Napoli look set to hold on to the three points and close the gap on Serie A leaders Roma to two points, at least temporarily. Fiorentina have lost their head of steam with Juan Cuadrado sent off.
90' +1
J. Cuadrado gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
Drama at the Artemio Franchi as another red card is given! Juan Cuadrado is sent to the stands with a second yellow card - both for simulation - though replays suggest that contact was evident this time. Harsh on the Fiorentina star.
89'
Into the final minute of normal time we go. Christian Maggio must be biting his fingernails in the changing room - he'll be in for a lot of stick if Napoli concede!
87'
The longer this game drags on at 2-1, the less convinced I am that Napoli are going to let the ball drop. Fiorentina are doing all the right things effort-wise but the gaps are few and far between in the visitors' defence and the clinical creativity is lacking slightly.
85'
Close from Giuseppe Rossi again! An instinctive diving header from the forward flies past the goal and Fiorentina's profligacy in the second half continues.
84'
Jose Callejon puts the ball out for a corner as Napoli cling on to the potential three points with every sinue.
83'
J. Vargas enters the game and replaces M. Pasqual.
82'
Fiorentina are continuing to press but there's no immediate advantage from the visitors having one player fewer. The home crowd at the Artemio Franchi are getting restless.
81'
P. Armero enters the game and replaces G. Pandev.
80'
C. Maggio gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
RED CARD! Christian Maggio has been given his marching orders with 10 minutes left on the clock! The defender barges into Ryder Matos, tries to feign pain when Fiorentina substitute tumbles to the floor but the referee sees through his charade and the home side will play the remainder of the game with an extra man!

Description
78'
Napoli really have dug in. Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella is stood on the touchlines, crossed arms and frowns all around.
76'
M. Compper gets yellow.
Ryder Matos enters the game and replaces Joaquín.
Where will these two teams stand if the scores stay the same? *Gets out calculator* Well, Napoli will either be second or third, depending on whether Juventus score any more against Catania (they're currently 4-0 up). Fiorentina will slip down a spot to sixth as Hellas Verona are currently leading Sampdoria 1-0.
74'
What a save from Pepe Reina! Giuseppe Rossi finds a pocket of space and lurches a shot towards goal from 20 yards with his left foot, but the on-loan-from-Liverpool goalkeeper tips the Fiorentina striker's curler around the post.
72'
Goran Pandev is marauding around up front on his own with Gonzalo Higuain off the pitch. Jose Callejon's on his feet and shaking off the battering his knee was given a few minutes ago.
71'
M. Vecino enters the game and replaces A. Aquilani.
70'
Jose Callejon is grounded, holding his knee, in what looks like a fair bit of pain. Play halts at the ex-Real Madrid winger is given treatment.
68'
Napoli may not have attacked much in this second half so far, but they've shown impressive defensive nous to keep the hosts at bay. They still lead 2-1 but they'll do well to remember Fiorentina's second-half, storming comeback at home to Juventus recently...
66'
L. Insigne enters the game and replaces D. Mertens.
65'
Giuseppe Rossi goes close! The Italy international drags his shot wide from the most acute of angles as the home fans gasp with frustration, knowing an equaliser is not necessarily an unlikely occurrence at this rate.
64'
Another yellow! The cards have been flowing in this second half, this time Borja Valero is the one to be cautioned for having a right good rant at the referee due to him refusing to give a penalty when Giuseppe Rossi throws himself to the floor with a dive that ought to take place in a swimming pool.
63'
Borja Valero gets yellow.
62'
M. Hamšík enters the game and replaces G. Higuaín.
Substitution time for Gonzalo Higuain, who is hauled off for the ever-mesmerising Marek Hamsik. A sign of Rafa Benitez wanting to scale back Napolo's attacking efforts, or will the Slovakian play further forwards than usual?
60'
Raúl Albiol gets yellow.
Pepe Reina was caught out position in the set piece but Fiorentina fail to test his goal. Napoli counterattacked - and Gonzalo Higuain did excellent to keep the ball in at the byline - and they win a corner for their efforts. Nothing comes of that either, though, and Raul Albiol is booked for the most cynical, time-recovering challenge on Joaquin imaginable.
59'
Christian Maggio gets in a crucial block as Fiorentina attack down the left of the box, but the Viola have a corner.
57'
The hosts, Fiorentina, are certainly the dominant force, with an equaliser looking more likely than Napoli extending their lead. Rafa Benitez's side are essentially camped in their final third, one or two of their attackers aside.
56'
V. Behrami gets yellow.
54'
J. Cuadrado gets yellow.
Well, well, well! Hats off to the referee, who saw something that was not immediately obvious. Juan Cuadrado weaved and dribbled his way impressively towards the box before taking a tumble as he finally reached the 18-yard region. The official was having none of the Fiorentina attacker's antics, however, and he swiftly books him for diving. Replays show he was spot on.
52'
The second half has begun at a stop-and-start tempo that's not exactly easy on the eye. Dries Mertens goes down in the box, the referee has a good stare at the Napoli player but eventually opts not to give anything in the floored player's favour. Probably rightly so, too, he went down with alarming ease.
50'
Valon Behrami gets penalised 35 yards from goal but Fiorentina skipper Manuel Pasqual's ball is easily cleared by the visitors.
49'
Gonzalo Higuain's not had the impact he might have wanted so far tonight - will he star in the second half? He does well to win the ball under pressure after a looped ball over the top, but he quickly fails to control it and the ball tumbles out play at pace.
48'
Borja Valero gets himsef in trouble for thumping Napoli goalscorer Jose Callejon on the ear 'accidentally'. Just a word of warning from the referee, nothing more.
46'
Fiorentina get the second half under way at the Artemio Franchi!
36'
D. Mertens has scored a goal for Napoli! Assist by G. Higuaín.
28'
Penalty goal scored by G. Rossi for Fiorentina!
27'
C. Maggio gets yellow.
22'
G. Pandev gets yellow.
12'
José Callejón has scored a goal for Napoli! Assist by G. Higuaín.
Full-time! Fiorentina 1-2 Napoli! A super defensive performance in the second half from the Partenopei, who kept the Viola at bay as both sides saw a player apiece sent off in the final 10 minutes.

Hello and welcome to Goal's second-half coverage of Fiorentina v Napoli! We just couldn't resist bringing you a slice of the top-of-the-table Serie A action after what was an extremely first half. I'm Miles Chambers and I'll be your commentator for the remainder of this evening!
No changes to either side as Napoli and Fiorentina make their way back out on to the pitch. As a reminder, Jose Callejon opened the scoring for Rafa Benitez's men with a stunning volley early on before Giuseppe Rossi levelled from the spot. However, Dries Mertens returned the visitors to a winning position before the close of the first half. So, 2-1 it stands but hopefully we'll have plenty more in store!
