Alonso pumps a long free kick into the box and Andres races off of his line bravely to punch the ball clear. With that, the referee blows the final whistle!
90' +3
Real Madrid continue to pour forward and Di Maria wins a corner off the legs off Betran. Alonso rises highest to meet the Argentine's delivery but the ball bounces wide of the target. Was that the final chance for Real Madrid?
90' +1
Jese has looked lively since coming on for the visitors and he finds space down the right again but his cross into the box cannot find Benzema. We're into four minutes of stoppage time here.
89'
CHANCE FOR REAL MADRID! Di Maria produces some neat footwork to jink past Loties but his low right-footed strike is saved excellently by Andres down low to his right.
88'
Every Osasuna tackle and interception is being cheered by the home support here as they continue to keep Ronaldo and Co. at bay. It doesn't seem as if he will surpass Hugo Sanchez's landmark today.
86'
Manuel Onwu enters the game and replaces Oriol Riera.
Osasuna are just hoping to run down the clock here and Gracia opts to make his final change, introducing Onwu for the goalscorer Riera, who receives a standing ovation from the fans.
85'
Jese looks to make an instant impact and he races down the right before his low cross into the box is well intercepted by Damia. Can Osasuna hold on for the final five minutes?
84'
Jesé enters the game and replaces Isco.
Real Madrid respond with a substitution of their own as Isco, who has scored one and set up another, comes off to be replaced by Jese. Can the youngster make a name for himself here?
81'
R. Loé enters the game and replaces E. Armenteros.
We have just under ten minutes remaining here. Can Real Madrid complete a remarkable comeback?
The atmosphere is tense among the home crowd now and Javi Gracia hopes to hold onto the point as he introduces Loe in place of Armenteros.
80'
Pepe has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by Isco.
GOOOALL REAL MADRID! It doesn't take the visitors long to take advantage of that dismissal as Isco crosses an inviting cross into the box which Pepe meets at will, thumping a header beyond Andres. It's 2-2!

Description
79'
F. Silva gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
SILVA SENT OFF! The Osasuna midfielder receives a second yellow card after a rash lunge on Ronaldo. He can have no excuses with that one. It's ten men apiece in Pamplona.
77'
Real Madrid are desperately searching for the equaliser and Ronaldo once again goes down dramatically in the box with the referee refusing to be fooled and waving away his appeals.
76'
Oier enters the game and replaces Roberto Torres.
Osasuna make their first change of the game as Oier Sanjurjo comes on to replace Torres. Will his miss prove costly?
75'
F. Silva gets yellow.
Silva becomes the fifth Osasuna player to be cautioned after he trips Carvajal. Gracia is preparing his first substitution here.
74'
Di Maria has struggled to have the desired impact since coming on for Bale and he watches on as his shot is deflected into the gloves of Andres. Osasuna are just over fifteen minutes away from a famous victory.
72'
WHAT A CHANCE FOR OSASUNA! Torres receives the ball on the left corner of the box after it somehow finds its way all across the Real Madrid box from Cejudo's low cross. However, with the goal gaping, he can only fire straight at Diego Lopez who does well to save the rebound. That was the chance for Osasuna!
69'
Benzema has hardly touched the ball in this half and Ronaldo is cutting an increasingly frustrated figure. Is it going to be one of those days for Real Madrid?
68'
Bertran has got forward excellently for Osasuna down the right and Armenteros picks him out once again but this time Real Madrid defend well to head clear his teasing cross.
67'
Riera has been a constant thorn in the Real Madrid defence and he competes with Pepe in the air. The ball falls kindly for Silva on the edge of the box but he can only slice his half volley high over the crossbar.
65'
Nacho enters the game and replaces L. Modrić.
Ancelotti has decided that he wants Alonso to return to his midfield role and he introduces the young Nacho in place of Modric. There are 25 minutes remaining here, can Real Madrid find the equaliser?
