Just two minutes off stoppage time to be played at the Rhein Neckar Arena. Can Hoffenheim set up a grandstand finish of sorts? Yeah I seriously doubt it too.
89'
J. Hofmann enters the game and replaces M. Götze.
Final sub for BVB as Gotze goes off to be replaced by Jonas Hofmann. A decent day at the office for Super Mario.
88'
That wasn't a clever looking challenge from Matthieu Delpierre. He lunges at Lewandowski inside the area with studs showing but he gets the ball. Lewandowski wasn't happy but Meyer was unmoved.
86'
A really disappointing second half display from Hoffenheim. They gave themselves a decent platform at the break but just a few splashes of class from their opponents has floored them.
83'
O. Kirch enters the game and replaces M. Reus.
Time for another substitute for Dortmund as Marco Reus makes way for Oliver Kirch.
82'
The victory looks assured now and means that Dortmund will move back up to third on goal difference and close the gap on Bayern Munich to 12 points at the top.
79'
Things aren't getting any better for the hosts. Having used all their subs, Sebastian Rudy has gone off for some treatment on a nasty looking knock and Hummels almost adds a fourth from a corner. Damage limitation for the home side now.
77'
The stuffing appears to have been knocked out of Hoffenheim. They're second to every ball at the moment and Dortmund are beginning to bring out the showboat. The mood in the stadium is being reflected by the weather here. Miserable.
74'
I. Perišić enters the game and replaces K. Großkreutz.
Kevin Grosskuertz is going to make way for Ivan Perisic. He'll be happy with his contribution today and his opening goal of the campaign.
72'
Poor effort from Salihovic. The Hoffenheim midfielder blasts carelessly over after his side had worked their way into a dangerous position.

Description
70'
Roberto Firmino enters the game and replaces T. Weis.
It was a bad miss but I don't think this is the reason he's coming off. Tobias Weis leaves the field under the cloud of that miss and is replaced by Firmino.
69'
What a chance for Weis to get his side back into this. Schrock's cross is headed straight into the air by substitute Ochs and Weis is the only player under it when it comes back down but he can only put his header woefully wide from less than 6-yards.
66'
R. Lewandowski has scored a goal for Borussia Dortmund! Assist by İ. Gündoğan.
GOALLLL!!! 3-1 to Dortmund! Well I think that answers my question. Lewandoski produces a glorious finish to put daylight between the sides. he bundles into the area and his forced wide by Casteels but the Pole lifts his effort nonchalantly over the keeper and into the roof of the net from a tight angle. Great finish.
65'
We've got 25 minutes to go here. Can Hoffenheim find a way back into this?
62'
P. Ochs enters the game and replaces K. Volland.
Joselu enters the game and replaces S. Schipplock.
a couple of subs for the home side as they look for a way back into this. The goalscorer Schipplock has gone off but Joselu makes his way off the bench to return from injury. Can he drag his side back into this?
61'
IT SHOULD BE 3! Fantastic delivery from Reus once again and Lewandowski rises highest to meet it but can only direct his header across goal and wide. I don't know what was said by Klopp at halftime but it's made a difference.
58'
K. Großkreutz has scored a goal for Borussia Dortmund! Assist by M. Reus.
GOALL!!!! DORTMUND RETAKE THE LEAD!!! Lovely move from the visitors. Gotze slips through Reus with a slide-rule pass and he in turn unselfishly rolls the ball across goal for Grosskuertz to put into an empty net. Really nice goal from the champions and they're ahead.
56'
Now it's Hoffenheim's turn to threaten. Schipplock gets in behind Dortmund and chips a clever ball back to Salihovic on the edge of the area. The midfielder is given time to shoot but he doesn't catch his effort quite right and it hits Subotic and is cleared.
54'
Cracking save from Casteels again! Dortmund have defintely started the brighter this half and it's Mats Hummels of all people testing the fingertips of the Hoffenheim stopper after he'd stayed up after a free-kick.
53'
T. Weis gets yellow.
BIG CHANCE for Reus! The former Gladbach man is slipped through and has the chance to slip the ball past Casteels from 8-yards but the keeper stands strong and saves well.
50'
Gotze tiptoes his way down the right flank and swings in a delivery which sees a couple of halfhearted shouts for a penalty from the visiting supporters but there's nothing doing for referee Meyer.
48'
Reus has the opportunity to swing in a free-kick after Rudy's foul on Gotze but Subotic is adjudged to foul his marker as the ball comes in and the chance is gone.
46'
We're back underway courtesy of Hoffenheim. A couple of substitutes went through a rigorous warm-up at the break but no changes as of yet.
44'
Good save by Casteels to keep out an effort from Gotze. He goes for the near post again from outside the area but the keeper has it covered on this occasion.
42'
Reus losses the ball in the area to bring an end to a promising Dortmund attack. They've not been firing on all cylinders at all this afternoon.
39'
Hoffenheim are utilising the crossfield ball to good effect at the moment. The two fullbacks filling in are struggling with the aerial ball.
37'
I was just about to say that Dortmund still looked sloppy despite going ahead but that really was poor from Dortmund's back four. They didn't get near either Volland or Schipplock and were made to pay.
35'
S. Schipplock has scored a goal for Hoffenheim! Assist by K. Volland.
GOALL!!! Hoffenheim are level! Great team goal as Sven Schipplock restores parity. A cross-field ball is then played up the park into the path of Kevin Volland and he turns the ball back across goal to give Schipplock a simple tap in. Game on!
