Hello and welcome everyone to our live text commentary of the UEFA Champions League Group B contest between Benfica and Dynamo Kyiv from the Estadio da Luz.
Benfica have the upper hand going into this game, having beat Dynamo Kyiv 2-0 in their last meeting two weeks ago. They sit third in the group after one draw, one win and one defeat, while Kyiv are rock bottom. Sergiy Rebrov's men have only picked up one point so far and they will exit the group stages if they lose and the Napoli vs Besiktas game is not a draw.
Rui Vitoria's side are in good form of late having won four of their last five matches in all competitions, including the 3-0 win over Pacos de Ferreria last time out. As for Dynamo Kyiv, they have won just two of their last five games but they did beat Karpaty 4-1 in their last encounter.

Kick-off fast approaching now as the team's enter the tunnel.
Eduardo Salvio's penalty is the last action of the half then and in all fairness Benfica did edge it. Dynamo ended the first 45 minutes well but that costly foul in the box is the difference at the break.
Rebrov's men need to commit more bodies forward if they are to get anything from this game. They've got into some good positions but failed to kick on at the pivotal moment. As for Benfica, the home side have looked dangerous with the ball at their feet and they could add to their tally in the second-half. Whatever happens we will have all the action right here, join us for second-half coverage shortly!
The referee blows for full-time and Eduardo Salvio's penalty makes the difference in this Group B clash, that's a huge three points for Benfica.
Eduardo Salvio is the hero once again then after scoring on the stroke of half-time with his penalty. Dynamo Kyiv were not at their best but they still had a chance with their own penalty but Junior Moraes missed his opportunity. In the end Benfica deserved the three points but Dynamo look doomed at the bottom of the group.
Tonight's win puts Benfica second in the group and level on points with Napoli who drew with Besiktas earlier today. Dynamo sit fourth, five points behind their Turkish rivals with two games to play.
That's all for tonight folks, once again thanks for joining us!
