Meanwhile Southampton suffered a 2-0 defeat against Leeds United on Tuesday to leave them 14th in the table and they could move up to 12th with a win today.
West Ham have just missed out on a Champions League place this season, but victory today would guarantee them a spot in the Europa League. They are currently sixth on 62 points, with Tottenham and Everton just behind them and also in contention. The Hammers beat West Brom 3-1 last time out.
As it stands West Ham have guaranteed themselves a Europa League spot and they look pretty comfortable at the moment. Southampton have a lot to improve on if they are to get anything out of this game.
