The reigning champions Portugal get their Euro 2020 campaign underway in a tough group that also contains Germany and France. They qualified as second in their group, behind Ukraine, but come into this game unbeaten in their last six in all competitions (W4 D2). Hungary qualified through the play-offs, beating Iceland 2-1 to secure their place in the tournament. They're unbeaten in their last 11 matches in all competitions (W7 D4), but face a difficult task of reaching the last 16 like they did five years ago.

It was a frustrating first half for Portugal and they were let down by their quality in the final third and in front of goal, which Santos will want to see change in the second half. Hungary stayed strong defensively, but Rossi will want to try and take more risks if they want to pull off a shock after the break.
