Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Premier League meeting between Manchester United and Liverpool at Old Trafford!
This game was supposed to kick off in half an hour but has been pushed back because of fans taking to the pitch in protest against the club's owners on the back of the European Super League proposals a couple of weeks ago. The teams are still yet to travel to the stadium and it's unclear when the match will actually go ahead as of yet.
After Manchester City's win yesterday, the title could be wrapped up for them if United lose here today. But, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men are unbeaten in their last seven games in all competitions (W6 D1) and haven't lost any of their previous 13 Premier League matches. Liverpool are still fighting for a top-four finish and are unbeaten in their last five league outings (W3 D2), but they've drawn their last three in all competitions.
MANCHESTER UNITED STARTING XI (4-2-3-1): Dean Henderson; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw; Scott McTominay, Fred; Mason Greenwood, Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba; Marcus Rashford.
MANCHESTER UNITED SUBS: Eric Bailly, Brandon Williams, David de Gea, Edinson Cavani, Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata, Donny van de Beek, Axel Tuanzebe, Alex Telles.
LIVERPOOL STARTING XI (4-3-3): Alisson; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Nathaniel Phillips, Ozan Kabak, Andy Robertson; Thiago Alcantara, Fabinho, James Milner; Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane.
LIVERPOOL SUBS: Rhys Williams, Diogo Jota, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Curtis Jones, Konstantinos Tsimikas, Adrian, Georginio Wijnaldum, Xherdan Shaqiri.
Still no news yet on when the game will be kicking off after the protests, but the fans have been cleared out of Old Trafford now. The teams are still at the hotels though, with only the referee currently at the stadium.
The match has been officially called off, with the Manchester United players still at their team hotel. A new kick-off time is expected to be confirmed shortly.
The two clubs and the Premier League will now discuss a date and time for the match to be held. We will, of course, bring you all the coverage right here when the game takes place!
Manchester United said in a statement: "Our fans are passionate about Manchester United, and we completely acknowledge the right to free expression and peaceful protest. However, we regret the disruption to the team and actions which put other fans, staff, and the police in danger. We thank the police for their support and will assist them in any subsequent investigations."
