THERE'S THE FINAL WHISTLE! Gent are through to the knockout stages of the Champions League in their debut season!
90' +3

The final change of the night sees Depoitre make way for Gent in place of Kalifa Coulibaly, who scored a stoppage-time winner against Lyon last time out.
90' +2
Danny gets yellow.
S. Mitrović gets yellow.
A whopping seven yellow cards have been shown to Zenit this evening. as Danny now has his name taken for dissent.
Mitrović is also booked for his part in that incident.
90'
We are into stoppage time now. Can Zenit find an equaliser or will Gent hold out for the victory? Either way, the Belgians look certain to be joining their Russian opponents in the last 16.
89'
N. Lombaerts gets yellow.
Lombaerts is the fifth Zenit player into the book.
88'
K. Saief enters the game and replaces M. Simon.
Gent make their second change of the match with Simon given a well-earned rest. Kenneth Saief comes on in his place.
86'
K. Troyanov enters the game and replaces Javi García.
It is the final throw of the dice from Villas-Boas, as Konstantin Troyanov comes on for Javi Garcia.
84'
FREE HEADER! Dzyuba was able to ghost into the area unmarked to connect with the free-kick delivery, but could not hit the target from eight yards out. His blushes are spared, however, by the offside flag.
83'
Zenit also make a change with Anyukov making way to be replaced by Dmitri Bogaev.
82'
D. Bogaev enters the game and replaces A. Anyukov.
B. Dejaegere enters the game and replaces D. Miličević.
That was Miličević's last action of the game, as he is brought off to a rapturous applause to be replaced by Brecht Dejaegere.
Minute
Description
81'
That might just about do it for Gent now. They are back in front and their quest has been helped by Lyon doubling their lead against Valencia in the Mestalla.
79'
Y. Lodygin gets yellow.
D. Miličević gets yellow.
Milicevic took his shirt off during the celebrations and was rightly shown a yellow card by the referee.
Lodygin receives Zenit's fourth yellow card of the night.
78'
D. Miličević has scored a goal for Gent!
GENT BACK IN FRONT!!! That may just secure their place in the last 16! Simon is the architecht again, as his cross is only half-cleared and Miličević lashes the ball straight into the top corner past a flat-footed Lodygin.
76'
A. Yusupov gets yellow.
Yusupov also has his name taken by the referee for a clear pull on the shirt of Kums.
75'
Javi García gets yellow.
Javi Garcia is the second Zenit player into the book this evening for a challenge on Asare.
73'
It is hard to pick a winner from this game. Both sides look promising going forward, but the advantage is arguably with Zenit at the moment.
71'
We have a slight break in play, as Lodygin receives attention from the physio. There appeared to be something wrong with his eye, but he is perfectly fine to carry on.
69'
All of a sudden, Gent need to start working hard again. A draw will be enough for them as things stand, with Valencia still a goal behind against Lyon.
67'
STAT ATTACK: Dzyuba becomes the first Zenit player to score six goals in a single Champions League campaign. He has now been involved in their last five goals in this season's competition - scoring four and assisting the other.
65'
A. Dzyuba has scored a goal for Zenit!
ZENIT EQUALISER! And it had to be Dzyuba! The striker bags his sixth goal of the competition after holding off Nielsen to control Rafinha's high wayward clearance, before calmly volleying past Sels.
63'
Hopefully, that change will inject this match back into life. There is no flow or sting in it at the moment, which will suit Gent but they will still be wary.
61'
P. Dolgov enters the game and replaces A. Ryazantsev.
That change is made and Ryazantsev makes way for 19-year-old Pavel Dolgov.
60'
Asare has been lively for Gent this evening and space opened up for him to try his luck from 30 yards. There was no real venom in his effort, however, and Lodygin was easily able to gather.
58'
With things going fairly flat over the last few minutes, there is activity on the Zenit bench. Villas-Boas will look to introduce fresh legs that can spark the visitors into life and make something happen for them.
56'
Gent are finally starting to settle into their rhythm in this second half. They have spent most of it inside their own half, but are now beginning to gain a foothold in the contest.
54'
The visitors may have been dominant on the European stage, but their Premier-Liga form is quite the opposite. In fact, they have won just one of their last five league matches.
52'
Zenit must make more of their possession, though. They are yet to offer a constant threat inside Gent's final third and must if they are to secure a 100% group stage record.
50'
Villas-Boas' team talk appears to have had a positive effect on Zenit. Considering they were on the back foot for the majority of the first half, they have been very much on top in the second.
48'
Zenit have made a strong start to this second half and were close to finding an equaliser. Ryazantsev worked some space for himself before Sels had to get strong hands behind his powerful snapshot.
46'
KICK OFF: The referee blows his whistle and Zenit get the ball rolling again in the second half.
45'
The referee blows his whistle and brings the first half to a close.
44'
E. Garay gets yellow.
Garay is the first player to have his name taken by the referee after bundling over Asare. His frustration is evident but he can have no complaints.
42'
Zenit launch one of their first meaningful attacks of the game. Danny leads the charge but the ball is cleared only as far as Yusupov, who does not get a clean contact and slices his shot high and wide of the target.
41'
CLOSE! Gent almost make it two following another neat move down the right hand side. Asare is the furthest man forward as he beats his marker to latch onto the cross, but can only direct the ball straight at the keeper.
38'
The home supporters are in very good voice and they are almost celebrating again as Simon has an opportunity. He latches onto a neat lay-off from Milicevic, but shoots straight at Lodygin.