64'
You have to credit this Osasuna team because they are determined to attack and find that crucial third goal to regain the two-goal cushion. Armenteros hopes to poke a ball through for Lolo but Carvajal makes the interception.
62'
Alonso is sitting in the central defensive position alongside Pepe when Osasuna break and he is again called into action as he produces a superb last-ditch clearance to deny Riera from meeting Bertran's low cross. Carlo Ancelotti's side are playing a dangerous game here.
60'
We are approaching the hour mark and Osasuna are still leading. Just how damaging could this prove to be for Real Madrid's title hopes if they cannot find the equaliser?
58'
SO CLOSE FROM RONALDO! Modric and Isco exchange passes excellently on the edge of the box and the former Malaga playmaker plays a neat ball out to Ronaldo on the left who shoots across Andres and narrowly past the post.
56'
That substitution seems a logical solution from Ancelotti as Bale had really been struggling to get into the game. Can Di Maria make an impression?
55'
Á. Di María enters the game and replaces G. Bale.
Di Maria is stripped and ready to go on the touchline. The Argentine enters the field in place of Bale.
53'
Armenteros has looked dangerous from set pieces but this is not one of his finer efforts as his drilled low free kick is well held by Lopez.
52'
With Ramos already sent off, Pepe needs to keep his cool here. The Portuguese defender wildly shoulder barges Armenteros to the floor after the referee had blown the whistle to signal the free kick. The home fans express their discontent.
50'
ALONSO TO THE RESCUE! With Real Madrid pouring bodies forward in search of the equaliser, they are leaving themselves vulnerable to the counter attack. Riera attempts to pick out the unmarked Torres in the middle but Alonso anticipates the danger excellently to make a vital interception.
48'
Real Madrid have come out of the blocks again quickly at the start of this half but they are refusing to force the pass and they build-up their attack patiently. Marcelo drills in a low cross from the left but Cejudo is in the right place to intercept and launch a counter attack for the hosts which eventually comes to nothing.
46'
The referee blows his whistle and Real Madrid get the second half underway. There appear to be no substitutions at the break. Can they fight back from a goal down and a man down? Let's find out...
45'
Roberto Torres gets yellow.
Isco has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by Cristiano Ronaldo.
ISCO PULLS ONE BACK! Maybe it's not all over for Real Madrid! Isco gives them a glimmer of hope as he collects Ronaldo's pass outside the box before sending a stunning low drive into the bottom corner, which Andres can only get a hand to. What a first half this has been.
44'
Sergio Ramos gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
42'
Osasuna are not giving up hope of scoring another themselves however and they break with Torres. He picks out Riera 30 yards from goal but the striker cannot complete his hat trick as he drags a left-footed shot well wide of the target.
41'
SO CLOSE FOR RONALDO! The Ballon d'Or favourtie goes within inches of pulling one back for Real Madrid when he shifts the ball onto his right foot outside the box before curling an effort agonisingly past the top corner.
39'
Oriol Riera has scored a goal for Osasuna!
GOOOOALLLL! ORIOL RIERA MAKES IT 2-0 TO OSASUNA! The hosts are in dreamland here as Diego Lopez makes a brilliant save to deny Damia's header from Armenteros' corner. However, Riera is the quickest to react and he heads home the rebound. Ancelotti looks bemused on the touchline.
38'
Diego Lopez has looked uncharacteristically shaky and he collides with Ramos as he flaps at a cross from the left. The Osasuna pressure seems to be getting to Real Madrid.
37'
The red shirts are pressing Real Madrid all over the pitch and Bale in particular is really struggling to get on the ball. Javi Gracia's gameplan seems to be working so far.
35'
Damià gets yellow.
This referee is certainly not afraid to brandish the cards and Damia is the next player to be cautioned after he is alleged to have caught Bale with a flailing arm as the pair contested a header.
34'
Ronaldo goes down inside the Osasuna penalty box theatrically as he feels that he has been fouled from a corner. However, the referee calls his bluff and allows play to continue.
