G. Higuaín has scored a goal for Napoli! Assist by F. Ghoulam.
HIGUAIN HAS BROKEN INTER HEARTS! From a clever throw-in, the Argentine shrugs off Ranocchia and advances on goal, where he curls in a clinical finish! Surely that's it!
90' +2
Guarin cracks a speculative effort over the top of the bar after showing good strength to hold off a challenge. Starting to get desperate now with stoppage time almost over.
90' +1
A. Ranocchia gets yellow.
90'
Yellow card for Ranocchia for blocking Higuain on a potential Napoli break. The speed from the striker looked dangerous for a moment, but he was cynically bodied to the turf.
88'
Now or never for these sides with extra time coming up fast on the horizon. Mertens hooks a threatening cross into the area that Carrizo gets a crucial hand to, with a player free at the far post!
86'
Dodô enters the game and replaces D. Santon.
Inter have been a lot better at defending crosses in this half - both in preventing the initial ball and in getting a head first to the delivery. Ranocchia heads away a Mertens delivery with confidence.
84'
F. Ghoulam enters the game and replaces J. de Guzmán.
Albiol's cross is headed away by Juan, but it falls for De Guzman to have a strike from the top of the D. However, Carrizo saves comfortably. He's had little to do in this half, a far cry from the barrage of shots that he faced in the first period.
82'
Guarin feeds Brozovic, who spins on a dime and attempts to hook a ball into Icardi, who was peeling towards the far post. However, the pass is over-hit and goes out for a goal kick.
80'
Mertens wriggles past two challenges on the left-hand side and appears to be shaping up for the finish. However, he's eventually crowded out, but a sign of the danger that Benitez is hoping that the substitute will provide.
Minute
Description
78'
Napoli win a free kick which is whipped into the heart of the area. Inter can't get the ball away far enough on the initial clearance, and Lopez, under pressure, whacks a powerful effort off target.
76'
M. Gabbiadini enters the game and replaces M. Hamšík.
Benitez has also been busy on the touchline. Moments after swapping out Callejon for Mertens, he pulls Hamsik for Gabbiadini. New-look attacking midfield trio now for the hosts, though Gabbiadini could well push forward to dovetail with Higuain.
74'
F. Guarín enters the game and replaces Hernanes.
Hernanes has been withdrawn for Inter, and on comes Guarin. The Colombian got into a spat with Inter fans over the weekend after the Sassuolo loss, tossing his shirt into the crowd and hilariously having it thrown right back at him. However, he did score against Napoli in the league this season, so Mancini is clearly hoping that lightning strikes twice.
73'
D. Mertens enters the game and replaces José Callejón.
72'
Strinic and Koulibaly, the Napoli full-backs, have both been extremely sound tonight. They've picked their moments to get forward, but their main contributions have been defensive, marshaling the Inter wide players into cul-de-sacs.
70'
Mancini's side have definitely improved in the second half but their final ball is still a thing of mystery. However, their midfield has been a lot quicker to get back in a defensive position when they lose the ball.
68'
Shaqiri opted to cut in a lot during the first half, but he's been taking his man to the byline to swing crosses in since the restart. A few of his hanging deliveries have had some promise, but none of his teammates have been able to profit.
66'
Not much to report in terms of goalmouth action. This second half has been more of an even affair, with Inter preventing Napoli from punishing them on the counter.
64'
G. Puşcaş gets yellow.
Puscas' next contribution is to chop down Albiol, earning him a yellow card. Fourth booking for Inter.
62'
ANDUJAR HAS TO MAKE A SAVE! Icardi pulls off a lovely lay-off for Puscas to run onto, and the 18-year-old takes aim for the top corner, but a strong hand from the keeper pushes it over!
60'
Hernanes manufactures space at the top of the box to get a shot away, but it ends up being way off target. Just about an hour gone here and it's still goalless between Napoli and Inter.
58'
There's a ruckus as Gargano and Jesus collide in a challenge. It looked accidental, and there seemed to be little more than momentum dealing the damage. However, Gargano feels that there was some intent and gets to scrapping. The referee douses the flames by booking him and Medel, who led the Inter reaction.
57'
G. Medel gets yellow.
56'
W. Gargano gets yellow.
Shaqiri can't find a teammate with a free kick and De Guzman races away down the left on the break. He has one man beat for pace, but Nagatomo does a brilliant job to keep abreast of the midfielder and get his body in the way.
