was Lo Celso's second goal in Tottenham colours - his first coming against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League two months ago - and it has given the hosts a platform to build on. Mourinho's men are dominating possession.
4'
Credit to Sessegnon for putting Mejias under pressure there in the build-up to Tottenham's early opener. That is not how Jonathan Woodgate would have envisaged the opening couple of minutes panning out.
2'
G. Lo Celso has scored a goal for Tottenham Hotspur!
Tottenham have spent the first couple of minutes patiently probing away. Sessegnon finds himself in some space down the left but his cross is cut out by Howson.
GOOOOAAAALLLL!!!!! TOTTENHAM 1-0 MIDDLESBROUGH!!! LO CELSO GIVES TOTTENHAM AN EARLY LEAD! Boro goalkeeper Mejias attempts to pass his way out of trouble but only succeeds in giving the ball straight to Lo Celso, who cuts inside and tucks it into the bottom-left corner.

KICK-OFF! Tottenham get us up and running in this FA Cup third-round replay. We will play extra-time and penalties if the sides are level at the end of 90 minutes.
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the FA Cup third-round replay between Tottenham and Middlesbrough at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The sides played out a 1-1 draw at the Riverside Stadium nine days ago, Lucas Moura cancelling out Ashley Fletcher's strike. Tottenham are now looking to get the job done on home soil against their second-tier opponents, with a trip to Southampton awaiting the winners of this replay in north London.
Tottenham are on a four-match winless run in all competitions, most recently losing 1-0 to Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday. Jose Mourinho's men are a lowly eighth in the top flight, nine points adrift of the top four, and anything less than victory today would be a major blow. As for Boro, they are unbeaten in six games and are 16th in the Championship, eight points off the play-offs.
Subs: Oliver Skipp, Son Heung-Min, Juan Foyth, Serge Aurier, Michel Vorm, Dele Alli, Dennis Cirkin.
TOTTENHAM XI (4-2-3-1): Paulo Gazzaniga; Japhet Tanganga, Davinson Sanchez, Jan Vertonghen (c), Ryan Sessegnon; Eric Dier, Harry Winks; Giovani Lo Celso, Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela; Lucas Moura.
Subs: Nathan Wood, Rudy Gestede, Connor Malley, George Saville, Solomon Brynn, Patrick Roberts, Marcus Tavernier.
The teams are coming out onto the pitch at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with kick-off just moments away.
MIDDLESBROUGH XI (5-3-2): Tomas Mejias; Djed Spence, Jonny Howson (c), Paddy McNair, Dael Fry, Marvin Johnson; Lewis Wing, Adam Clayton, Ben Liddle; Lukas Nmecha, Ashley Fletcher.
Mourinho will be pretty pleased with Tottenham's first-half display, though their inability to score a third means the tie has not been killed off just yet. Middlesbrough boss Woodgate may opt to change things slightly for the second half, with Gestede and Roberts possible attacking options from the bench.
That's all for today's live coverage. Thanks for joining!
Boosted by a first win in five matches in all competitions, Tottenham return to Premier League action on Saturday with a trip to in-form side Watford. Middlesbrough's Championship play-off push resumes with a trip to Fulham three days from now.
