The visitors are bearing down with everything they have got here. There's going to be time for one last corner - and it is skied away by Kessie from distance!
90' +2
Milan are let off as a Genoa counter-turned-corner is punched away loosely by Donnarumma, who then wins a free-kick for an off-the-ball foul before a return shot can be blasted in.
90'
We're going to have four minutes of added time here. Does either side have a winner in them?
88'
Calhanoglu fires the free-kick in and sees a deflection off a Genoa defender. He races to take the corner and that too is batted back out of the box before Perin wins a free-kick for a Leao barge.
87'
I. Radovanović gets yellow.
Having been on the field for only a few minutes, Radovanovic promptly gets booked, conceding a dangerous free-kick 30 or so yards out for a sloppy challenge. This is brilliant territory for Milan...
85'
I. Radovanović enters the game and replaces E. Shomurodov.
Genoa make a late change now, with Shomurodov replaced by Ivan Radovanovic.
83'
P. Kalulu has scored a goal for AC Milan! Assist by A. Romagnoli.
Rafael Leão gets yellow.
GOAL! PIERRE KALULU LEVELS FOR MILAN! 2-2! The Rossoneri have their equaliser! The defender pokes it in at close range after Romagnoli gets a low-placed header down to earth from the corner, pouncing to put it past Perin! It's all to play for now!
Would Romagnoli have found the net there himself? Unlikely, as Perin had it covered - at least until Kalulu snatched the ball and nudged it home. Genoa are brought back to earth. They'll fight for a well-earned point now, surely.
Leao has picked up a booking in the build-up to this set-piece too. Milan take their time...
81'
The set-piece comes to nothing, spirited away back downfield by Genoa, but a moment later, Milan win themselves another corner out on the right edge. Can this be the moment?
79'
It's going to be a Milan corner after a looping cross is tucked behind with a deft defensive header. What can Stefano Pioli do to switch this one up?
Minute
Description
77'
Brahim Díaz enters the game and replaces S. Tonali.
Milan make another swap of their own in short order, adding Brahim Diaz for Tonali.
76'
V. Behrami enters the game and replaces S. Sturaro.
G. Scamacca enters the game and replaces M. Destro.
Local hero Destro has played his part for the hosts now, who bring on Gianluca Scamacca.
Genoa also add Valon Behrami in place of Sturaro.
73'
Genoa are snapping around this pitch with paradoxically frantic and methodical abandon. They're on the cusp of a huge result for their season if they can hold off the league leaders here.
71'
Milan are starting to push forth more, finding some purchase down the wings again. They have around two-dozen minutes or so - when injury time is said and done - to find their response.
69'
F. Melegoni enters the game and replaces M. Pjaca.
Genoa make their latest change now, replacing Pjaca with Filippo Melegoni.
66'
Has there been an element of underestimation here? You'd assume that, were this Inter or Juventus, Milan would have not rested the recovering Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He'd have been a bench option at the very least.
64'
Milan did leave it late to snatch a point against Parma last time out, of course - their first Serie A draw since November 8 - but they'll want to be taking three points from this one. The clock is on.
62'
We've got less than half an hour on the clock now and Milan need to find two goals for a win. It is far from implausible - but can they come back from being rocked twice?
60'
M. Destro has scored a goal for Genoa! Assist by P. Ghiglione.
GOAL! MATTIA DESTRO BAGS A BRACE FOR GENOA! 2-1! The striker has put his side in front again! This time, he rises for an almost pedestrian cross from Ghiglione, and bounces a brazen header in at the left post! Milan look flabbergasted!
Well, this wasn't part of the script the league leaders were reading from. Ghiglione is the man with that delivery and Milan really should do better to clear it - but that ball loops its way right into the right place at the right time.
59'
A Milan free-kick inside Genoa territory sparks a flurry of complaints from the hosts. They get a few stern words from the referee and the chance then fizzles out entirely with a poor placement.
57'
That lead for Genoa was short-lived, wasn't it? But that is the mark of a champion team, one who can immediately rise from the canvas after a heavy blow to return fire with one of their own.
53'
J. Hauge enters the game and replaces A. Rebić.
Samu Castillejo gets yellow.
A. Saelemaekers enters the game and replaces Samu Castillejo.
That goal has sparked a Milan change too, with Alexis Saelemaekers on for Castillejo.
The visitors also replace Rebic with Jens Petter Hauge.
Kessie has picked up a booking for something as the game restarts. It's hard to actually say what for, but either way, he's been shown a yellow.
52'
D. Calabria has scored a goal for AC Milan! Assist by H. Çalhanoğlu.
Calhanoglu is the man to lay on that ball there and it feels almost innocuous. Genoa certainly seemed to be expecting a return delivery rather than a shot. Emphatic from Milan.
GOAL! DAVIDE CALABRIA LEVELS FOR MILAN! 1-1! What a strike from the right-back! He picks up a pass from Calhanoglu outside the box, plays it from his left to right foot and rifles a shot from distance, low and unnerving, past Perin into the far bottom corner. Normal service resumed for the visitors.
51'
Now comes the real test for both sides' mettle in this match though. Can Genoa pick up a second win of the season? Or can Milan wrestle this one back to further solidify those title credentials?
49'
What an absolute blow that is for the Rossoneri. They have been the superior side statistically but they will be ruing their missed chances now. A clinical poacher's goal has put Genoa in momentary dreamland.