54'
Nagatomo uses his considerable speed to burst down the left, opening up a four-on-three break for Inter. However, with multiple unmarked options to pick out, the Japanese full-back misses everyone with his low cross. Shaqiri looks stunned that nothing came of that move.
52'
Some real skill by Hernanes to shake off a challenge from De Guzman and set Puscas away down the right. However Koulibaly, who has not put a foot wrong tonight, is there to meet him.
50'
Hamsik hooks in a dangerous cross with Higuain waiting for the connection, but Ranocchia marks the striker well and gets his head to the ball first. The hosts just seem more dangerous every single time they attack.
48'
Nagatomo is away down the left-hand side, but Koulibaly is able to block with far too much ease at the near post. The end product from the Nerazzurri has been non-existent.
46'
We're off again!
45'
OVER THE BAR AND ANOTHER CHANCE WASTED! Napoli are stockpiling missed opportunities here. A hanging ball to the back post is headed back into the mixer by Strinic and falls kindly for Koulibaly at the top of the six, but he awkwardly side-foots it into the sky!
44'
GOOD CHANCE FOR NAPOLI! Gargano slides a ball that was intended for Callejon down the right, but Higuain takes it on instead. He can't sort his feet out in time and is tackled, but the Partenopei recover the loose ball and hook it back in for Callejon, who guides a header right down the throat of Carrizo.
42'
Time starting to run out fast in this half, and it looks like we'll be heading into the break goalless. Inter have been measured on the ball in recent minutes, but they're still struggling to create danger with the same frequency as Napoli.
40'
Juan Jesus becomes the second booking of the game for wrestling Koulibaly to the turf. He looks to have some words for the Napoli defender, but the referee gets in between them.
39'
Juan Jesus gets yellow.
38'
Lopez and Gargano have been excellent at closing down the space in front of the back four. They've been patrolling that area well, and Inter are being forced into some rushed decisions.
36'
SOMEHOW IT'S NOT 1-0! Hamsik bursts forward completely unencumbered through the middle, and drills a shot on goal that Carrizo parries back into contention. Higuain attacks the rebound and Callejon is already peeling away in celebration, but Carrizo recovers just in time to put his body on top of the ball!
34'
Koulibaly plants a header into the arms of Carrizo, as Napoli continue to flood men forward on every break. Inter have been slow to get their midfielders back to defend against the counter attack.
32'
Napoli have had the majority of the chances in this game, but Inter have come the closest to breaking the deadlock, with that Brozovic shot that hit the post. A tight yet exciting contest, this.
30'
Strinic plays an absolute beauty of a pass inside the full back for Higuain to chase, and an equally commendable run from the Argentine sees him pick up the ball goalside of his man. However, he runs out of room at the near post as Carrizo comes out to meet him!
28'
OVER THE BAR! De Guzman delivers a delicious ball that is knocked down threateningly inside the area, which Callejon then attacks viciously. Carrizo would have been helpless had he got that one on target, but there's too much power in it and it flies over.
26'
Brozovic has shown real desire so far, but he's been a bit selfish in the final reckoning. He strides through the middle and has options peeling away either side of him, but he holds onto the ball for too long and Gargano can make a superb recovery challenge.
24'
A more tempestuous contest in the offing now, as both sides put plenty of fight behind their midfield pressing and jockeying. You get the sense that both teams just want to run at pace, but their advances have typically broken down before the killer ball has been released.
22'
X. Shaqiri gets yellow.
First yellow card of the game goes to Shaqiri, who looks bemused at the decision. He has no reason to complain though, since he slid in hard on Strinic, and got nowhere near the ball.
20'
A feisty last two minutes, with challenges flying in. A late whistle denies Shaqiri a run on goal during a three-on-two break, to the obvious frustration of the Switzerland winger.
18'
Hernanes and Brozovic combine to work the ball wide-right for Shaqiri. The Switzerland international cuts in to have a crack with his left foot, but it ends up being an anticipated effort and a routine save for Andujar. Good positioning by the goalkeeper.
16'
The game has been stopped as Higuain falls victim to the momentum of a challenge and is attended to by the physios. The Argentine slid in on Brozovic, but an unintentional landing foot by the Croatian did the damage.