33'
OSASUNA GO CLOSE! Armenteros has looked dangerous from set pieces and he tests Lopez with a fizzing free kick from an acute angle. The home fans are really behind their side here as they look to climb away from the relegation zone.
31'
Ramos is not a stranger to going into the referee's notebook but he is unfortunate to do so here as he is accused of fouling Cejudo.
30'
Sergio Ramos gets yellow.
RONALDO TRIES HIS LUCK AGAIN! Real Madrid break dangerously and Ronaldo exchanges passes with Bale outside the box before curling a powerful effort wide of the top right-hand corner. Thirty minutes gone and Osasuna still have their clean sheet.
28'
Ronaldo steps up to take the free kick but his effort is disappointing and strikes Loties in the Osasuna wall. It's not been his day so far.
26'
Cejudo gets yellow.
Cejudo becomes the third player to be cautioned after his late tackle on Marcelo. There is a stoppage in play as Torres receives some treatment and Ancelotti takes the time to give Ramos some instructions on the touchline.
25'
Real Madrid have responded well to going behind but they have not tested Andres as much as Ancelotti would have liked. Bale skips past Arribas down the right but his cross is overhit and lands on the top of the goal.
23'
Benzema is functioning as the playmaker for Real Madrid and he chips a neat ball over the top of the defence for Ronaldo to chase but the Portugal international can only lob the ball over Andres and onto the roof of the net.
21'
That Oriel Riera goal will particularly please Barcelona fans as the 27-year-old spent two years at the Catalan outfit between 2004 and 2006, despite not featuring for the first team.
20'
Pepe gets yellow.
Pepe becomes the first Real Madrid player to be booked after he is adjudged to have fouled Riera when the pair both jumped for a header.
19'
I have just seen that penalty incident again and it does seem that Modric was fouled by Arribas. The Rojillos have got away with that one.
18'
The Real Madrid players scream for a penalty when Modric appears to be tripped inside the box. However, the referee is not interested and waves away the appeals.
17'
Incidentally, that is Oriol Riera's sixth league goal of the season. How crucial his goals may prove to be in steering Osasuna away from the drop zone.
16'
Oriol Riera has scored a goal for Osasuna! Assist by Marc Bertrán.
14'
WHAT A CHANCE FOR TORRES! Armenteros' quick free kick catches Madrid asleep at the back and Torres lifts the ball over the advancing Lopez but also over the crossbar. The linesman has his flag raised but I think he was level there.
12'
Alejandro Arribas gets yellow.
Arribas picks up the first booking of the game after a mistimed tackle on Carvajal. He will need to be careful now.
11'
WHAT A MISS FROM RONALDO! I can't quite believe he has put that wide. Benzema plays a good pass into Isco on the edge of the box and the young Spaniards flicks the ball delightfully into Ronaldo's path, who unmarked, can only fire wide of the left post. Let-off for Osasuna.
10'
Bale gets onto the ball for the first time out on the right and he shifts it onto his preferred left foot before stinging the fingertips of Andres with a rasping low drive.
8'
CHANCE FOR OSASUNA! Armenteros free kick into the box is flicked on by Lolo at the back post and with Diego Lopez scrambling, Ramos just manages to hack the ball clear. Moments later, the home side have a penalty appeal turned down after the referee adjudges that the ball did not strike Alonso's arm.
6'
GREAT CHANCE FOR RONALDO! Carlo Ancelotti's side have dominated the opening exchanges here and Marcelo's drilled cross from the left finds Ronaldo inside the box. However, he cannot get the ball under control and his poked shot towards goal is well blocked.
4'
Real Madrid are on the front foot here and Benzema slips a neat pass in to Ronaldo on the left side of the box. However, Loties anticipates the danger and gets across brilliantly to make a crucial sliding interception.
2'
Isco has shown some neat touches in the opening minutes and he finds Ronaldo outside the box who spins away from his marker brilliantly before firing wildly over the bar.
