Williams is shown a yellow card late on for a challenge on Bogle.
90' +2
GREAT SAVE! Rooney is denied a goal against his former club by a superb Romero save. Rooney gets the free-kick up and over the wall, but Romero watches it all the way and gets a strong hand to the ball to help it over the crossbar.
89'
Lindelof slips and Bailly pulls out of a challenge, but Lowe runs out of space to operate in and the ball rolls out of play for a goal-kick. Three minutes have been added on at Pride Park.
88'
Rooney exchanges passes in the final third and, for pretty much the first time today, is given space to get a shot away 25 yards from goal. The ball ends in the stands - not what those travelling United fans were used to seeing during his time at Old Trafford.
86'
United are full of confidence in the closing stages of this one-sided contest. Lingard is proving to be a real threat and is constantly being fouled.
84'
Lingard is clearly fouled by Bird and United have a free-kick around 40 yards from goal. It is played short to Williams down the left, then played across to the right, where Pereira is waiting to cut inside and shoot wide.
82'
WIDE! Lingard improvises with a toe-poked shot from the edge of the box. Roos is happy to watch it trickle wide of the target.
80'
G. Shinnie enters the game and replaces L. Sibley.
B. Williams enters the game and replaces L. Shaw.
Cocu brings on Shinnie for the lively Sibley in his final change of the contest.
Shaw is off and Williams on in United's third change. Shaw departs having netted the opener for the visitors in this straightforward win.
79'
Sibley's long-ranger strikes Bailly and trickles through for Romero to gather. The home fans shout for handball, but it hit the United centre-back on the ribs.

Description
78'
GOOD EFFORT! From pretty much out of nowhere, Marriott gets on the end of Rooney's long pass and fires a first-time shot on target from an angle. Romero dives down to his right to make a fingertip stop.
77'
United are toying with Derby, who could do with the full-time whistle. Shaw's cross is disappointingly overhit straight behind for a goal-kick.
75'
Dalot blazes a shot high and wide from a promising position. United are finding it far too easy to work shooting positions.
73'
A. Martial enters the game and replaces Fred.
Martial is brought on for Fred with United three goals ahead.
72'
Ighalo turns down the chance to take on the shot for his hat-trick. He instead tees up Mata for a strike that is well off target.
71'
Worryingly for Derby, Martial is being stripped down ready to come on.
70'
O. Ighalo has scored a goal for Manchester United!
GOOOOOAAAAALLL!!!! DERBY 0-3 UNITED!!! Ighalo slips in Mata down the right and the return pass sets him up nicely to shoot. The first attempt hits Bogle in front of goal, but he buries his next effort into the roof of the net.
69'
Derby looked good value for a goal in the early stages of the second half, but they have since gone off the boil. Instead it is United who seem the more likely side to score the game's third goal.
67'
J. Marriott enters the game and replaces M. Waghorn.
Andreas Pereira enters the game and replaces Bruno Fernandes.
Fernandes has put in another good shift today. He is replaced by Pereira for the final 23 minutes or so.
Marriott replaces Waghorn in the second of Derby's changes.
66'
BEATEN AWAY! A well-worked United move, with Lingard and Fernandes at the heart of it, culminates in Mata's powerful drive being parried by Roos.
65'
Mata shrugs off a Derby player and has a lot of space to run into. He decides against shooting and instead plays in Fernandes down the right, but the cross is blocked.
64'
E. Bailly gets yellow.
Bailly barges into Sibley, who had just poked the ball past him, to earn himself a yellow card.
63'
SAVE! Roos races off his line to head clear a searching pass before Fernandes can get to it. He is a long way off his line and Mata attempts to ping one in from range, but the Derby keeper gets back to make the save.
62'
McTominay goes in hard on Sibley, clearly still unhappy with the earlier incident that saw the Derby youngster escape punishment.
59'
Just under an hour has been played and United are pretty comfortable given they lead by two goals. Derby have been the better side in the second half, though, and one goal for the hosts will change the complexion of the game entirely.
57'
SHAW DENIED! Shaw is picked out by Fernandes in the box and tries to squeeze a shot past Roos at his near post. The Derby keeper keeps out the attempt with his leg. McTominay pulls a shot wide moments later.
55'
Bogle overhits a cross from the right and Knight is unable to keep the move alive on the opposite side. Derby are on top and need to make this spell of pressure count.
53'
Replays do not look kind for Sibley, who definitely caught McTominay in the face long after the ball had gone. There is no VAR in operation and he escapes any punishment.
52'
United have been really sluggish at the start of the second half. McTominay is not happy with Sibley after being caught in the face by the Derby midfielder's boot while both players were on the floor.
50'
NEARLY! It goes without saying that Derby need the game's next goal if they are to stay alive in the tie. They have started the second half well, with Waghorn directing Bogle's inch-perfect cross spinning inches wide of the far post.