36'
Nothing comes of it, however, as a fairly poor delivery is dealt with comfortably by Zenit. The visitors need to start threatening a lot more at the other end of the field.
35'
The hosts have a free kick in a good position, here. Garay brought down Asare and Gent are awarded a free kick 30 yards out. It is slightly to the left of goal and they have sent the defenders forward for this one.
33'
STAT ATTACK: Gent may have been the underdogs coming into this game, but they will have fancied their chances. Including qualifiers, they have suffered defeat just once in their last eight European matches on this ground.
31'
CHANCE! A very stray backpass from Ryazantsev puts the ball on a plate for Depoitre to race away. Lodygin is quickly off his line, however, to make a very important save.
30'
As we hit the half-hour mark, Gent will be joining Zenit in the knockout stages as things stand. As things stand, a draw would be enough for them with Valencia currently being held by Lyon.
28'
You sense that Zenit are slowly starting to find their feet in this game. They are enjoying more possession and look to be in control whenever they have the ball.
26'
Gent deal with the set piece very well and can relax for a moment. Vanhaezebrouck can be pleased with the way his side have held their own so far, but they need to keep it going.
24'
The visitors have a good chance here. Nielsen had to come across to deal with a dangerous ball by Criscito from the left. They have a corner and will want to make the most of this opportunity.
22'
Can Zenit weather the storm? The Russian side are very much on the back foot at the moment. They are just about managing to deal with Gent's attacks, but need to gain a foothold in the contest soon.
20'
Gent are looking hungry for more after taking the lead. They do not appear to be resting on their laurels, as they continue to push forward in search of a second goal.
18'
L. Depoitre has scored a goal for Gent! Assist by M. Simon.
Simon provided a very inviting cross from the left wing.
GENT TAKE THE LEAD!!! That is just what the hosts needed! Depoitre peeled away at the near post to meet Simon's cross, before looping a header beautifully beyond the dive of Lodygin.
16'
After the game was being played to a fairly high intensity, things have slowed down a little as the natural flow has been lost. There is still plenty of time left, of course.
14'
In the group's other game, Valencia almost turned up the pressure on Gent. They thought they had taken an early lead against Lyon in Gary Neville's first game in charge, but saw their goal disallowed.
12'
This game has become very open over the past couple of minutes. Although Gent are in need of a result, both sides are going for it at a good pace here.
10'
IT JUST NEEDED A TOUCH! Zenit launch a counter attack and Danny pulls away from his marker to receive the ball on the right. He sweeps it across the six-yard area, but none of his team mates react quickly enough to turn it home.
9'
At the other end, Gent almost got themselves in behind only to be denied by the offside flag. Depoitre latched onto a neatly cushioned header into his path, but just started his run too early.
8'
Dzyuba appears to be alright now. He is no longer limping and almost latched onto a quick free kick in behind the defence, but he was rightly ruled offside.
6'
A worrying early sign for Zenit as Dzyuba pulls up near the touchline. He is their top scorer in this competition with five goals and Villas-Boas will be hopeful he can shake it off.
4'
From the resulting corner, the ball is flashed into the area. It falls kindly for Mitrovic, but the centre-half is unable to keep his shot down. Zenit can relax for a moment with a goal kick.
3'
Gent make a positive start and produce some neat link-up play down the right. Garay has to come across and make an important headed clearance from Foket's cross.
1'
KICK OFF: Portuguese referee Manuel de Sousa blows his whistle and Gent get the action underway.
Good evening and welcome to LIVE text commentary of the UEFA Champions League. We're at the Ghelamco Arena tonight for the Group H clash between KAA Gent and Zenit St. Petersburg.
With Zenit already through to the knockout stages with maximum points, second place is up for grabs in Group H. Gent will take it and become the first Belgian side to progress to the last 16 since Anderlecht in 2000-01 if they can better Valencia's result against Lyon.
Gent were held to a 2-2 draw by Zulte Waregem in the Belgian Pro League, ending a run of four straight wins. Lasse Nielsen and Danijel Milicevic have shaken off knocks and are restored to the starting line-up by Heinz Vanhaezebrouck in place of Kenneth Saief, who drops to the bench, and Erik Johansson.
Zenit are the only side in this season's competition with a 100% record. Andre Villas-Boas makes two changes to the 11 that drew with Ufa last Thursday. Javi Garcia comes in for the suspended Axel Witsel, while Aleksandr Ryazantsev starts ahead of Oleg Shatov, who drops to the bench. Hulk has been left out of the squad, as he finds himself a booking away from suspension. Nicolas Lombaerts faces his former club.
HERE THEY COME: The stadium is in fine voice as the teams make their way out onto the field. Kick off is just moments away.
HALF TIME: GENT 1-0 ZENIT
Everything is going to plan for Gent so far. They are a goal to the good thanks to Depoitre's neat header, while Valencia are trailing Lyon 1-0 at half time in the other Group H clash.
It is very important that the Belgians do not get complacent in the second half. Zenit may already have secured their progress, but Villas-Boas will still be searching for a response from his players after the break.
The teams are coming back out onto the field and the second half is imminent.
FULL TIME: GENT 2-1 ZENIT
Danijel Milicevic scored what proved to be the winner 12 minutes from time, after Artem Dzyuba had cancelled out Laurent Depoitre's first-half effort. The two teams progress to the last 16 of the competition.
That's all for tonight. Thank you for following the LIVE action of the UEFA Champions League - hope you've enjoyed it. Until next time, have a very good evening!
