The teams are out on the pitch now, with kick-off just moments away!
Chelsea are playing their first game back since the World Cup break, and they'll be hoping to turn things around. After going on a nine-match unbeaten run after Graham Potter's appointment, their form has dipped, and they've lost four of their last five in all competitions (W1). They've suffered defeat in their last four domestic competitive games, including their last three in the Premier League. As for Bournemouth, Gary O'Neil's first match after being made the club's permanent manager ended in a 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United which saw them knocked out of the EFL Cup last Tuesday. They had won their last two outings in all competitions before the break though.
CHELSEA SUBS: Conor Gallagher, Cesar Azpilicueta, Bashir Humphreys, Carney Chukwuemeka, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Lewis Hall, Omari Hutchinson, Marcus Bettinelli, Trevoh Chalobah.
Potter will be pleased with his side's performance so far, especially after scoring in the first half after a run of five without finding the back of the net before the break. He'll be looking for more of the same. Bournemouth did start to find their rhythm as the half went on, but they need to find a way to get their front two involved if they want to test Chelsea.
That's all for today, goodbye!
Chelsea end a three-match losing run in competitive games, and three points today moves them back above Fulham into eighth place. Next up for them is a trip to Nottingham Forest on Sunday. Bournemouth stay in 14th, and they'll be looking to bounce back against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