48'
SHOT! Lowe is played in down the left. The full-back has time and space to pick out a team-mate, but his cross for Waghorn is overhit. From the next attacking wave, Bird's shot takes a touch off Lindelof on its way through to Romero, who watches it all the way.
46'
RESTART! United get us back under way at Pride Park, where neither manager made any changes at the interval.
45' +3
HALF-TIME: DERBY COUNTY 0-2 MANCHESTER UNITED
45' +2
W. Rooney gets yellow.
Rooney stops Fred from counter-attacking and is shown a yellow card.
45' +1
Knight pulls the ball back for Waghorn, who puts his foot through it. The shot hits Fred, then Lindelof and then Bailly. Derby appeal for handball in the midst of all that, but referee Craig Pawson waves away the weak appeals.
45'
Three minutes have been added on at the end of the first half at Pride Park.
44'
M. Whittaker enters the game and replaces T. Lawrence.
Lawrence limps off the field against his former club after struggling to shake off the Achilles injury sustained a little earlier. Whittaker is on in his place.
41'
O. Ighalo has scored a goal for Manchester United!
GOOOOAAAAALLLL!!!! DERBY 0-2 UNITED!!! Ighalo doubles United's lead at Pride Park! Shaw threads the ball through to the striker, who squeezes between Lowe and Forsyth before poking a shot past Roos. He gets a little bit of luck with a fortunate bounce, but full credit for tucking it away.
40'
The opening goal has been given to Shaw, but that may well change as it definitely took a touch off Lingard on its way past Roos. In fact, without the deflection it probably would not have looped in. United are looking pretty comfortable at the moment.
38'
PENALTY APPEAL! It looks as though Lawrence will be okay to play on for the time being. Meanwhile, Fernandes' shot hits Evans on the arm inside the box but the referee waves away the penalty appeals. There is no VAR in operation today.
36'
Lawrence hobbles off the pitch. Cocu will wait a couple of minutes before making a decision on whether to take off the Wales international.
33'
L. Shaw has scored a goal for Manchester United!
GOOOOAAAAAALLLLL!!!! DERBY 0-1 UNITED!!! The visitors take the lead through Shaw's fortunate strike. The full-back's shot is hit into the ground and takes a big touch off Lingard, helping it loop over the reach of Roos in the Derby goal.
31'
Fred decides to have a go from a good 30 yards out. His shot is quickly closed down as another United attack fizzles out.
30'
A third of the match has been played and neither side have really done enough to deserve the lead. United have had 67 per cent of the ball but are lacking a cutting edge in the final third.
28'
SAVE! Mata does not have much space to operate in on the edge of the Derby box but he still gets a shot away. He tries to poke it into the bottom left-corner, but Roos gets down to his right to make a fairly routine save.
21'
Rooney is playing very deep for Derby, but he is having a big say on the game. It has been a pretty balanced opening quarter to the fifth-round tie at Pride Park. Remember, this game will go to extra-time and penalties if required.
17'
L. Shaw gets yellow.
Sibley leads a Derby counter and is taken out by Shaw, who is shown the first yellow card of the contest.
Fernandes' shot from range hits a Derby player and goes behind for a corner. The set-piece is headed well clear, but United are now starting to grow into the contest.
16'
Shaw makes a good run in behind and is slipped in by Fernandes. The cutback into the centre is blocked for a corner by Evans.
15'
Solskjaer is urging his players to get higher up the pitch. United have offered very little in an attacking sense so far, failing to create any chances or indeed muster a single shot.
13'
Derby have been the more threatening side so far. Lowe's cross from the left is overhit, but Knight fizzes it in from the other flank. The ball drops in the six-yard box, with Romero getting nowhere near it, though nobody in a white shirt can convert.
11'
JUST WIDE! Sibley charges towards the United box and gets a shot away from around 25 yards, flashing the ball just wide of the right-hand post. Half of the ground thought that was going in!
10'
Neither side have managed to get a shot away so far, blocked or otherwise. United saw a lot of the ball in the first five minutes, but Derby have grown into the contest.
9'
Rooney's floated free-kick is headed to the edge of the box by Dalot. Lawrence wants to take on the shot but he does not have the time to do so.
7'
The ball goes out off Forsyth for the first corner of the match, which comes to little as Derby stand firm.
6'
Mata and Fernandes linked up well against Club Brugge last week and they are looking to build on that today. They exchange passes down the right but Fernandes' cross is blocked.
4'
Bogle's attempted throughball for Rooney takes a touch off a United player and rolls through for Romero to collect.
3'
The visitors are dominating possession in the early stages. Fernandes is dropping deep to start attacking moves, but United are not really getting near the final third.
1'
KICK-OFF! Derby, who knocked United out of the EFL Cup last season, get us up and running at Pride Park.

Derby have defeated Crystal Palace and Northampton Town to make it this far and are aiming to reach the quarter-finals for the first time since 1998-99. Phillip Cocu's side beat Sheffield Wednesday 3-1 in their most recent Championship outing, but they have struggled to string together wins this term and are down in 13th place in the second tier.