47'
M. Destro has scored a goal for Genoa!
GOAL! MATTIA DESTRO HANDS GENOA THE LEAD! 1-0! What a moment that is for the hosts! They launch a blistering break and square the ball to Shomurodov, sandwiched in the visitors' box. His shot is parried but his partner is there to tap in the rebound. Milan trail moments after the break!
46'
L. Czyborra enters the game and replaces L. Pellegrini.
There's been a change for the hosts at the break as they look to keep themselves in this contest, with Lennart Czyborra drafted on in place of Pellegrini.
We're back underway for the second half in Serie A. Will Genoa be able to hold out here for a crucial result in their relegation fight? Or can Milan power onward to victory?
45'
HALF-TIME: GENOA 0-0 MILAN
43'
There's still nothing to separate these two sides as we close in on the break, but Milan have massed the greater number of chances on the whole. They'll be frustrated to be on level terms.
41'
Castillejo tumbles over on the edge of the Genoa box and stays down, but the referee waves play on. He isn't clutching any limb in pain right now, but does look a bit winded.
35'
The hosts whip it away and counter - so fast, in fact, that Donnarumma is forced to sail out of his box with a sliding challenge. His rush of blood to the head pays off - but it was close to a hard foul.
33'
Leao lays on Calabria down the left edge now, as the pair swap from the right flank, and win a corner for themselves in the process. Genoa head it straight out for a second.
29'
Destro does bring down Calabria now though, hunting the defender into his own box, and it will be a free-kick for Milan.
27'
A spell of Milan pressure builds to nothing, while Castillejo gets into an arm-wrestle on the wing with two Genoa men. This has been more balanced than some will have expected.
25'
A. Romagnoli gets yellow.
Romagnoli looks to have been in a bit of a tit-for-tat with Shomurodov so far and now it is Milan with a booking for a cynical foul. The defender is unhappy with the call; it might not be the last say on the matter.
22'
Calhanoglu shrugs off Lerager, then draws him back in for a second nibble and a tumble. Milan win the free-kick a few yards out from the edge of Genoa's penalty box, in centre-field.
20'
The hosts respond to that decision with a swift break down the right wing, with Ghiglione wafting a long ball over the heads of his attackers as they lurk near the six-yard area.
18'
L. Pellegrini gets yellow.
The defensive work could be described as "robust" in a certain light, and it was only going to be a matter of time before a booking was shown. It's Pellegrini handed a yellow for a stocky challenge.
17'
Castillejo goes to ground deep into Genoa territory, seeking a probable free-kick. Nothing comes his way, though Milan do have a dangerous throw-in ultimately cleared from the hosts' box.
15'
Genoa - in their traditional black and red - are finding more purchase through route one today. Milan - decked out in white - prefer the wings, against that blocky four-four-two formation.
13'
Opportunities at both ends so far, and that suggests that this could be closer than predicted. Milan still look far more ruthless on the counter though, Genoa's defence straining to contain them.
11'
Romagnoli gets the last touch on the swinging set-piece and botches an attempted hook shot to put the ball out of play. Genoa retain possession through Perin's restart.
10'
Samu Castillejo now loosens Milan's first real crack at goal from the resulting move out down the right wing, just pulling his effort wide. The visitors break down the left flank next and earn a corner.
8'
Shomurodov draws a scrappy foul in the centre-circle to help the hosts buy a little respite from a potential free-flowing move. The striker fires a shot in a moment later and wins a deflected corner.
6'
Milan sniff around the edge of the Genoa box with some sustained pressure and yet fail to pull the trigger, allowing the hosts to shuffle them back into their own half to regroup.
4'
Some half-opportunities for each team in their respective final thirds, but nothing too exhilarating to report as they test each other out.
2'
Calhanoglu is caught by Pjaca on the halfway line and the latter may be lucky to escape an early booking. Both sides seem spirited across these opening exchanges.

We are underway in this Serie A clash between Genoa and Milan!
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the 2020-21 Serie A season as leaders Milan look to keep their hold on the summit against relegation-threatened Genoa at Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
Stefano Pioli's side sit atop the summit heading into the festive period; the ex-Fiorentina man has the Rossoneri dreaming of bigger things this term. They'll hope to take three points today.
Rolando Maran has won just the three games from 13 in charge since he arrived at Genoa in August though. He penned a two-year deal back then; his tenure remains under threat.
Cakewalk or upset though? That is the question. This has the hallmarks of a breezy Milan win on paper - but Pioli will be very wary of a shock reverse and a blow to their title hopes.
The teams are poised to emerge at Stadio Luigi Ferraris and we'll be moments away from kick-off.
A point against the league leaders? Rolando Maran will be delighted if his side can boast that after the next 45 minutes or so. Stefano Pioli knows this is no time to panic yet though.
There can be no complaint with the result there for the performance from both sides. On a day where they could have easily buckled, Genoa handed their hopes of surviving a relegation dogfight a shot in the arm - and their visitors have kept onto their Serie A momentum, even if it is two draws from two now.
Stefano Pioli will be happy to have Zlatan Ibrahimovic back though, surely? His side weren't toothless in front of goal but they might have converted some extra chances with the Swede in the frame.
It gets no easier for Milan though next time; after dropping points against a bottom-three side, they must hope to beat a top four hopeful in the shape of Sassuolo. Genoa meanwhile face Benevento - but until then, thank you for joining us and have a good week!
