Nsame commits a cynical foul on Klaassen and he becomes the final name in the referee's book.
90' +3
Martinez is down holding his chest after a collision with Lauper and it looks like the centre-back is in some serious pain. Perhaps due to it being near the end of the game, Martinez returns to his feet, despite clearly struggling.
90' +1
Mambimbi drifts towards the back post but Maceiras' inswinging cross floats over the substitute forward's head and out of play. Stekelenburg takes the goal-kick short and Ajax are almost toying with their opposition around their own area.

87'
Kudus offloads to Tadic on the left flank, however, his cross towards the back post for Brobbery gets intercepted by the head of Rieder. The visitors then regain possession as they continue to pin Young Boys in their own half.
85'
Rieder nearly sneaks in through the middle but his touch lets him down and Schuurs launches a clearance out of play. None of that would have counted, however, as the assistant has their flag up for offside in the build-up.
83'
Kudus and Idrissi want to counter-attack but Klaassen shows his experience, instead opting to play sidewards to Schuurs and retain possession. The visitors then work it around the back as they coast towards the Europa League quarter-finals.

Minute
Description
79'
Antony keeps coming inside onto his left foot and, on this occasion, he ignores the run of Klaassen, attempting to find Idrissi instead. The Brazilian looks like he has set-up his team-mate on the opposite flank until Hefti steps in and clears long.
75'
Rensch slides in late on Rieder and the Ajax man needs to be careful, given he has already been cautioned moments ago. Nevertheless, play resumes with a quick Young Boys free-kick out towards the left flank.
74'
S. Klaiber enters the game and replaces N. Tagliafico.
Ten Hag, perhaps with one eye on the next round, brings off Tagliafico for Klaiber.
73'
D. Rensch gets yellow.
Rensch goes down screaming after a clash with Maceiras in the air. Despite his protestations, it is the Ajax right-back who goes into the book for his late attempts at an aerial challenge.
72'
Idrissi and Antony both have opportunities to shoot, however, they both manage to fall on the floor under relatively litte pressure. More and more chances keep coming for Ajax and Ten Hag's men could easily have added to their aggregate lead in the last few minutes or so.
71'
G. Gaudino enters the game and replaces C. Fassnacht.
M. Spielmann enters the game and replaces M. Sulejmani.
Gaudino is Seoane's next change and he comes on for Fassnacht.
At the same time as Gaudino's introduction, the hosts also send on Spielmann.
70'
Kudus and Idrissi evade multiple tackles, with the latter sprinting away down the left-hand channel. The substitute makes it to the edge of the area but he can't find Tadic on the right and Young Boys intercept.
69'
Maceiras' first touch invites pressure and Antony duly obliges. The hosts, however, make it out the Ajax press but the chance fades away as Nsame sees his heavy pass race through to Stekelenburg instead of his intended target Sulejmani.
67'
Kudus' first involvement sees him shrug off a few tackles in midfield before losing possession towards the left flank. Rensch then leads the visitors' attack down the right, however, the move breaks down at the hands of Fassnacht.
65'
O. Idrissi enters the game and replaces David Neres.
F. Mambimbi enters the game and replaces M. Elia.
M. Kudus enters the game and replaces D. Blind.
F. Rieder enters the game and replaces M. Camara.
Blind wanders off and he will be replaced by Kudus.
Elia, who was the reason Alvarez's own goal was ruled out by VAR, comes off for Mambimbi.
Rieder comes on for centre-back Camara, who was booked in the first half.
Ten Hag also sends on Idrissi as he gives, scorer of the first goal, Neres a rest.
64'
Sulejmani drifts in from the right-hand side, after switching flanks with Fassnacht, but he can only send his tame left-footed effort comfortably into the hands of Stekelenburg.
63'
Tadic pokes through for Neres, who evades the sliding tackle from Camara. The Brazilian looks to shoot, however, Faivre is aware of the danger, racing out to collect the loose ball before having to make a save.
61'
Stekelenburg comes racing off his line and out of his area to intervene before Fassnacht can latch onto a throughball between Martinez and Alvarez. Sulejmani then attempts to find space outside the area but Blind nips in.
58'
Antony has acres of space to attack through the middle and it looks like he is set to test Faivre until Maceiras gets involved at the back.
57'
Nsame gets around Martinez but then fails to direct a pass back across goal and the hosts have to settle for a corner-kick.
52'
Lauper delivers his set-piece, after the referee has had a word with both Camara and Tagliafico, but the ball is cleared by the visitors. Young Boys then try to recycle it and cross into the middle, however, Gravenberch sticks out a leg to intervene.
51'
Fassnacht comes deep to receive possession, drifting inwards and unleashing a right-footed effort towards goal. Stekelenburg looks comfortable as he watches the strike sail over the bar.
50'
Young Boys may feel hard done by with that Tadic penalty but the replays did show Camara's arm up in the air and Faivre deflecting the ball into his centre-back's hand. If their task wasn't already impossible, it is now.
49'
