Betis have still managed just the one shot on target today and can have few complaints about the margin of Sevilla's two-goal win. We are into the final 30 seconds or so here.
90' +4
Sevilla are happy to pass the ball around as they see out the contest with ease. Suso takes matters into his own hands by cutting inside and firing a shot off target.
90' +2
Bartra, guilty of giving away a penalty for Sevilla's opener, is seriously struggling out there now. The centre-back will have to carry on because Betis are out of substitutions.
90'
Six minutes have been added on at the Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan, so Sevilla still have some work to do yet if they are to make a winning return to LaLiga action.
88'
Betis defender Bartra is caught on the calf and stays down. After 30 seconds or so he gets back to his feet and play continues.
87'
Fekir cuts the ball back for Joaquin and his shot from the edge of the box is blocked. Fernando shows great defensive awareness by getting to the loose ball ahead of Pedraza in front of goal.
85'
Lainez has looked lively since being brought on. He jinks one way and then the other, only to lose possession of the ball just inside the Sevilla box.
84'
The visiting side are dominating possession as they look for a route back into the game. Sevilla, not helped by their five second-half changes, look a tad disjointed at the moment.
82'
Betis have had some decent opportunities either side of the mass substitutions. With 10 minutes to go, though, it looks as though city rivals Sevilla are home and dry.
Minute
Description
80'
F. Vázquez enters the game and replaces Sergio Reguilón.
Sergio Escudero enters the game and replaces Óliver Torres.
POOR! Betis' best spell in the game has come since falling two goals behind, perhaps knowing that they have nothing to lose. The ball is cut back for Emerson to strike goalwards, but he drags his first-time shot wide from a good position.
Lopetegui is also making full use of his five subs as Vazquez takes over from Reguilon.
The 10th and final change of the game sees Escudero come on for Torres.
78'
Alfonso Pedraza enters the game and replaces Álex Moreno.
A final roll of the dice for Betis now as Pedraza comes on for Moreno.
74'
Suso enters the game and replaces M. El Haddadi.
The injured Munir is replaced by Suso. Lopetegui still has two substitutions available should he wish to use them.
71'
É. Banega enters the game and replaces L. Ocampos.
Y. En-Nesyri enters the game and replaces L. de Jong.
De Jong is off and En-Nesyri on as Lopetegui makes a double change with 20 minutes to go.
Lopetegui turns to his bench for the first time today as the impressive Ocampos makes way for Banega.
69'
Joaquín enters the game and replaces Carles Aleñá.
Loren Morón enters the game and replaces Borja Iglesias.
Rodriguez replaces Alena in a like-for-like central-midfield change.
The visitors' fourth substitution sees Borja replaced by Moron up top.
66'
Sevilla give away the ball high up the pitch. Canales has a chance to shoot but instead shifts it to Lainez, and the substitute also opts against pulling the trigger as the attack fizzles out.
64'
Betis somehow managed to keep the scoreline level at half-time, but Sevilla have had more of a cutting edge about them in the second half. Lopetegui's men are now well on course to a victory that will move them to within six points of second-place Real Madrid.
62'
Fernando has scored a goal for Sevilla! Assist by L. Ocampos.
GOOOOOAAAAALLLL!!!! SEVILLA 2-0 BETIS!!! Ocampos produces a skilful flick at the front post to help on a corner and Fernando gets between two Betis players to guide in a second Sevilla goal with his head. Terrible defending, yet again!
Six minutes after opening the scoring from the spot, Ocampos turns provider with his impressive assist for what is surely a killer second goal.
61'
D. Lainez enters the game and replaces Cristian Tello.
With just over an hour played, Lainez is on for Tello as Rubi makes his second change of the contest.
59'
Robles gets down to gather Ocampos' cross. Lopetegui's side are not looking to sit back on their one-goal lead - they want a second while they are on top.
56'
Penalty goal scored by L. Ocampos for Sevilla!
GOOOOAAAAALLLL!!!! SEVILLA 1-0 REAL BETIS!! Ocampos sends the ball to the right and Robles dives to the left. As cool as you like from the Sevilla winger, and a deserved lead for the hosts.
54'
Marc Bartra gets yellow.
Barta is booked for bundling into the back of De Jong. Further punishment could follow from the penalty...
53'
Reguilon picks up the ball in space inside the box and feeds it to Ocampos, who delays the shot for too long and is dispossessed. Sevilla are showing a serious lack of end product.
51'
The hosts really are knocking on the door for a breakthrough goal now. Betis are seriously holding on as another corner is conceded, though it is worked short and cut out before it arrives in the box.
49'
Emerson Royal gets yellow.
Emerson slides in on Munir and is shown the game's first yellow card.
46'
Z. Feddal enters the game and replaces Sidnei.
RESTART! Sevilla, looking to strengthen their hold on third place in LaLiga with victory today, get us back underway at the Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan.
Betis make a half-time change, with Feddal replacing Sidnei at the back.
45' +2
SAVE! Sevilla hit their opponents on the counter and Ocampos takes on a long-range shot early. Robles is unable to keep it under control but the loose ball is cleared and the referee blows for half-time.
HALF-TIME: SEVILLA 0-0 REAL BETIS
45' +1
De Jong has had a pretty disappointing first half. He tries to turn on the edge of the box but is dispossessed.
45'
Two minutes have been added on at the end of a largely one-sided first half at the Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan.
