Hello and welcome to live coverage of the World Cup Qualifier in Group A between Republic of Ireland and Luxembourg at the Aviva Stadium!

Ireland had some good spells of possession in the first half, but too often when they got into Luxembourg's half, they gave the ball away cheaply and Kenny will want to see that change after the break. As for Luxembourg, they've looked dangerous when breaking forward, but Holtz will expect more from his team in the final third in the second half.
Luxembourg stay in third, just one point behind Serbia and Portugal, who played out a draw in the other group match today, having played a game less. It's a tough test for them next time out though as they welcome Portugal. Ireland have lost their opening two qualifiers, dropping to the bottom of the table. Next up for them is a friendly against Qatar on Tuesday.