1'
The referee blows his whistle and Osasuna get the game underway. However, Armenteros immediately runs into traffic and Real Madrid win possession.
Osasuna currently occupy 16th position in the La Liga table and are just one point above the relegation zone, having lost four of their last six league games. However, they did impress in the Copa Del Rey last weekend, holding Malaga to a 3-3 draw.
REAL MADRID (4-3-3): Lopez; Carvajal, Ramos, Pepe, Marcelo; Alonso, Modric, Isco; Ronaldo, Benzema, Bale.
Osasuna recall top goalscorer Oriol Riera to the starting lineup after he missed the 3-3 Copa Del Rey draw with Malaga whilst Andres replaces Asier Riesgo between the sticks. Miguel Angel de las Cuevas is ruled out with an elbow injury whilst Francisco Punal is suspended after being sent off in the 3-0 defeat to Valencia.
After sitting out the 2-0 UEFA Champions League win over FC Copenhagen in midweek, Daniel Carvajal, Sergio Ramos and Diego Lopez are all restored to the starting lineup with Alvaro Arbeloa, Nacho and Iker Casillas dropping out. Luka Modric has shaken off a injury to start in central midfield and Cristiano Ronaldo is looking to overtake Hugo Sanchez's 164-goal league total for Real Madrid.
Real Madrid are unbeaten in 29 of their last 31 matches and have won more games (42) and scored more goals (148) against Osasuna than any other team in the history of La Liga.
The two sides emerge from the tunnel to a fantastic atmosphere at the El Sadar Stadim. Osasuna are in their traditional red shirts with Real Madrid in their familiar white jerseys.
Real Madrid have the opportunity to join Barcelona and Atletico Madrid at the top of the La Liga table this afternoon when they travel to face lowly Osasuna. Carlo Ancelotti's side have racked up five straight league wins and are fresh from their Champions League qualification, having beaten Copenhagen 2-0 in midweek. However, Real Madrid have only won on one of their last five visits to the El Sadar Stadium. Can they defeat Javi Gracia's side today? Bringing you all the action from Pamplona, my name is Max Bentley.
HT: Osasuna 2-1 Real Madrid. The referee brings a stunning first half to a close. Javi Gracia's side got off to the perfect start when former Barcelona striker Oriol Riera opened the scoring with a bullet header before doubling the hosts' lead when reacting quickest after Diego Lopez had denied Damia from a corner. Sergio Ramos' 18th career red card seemed to put the result beyond Carlo Ancelotti's side but Isco's strike on the stroke of half-time has given them hope. Let's hope for more in the second half.
FT: Osasuna 2-2 Real Madrid. The hosts are denied a famous victory after a tremendous comeback from Carlo Ancelotti's side. An Oriel Riera double gave Los Rojillos a two-goal lead and it seemed that Real Madrid's defeat was consigned when Sergio Ramos received his 18th career red card. However, Isco's low drive on the stroke of half-time gave the visitors hope and they completed the comeback through Pepe's header after Francisco Silva was sent off. Brilliant entertainment at the El Sadar.
Despite that comeback, it must be considered as two points lost for Carlo Ancelotti's side who fail to join Barcelona and Atletico Madrid at the top of the La Liga table. I imagine the Italian will have some harsh words for Ramos and his side.
That result helps to lift Osasuna to two points above the relegation zone and Javi Gracia will be delighted with his team's performance despite surrendering a two-goal lead. Osasuna return to action in midweek when they face Malaga at home in the Copa Del Rey after drawing 3-3 in the first leg.
As for Real Madrid, they will be hoping that Atletico Madrid and Barcelona slip up when they face Valencia and Villarreal respectively. Carlo Ancelotti's side hope to secure progress to the next round of the Copa Del Rey in midweek as they will look to overcome Olimpic de Xativa after their shock 0-0 first leg. Thanks for joining me, Max Bentley, on this live commentary. Until next time, goodbye.