44'
Sevilla are certainly not shy to get in crosses. This latest delivery from the right is cut out by Moreno for another corner. The set-piece is half-cleared as far as Reguilon, who is unable to pick out a team-mate with his clipped pass.
42'
Munir works the channels well by chasing down a pass and bringing it inside. He picks out team-mate De Jong in the box, but the subsequent cross is cut out by a Betis player.
40'
This has arguably been Betis' best spell of the game in terms of meaningful possession in the opposition half. They have yet to create anything of note, however, whereas two big opportunities have come and gone for Sevilla.
38'
Just as Betis were starting to build some momentum by knocking the ball around in the opposition half, captain Canales lets fly from more than 30 yards out and only succeeds in finding the stands.
36'
Rubi's side are ultimately doing enough to keep the scoreline level as we fast approach half-time. Munir again does well to play in a cross from out wide, which Sidnei is this time equal to at the expense of a corner.
34'
Emerson and Fekir exchange passes out wide but the latter gives away a needless free-kick and the rare Betis attack comes to a disappointing end.
32'
The visitors have every player back behind the ball as Sevilla attempt to work it forward from the back. Ocampos bursts clear down the right and plays it centrally to Reguilon, whose shot from just inside the box is blocked.
30'
With half an hour played, the game is halted for a short drinks break. Betis will be hoping to use the stoppage to their advantage - they have been second best so far.
28'
Sevilla are continuing to probe away in search of an opening goal. There may not be any spectators in attendance today, but the home team certainly seem well up for this derby clash.
26'
Betis are attempting to string some passes together, but their opponents are simply not allowing them to. That said, the visitors have edged possession so far - 53 per cent to Sevilla's 47.
22'
Rubi will be pleased that his side are still level with nearly a quarter of the contest played. Sevilla have been the better side, managing four shots so far, creating one big opportunity for Kounde and hitting the bar through Ocampos.
20'
The really was a big chance for Kounde, and one the centre-back should have been burying when left unmarked that close to goal. Betis have looked very nervy at the back so far.
17'
Moreno wins a corner for the visitors but it comes to little. Fekir showed a nice piece of skill in the previous move, suggesting that Betis are indeed starting to find their feet.
14'
Betis are slowly starting to settle down. Credit to Sevilla, though, because they are barely giving their city rivals a moment to breathe on the ball.
12'
Ocampos goes on a one-man mission as he takes the ball past a couple of opposition players, but he slightly overhits it and Robles clears. Sevilla keep the pressure up and De Jong heads the ball into the air, allowing Robles to again gather.
9'
Yet more sloppy play from the visitors almost leads to the opening goal. Robles plays a terrible pass out to Bartra and the defender is surrounded by Sevilla players. Robles is left stranded but his team-mate just about manages to clear the ball.
7'
Sevilla are starting to grow into the game a little more. Munir gets forward down the left and tries to pick out Campos. The pass is behind Munir, however, and Sidnei is able to clear.
5'
The first corner of the match is won by Sevilla. The ball is whipped in towards the near post, where a Betis player gets to it first. The ball comes back in, but Betis goalkeeper Robles grabs it with both hands.
3'
It has been a nervy start in Seville! There has already been a stray pass or two at both ends of the field, but neither team could pounce on their opponents' error.

KICK-OFF! Following a minute's silence to remember those who have lost their lives to coronavirus, Real Betis get the El Gran Derbi up and running!
Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the LaLiga clash between Sevilla and Real Betis at the Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan.
Following a three-month hiatus owing to the coronavirus pandemic, football returns in Spain's top flight with arguably the country's most passionate derby. The sides are separated by 14 points in the table, with Sevilla occupying third place and Betis down in 12th.
Sevilla were unbeaten in four league matches prior to the coronavirus-enforced shutdown and had lost only one of their last seven games. As for bitter rivals Betis, they ended a poor run of form with an impressive 2-1 victory over Real Madrid last time out to move eight points clear of the relegation zone.
SEVILLA XI (4-3-3): Tomas Vaclik; Jesus Navas (c), Diego Carlos, Jules Kounde, Sergio Reguilon; Oliver Torres, Fernando, Joan Jordan; Munir El Haddadi, Luuk de Jong, Lucas Ocampos.
Subs: Edgar Gonzalez, Andres Guardado, Loren Moron, Diego Lainez, Aissa Mandi, Joaquin, Rodri, William Carvalho, Antonio Barragan, Dani Martin, Alfonso Pedraza, Zouhair Feddal.
BETIS XI (4-3-3): Joel Robles; Emerson, Marc Bartra, Alex Moreno; Sergio Canales (c), Guido Rodriguez, Carles Alena; Nabil Fekir, Borja Iglesias, Cristian Tello.
Sevilla won the reverse fixture 2-1 and are looking to complete the league double over Real Betis for the first time since 2016-17. Today's hosts have won five of their last six LaLiga meetings with Betis at the Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan, with the only defeat during that time coming in January 2018.
The teams are coming out onto the pitch at the Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan, with kick-off just moments away in this behind-closed-doors clash. What a fixture to restart the 2019-20 LaLiga campaign!
Betis edged possession in the first half, but they failed to register a shot on target and did little to trouble Sevilla's defence. Rubi may be tempted to change things slightly at the break, with both managers able to make a maximum of five substitutions today.
Having tightened their grip on third place, Sevilla can now prepare for their trip to Levante next week. As for beaten rivals Betis, next up for them is the visit of Granada in four days' time.
That's all for today's live coverage. Thanks for joining!