Penalty goal scored by D. Tadić for Ajax!
GOOOOALLLL! 2-0 AJAX! Tadic slowly steps up to his penalty, whipping it into the bottom right corner. Faivre dives the right way, getting a hand to Tadic's strike but the goalkeeper still can't stop it from going in. Ten Hag's men now lead 5-0 on aggregate in this tie.
46'
Q. Maceiras enters the game and replaces J. Lefort.
Lefort is replaced by Maceiras at half-time by the hosts.
Both sets of players are back out and the second half gets underway!
45' +1
HALF-TIME: YOUNG BOYS 0-1 AJAX
44'
Tadic stalls inside the area as he waits for the run of his team-mates, however, this allows Camara to recover and clear away when the visitors' captain does eventually look for the pass. Young Boys are in need of the half-time whistle as Ajax continue to dominate this tie.
42'
Sierro waves his arms at the referee as if to suggest a foul by Blind but the officials aren't buying it. Fassnacht then finds space on the right-hand side and his cross sails into the hands of Stekelenberg, who obviously wasn't the intended target.
41'
Neres, Tadic and Antony keep playing amongst themselves and causing Young Boys real problems. This time it is Neres and Tadic, who exchange a one-two with the Brazilian seeing his later attempts to cross blocked by Camara near the byline.
40'
Tagliafico once again overlaps Neres but on this occasion the Brazilian fails to roll in his left-back. Elia then thinks he is in on the counter-attack, however, the forward slips and Alvarez sweeps up any potential danger.
38'
M. Camara gets yellow.
Camara shoves over his opposite man in the area off the ball and the referee deems it enough to make the centre-back his first booking of the game.
37'
Elia nearly finds a way through over the top, latching onto Fassnacht's long ball. Unfortunately for the home side, the forward's first touch lets him down and Alvarez intercepts.
36'
Antony and Tadic lead the attack, with the former racing on to a one-two to win a corner on the right. Gravenberch delivers the outswinging set-piece but evades all of his team-mates and travels out for a throw-in on the far side.
35'
Gravenberch goes down holding his ankle after a rather needless tackle from Lauper. The midfielder is fine to continue, however, and Ajax get back underway with a free-kick to the right-hand side.
33'
Tadic races through the right-hand channel, reaching the corner of the six-yard area, where he powers a right-footed effort towards the near post. Faivre, however, stands tall to turn it around the post for a corner, which Tadic will also take.
32'
Nsame feeds out wide to Fassnacht but he fails to find Elia in the middle and the visitors manage to clear. Lefort goes over to take the throw-in and the home side will be wondering how they get back into this Europa League tie.
31'
Young Boys break from an Ajax corner and for a moment have an overload, but Nsame's touch again lets him down.
29'
Ajax are just getting more of a foothold, now. This is their game to control – it is Young Boys who have to do the chasing.
24'
On the turn, Sierro plays a brilliant pass through the lines into Nsame but, with several options on, he hits a pass straight through to Stekelenburg.
20'
David Neres has scored a goal for Ajax!
GOOOAAALLLL!! AJAX TAKE THE LEAD! That flurry of action results in an opener, with the visitors countering at pace. Tadic prods through a pass which takes a combination of deflections and falls kindly for Neres to tuck home beyond the despairing Fairve.
14'
Fassnacht meets the resulting corner, with Stekelenburg caught in no man's land. However, the winger turns his header off target.
9'
Tadic found space around 40 yards out and spread a neat pass out to his left, with Tagliafico rushing on. The full-back got there, only to slip as he entered the box, and the move broke down.
7'
Two classic formations going up against each other today, with Young Boys lining up in a 4-4-2 and Ajax, as would be expected, playing 4-3-3. The visitors are certainly outnumbering their hosts in midfield, but the Swiss side are getting plenty of players forward.
5'
Meschak Elia certainly has pace to burn and he has just offered the first real threat to Ajax's defence. He squared up his marker and got to the byline, only to slice his cross out of play.
3'
The trick for Ten Hag will have been preparing his team for a real battle today, no matter the state of play in the tie. The visitors have started on the front foot, and will be looking to snatch an early goal to really put this tie to bed.

Ten Hag's men lead 4-0 on aggregate and, barring a minor miracle, they should be through to the quarter-finals. The away side could look to protect their stars, such as Antony and Neres, so they may bring on the likes of Traore or Brobbery early in the second half. Seoane will be asking for more of his men, who have improved from the first leg, in the next 45 as they go in search of their first goal in this Europa League tie.
That is all from this Europa League last-16 clash, until next time!
Ten Hag's side will find out their quarter-final opponents in Saturday's draw before hosting ADO Den Haag in the Eredivisie, where they sit eight points clear of second-placed PSV. The Swiss side can be proud of their efforts in this competition, however, their run is over at the last-16 stage and their next task will be confirming their Swiss Super League title in the coming weeks.