33'
I wouldn't be getting too carried away if I was a Dortmund fan just yet. BVB still look shaky on the ball and have surrendered a leading position on three separate occasions this season already.
31'
That is the 67th goal Hoffenheim have conceded in 2012. Not a vintage year for the Sinsheim defence then.
28'
Hoffenheim are almost afforded an immediate reprieve as the Dortmund defence can't decide which one of them will clear the ball. Eventually though Hummels gets his boot to it before Schipplock can reach it.
26'
M. Götze has scored a goal for Borussia Dortmund! Assist by M. Leitner.
GOALL!!! Well there's some creativity for you! Leitner finds Gotze on the edge of the area and the little magician cuts it onto his right foot and fires past Casteels at his near post. 1-0 to Dortmund!
23'
Oh dear. The visitors don't seem to have much in the way of going forward at the moment and they actually resort to thumping the ball into the box where Lewandowski is penalised for backing into Casteels. They're lacking creativity for the moment.
20'
Schipplock fires wide as the hosts continue to press for the opener. No joy yet for the hosts but they've had very little to contend with at the other end of the park.
18'
A few chances beginning to emerge for the hosts. Fabian Johnson has the best of them when he meets a deep floated free-kick but he nods over the bar despite beating Weidenfeller to the ball.
16'
Oooh, that is an important tackle by Hummels. Sven Schipplock is played into the BVB area but the German international gets across well to dispossess the Hoffenheim no.9.
13'
Both side's recent form has been poor by their own standards and the opening sparring has been scrappy. Gotze hits the first shot on target of the match but it's easily gathered by Koen Casteels.
11'
A handball given against Blaszczykowski gives the hosts a free-kick in a dangerous position but it's thumped straight into the wall and the chance is wasted.
9'
Dortmund are just beginning to flaunt their technical superiority with a couple of neat passes but they can't break down the Hoffenheim defence just yet.
6'
Hoffenheim are flying in with the early challenges, they look up for this. The first half-chance of the game falls the way of Dortmund however but Casteels is quick to react to a loose ball in the box and beats Lewandowski to it.
4'
A fairly tight opening moments here, both sides are struggling to keep hold of the ball.

Good afternoon and welcome to Goal.com's coverage for Borussia Dortmund's Bundesliga clash with Hoffenheim. The league champions will be looking to return to winning ways today after a couple of farcical decisions saw them lose their third game of the campaign last weekend. But what of their opponents today?
Well to put it frankly, Hoffenheim are in trouble. They've only recently sacked their coach Markus Babbel and they were soundly beaten by Hamburg last weekend when interim trainer Frank Kramer took charge. They currently occupy the relegation play-off spot and are 7 points behind Wolfsburg in 15th.
We are about 5 minutes away from kick off here so lets quickly get some team news, starting with the hosts. HOFFENHEIM: Casteels, Beck, Compper, Delpierre, Johnson, Schrock, Rudy, Weis, Salihovic, Schipplock, Volland. SUBS: Grahl, Ochs, Firmino, Usami, Streker, Derdiyok, Joselu.
And this is how the visitors shape up. DORTMUND: Weidenfeller, Subotic, Hummels, Bender, Gundogan, Gotze, Kuba, Grosskreutz, Leitner, Lewandowski, Reus. SUBS: Langerak, Santana, Perisic, Kirch, Hofmann, Schieber.
So the teams are out at the Rhein Neckar Arena and we are a few moments away from kick-off. Hoffenheim go in for their pre-match huddle, while the away side go for a more convential high-five approach.
So all is not well for the Sinsheim outfit, but they can take heart from their head to head record with Dortmund. They have only lost twice to BVB since their promotion to the Bundesliga in 2008. Not a bad record against a side that has been crowned league champions for the past two years running.
There is no added time and that is the half. A close affair with 1-1 probably a fair reflection on the action so far. The visitors went ahead with a lovely strike from Gotze but they've offered little else and Schipplock's equaliser was nothing but deserved and sets up a thrilling second half.
So Dortmund let slip a lead for the fourth time this season. They really are a shadow of their former selves at the moment and Jurgen Klopp will be wondering what he has to do to change that. A lack of recognised fullbacks hasn't helped their cause so far but they would expect to be in front against one of the Bundesliga strugglers.
Hoffenheim on the other hand will be pretty chuffed by their opening forty-five and may be even a little aggrieved to be level. One chance and once goal for the visitors but that's what happens when you come up against proven quality sides. They don't even need an invitation.
Hoffenheim are back out and so are Dortmund. We are about to get back underway at the Rhein Neckar Arena.
FULL TIME: HOFFENHEIM 1-3 DORTMUND. Jurgen Klopp's side make amends for last weekends debacle and they close the gap on Bayern. Three really classy goals from the visitors who ran away with it in the second half. Hoffenheim have now suffered 6 defeats on the bounce and can well and truly consider themselves relegation candidates now.
That's it for Goal.com's live text commentary from the Rhein Neckar Arena. Thanks for your company this afternoon and be sure to stick around on the site for reaction to Dortmund's victory. We will be back with more Bundesliga action after the Winter break so until then, I've been Harry Slavin, a Merry Christmas to you all and a Happy New Year!