15'
A really intriguing contest developing here. Napoli have shown their counter-attacking chops twice already, but Inter's poise in possession is becoming more apparent. That last Brozovic chance should give them encouragement.
13'
OFF THE FOOT OF THE POST! So unlucky for Brozovic, who had a chance to get off the mark for his new club! The midfielder strides past a roughhouse challenge to plant a 25-yarder onto the base of the woodwork. Andujar was beaten!
11'
Napoli are just sniffing out these Inter mistakes and attacking with unrelenting pace. They're allowing the visitors to monopolize the ball, sitting deep but keeping Callejon, Higuain and De Guzman on the toes of the Nerazzurri back four.
9'
JUST LIKE THAT! Higuain wastes a GLORIOUS chance to put the Partenopei ahead, as another Inter breakdown allows the hosts a rush down the right. The cross is hooked above Ranocchia by Callejon, and el Pipita attacks it with a free header, but it's over! Should at least be hitting the target from that range.
7'
Despite that last chance, this has been a positive start from Inter, who are moving the ball well in the middle third. They have to be wary of pushing their defensive line too far forward though, as Napoli can pick them off on the break.
5'
Callejon nips in between two static Inter players to poke the ball into the path of Higuain. That sets the Argentine racing down the right. He splits a pair of defenders and advances into the box, but his left-footed shot is a weak and easy one for Carrizo to gobble up.
3'
The previous three Coppa Italia quarter-finals were all won by the away side. In fact, Milan, Parma and Roma did not even score a goal as Lazio, Juventus and Fiorentina progressed at their respective expense.

Here we go!
Hello and welcome to our coverage of the Coppa Italia clash between Napoli and Inter at San Paolo. Both sides have had contrasting fortunes on the pitch in 2015 and tonight represents their most realistic chance at a trophy. I'm Keeghann Sinanan, your guide for all the action.
Napoli have won six of their seven games in the new year, including a penalty-shootout victory over Udinese in the last round of this competition. Their only reverse came at the hands of Juventus in January. Rafa Benitez's men are the cup holders, and are also climbing up the Serie A table, moving to within four points of second-placed Roma.
The Roberto Mancini era hasn't worked according to plan. Inter president Erick Thohir has already had to give the Italian the dreaded vote of confidence. The Nerazzurri's form has been as patchy as ever since Mancini took over last November, with the team currently 13th in the table. Their last outing was a 3-1 defeat to Sassuolo - a side that they thrashed 7-1 at the beginning of the Serie A season.
These two sides last met in October, with a Jose Callejon brace helping Inter on their way to securing a 2-2 draw in the league. Tonight's visitors have only won one of their last six games against the Partenopei.
Napoli (4-2-3-1): Andujar; Koulibaly, Albiol, Britos, Strinic; Gargano, Lopez; Callejon, Hamsik, De Guzman; Higuain.
Inter (4-3-3): Carrizo; Nagatomo, Ranocchia, Juan Jesus, Santon; Brozovic, Medel, Hernanes; Shaqiri, Puscas, Icardi.
Five changes from Benitez following Napoli's 2-1 win over Chievo last time out. Regulars like Callejon and Marek Hamsik return, while there is also a swap between the posts, as Mariano Andujar takes the gloves from Rafael.
Mancini goes hard with eight alterations to his XI. Eighteen-year-old forward George Puscas gets a chance in the front three alongside Xherdan Shaqiri and Mauro Icardi - who still starts despite remonstrating with the fans after the Sassuolo loss. Davide Santon also makes the first start of his second spell at the club, following his loan move from Newcastle.
The referee ends the first period and Napoli are left wondering how exactly they have failed to take the lead. They've peppered Carrizo's goal time and time again, but have been guilty of a few clangers that have let Inter off the hook. Despite that, you could argue that the visitors had the best opening via a Brozovic effort that struck the post. Still 0-0 at the interval, and all to play for after the restart. Stay tuned.
Higuain pays off another chunk off his transfer fee with the most crucial of winners in a game that looked destined for extra time. Benitez works his cup magic again, and in truth, his side dominated enough in the first half to deserve their spot in the last four. The second half was a completely forgettable affair with both teams struggling to create chances until el Pipita's intervention. Napoli are through to the semi-finals, and Inter are out.
Great celebratory scenes at San Paolo to close this one out. I've been Keeghann Sinanan, and thanks for joining me.
