The final whistle goes and Lyon have the three points!
90' +3
GOOD SAVE! Dinamo push for a late equaliser with Knezevic latching onto a neat backheel from Fernandes, but his effort is blocked by Lopes. However, it would not have counted as Fernandes had just started his run too early.
90' +1
B. Knežević gets yellow.
Knežević goes into the book for the hosts.
90'
FOUR MINUTES! The fourth official raises his board to indicate that there will be four minutes of added time at the end of this match.
88'
M. Rybus enters the game and replaces M. Valbuena.
Valbuena is given a rest as Lyon make their final change. Maciej Rybus comes on in his place.
87'
GREAT TACKLE! Tolisso bursts through the middle and threatens to put the game to bed, but Benkovic has other ideas with a very well-timed challenge.
85'
Lyon are understandably in no real rush at this moment in time. They are knocking the ball around nicely and keeping possession well.
83'
There is a break in play as Fernandes goes down following a clash of heads in an aerial clash with Nkoulou. However, the forward is soon back on his feet and eager to continue.
81'
C. Tolisso gets yellow.
Tolisso is the next player to have his name taken by the referee.
80'
Jonas gets yellow.
Jonas is shown a yellow card for a late challenge on Valbuena. That is his second of the group stage and he will miss Dinamo's final match.
Minute
Description
78'
Better final ball needed! Fekir cleverly skipped away from a couple of challenges before jinking into the area. However, he blindly lays the ball off instead of getting his head up, and Dinamo clear the danger.
75'
Lacazette had been fairly quiet all game until that moment. When the chance arrived, he was in the right place at the right time and happy to tuck the opportunity away. How crucial could that goal prove to be for Lyon?
73'
Paulo Machado enters the game and replaces D. Pavičić.
The final throw of the dice from Petev sees him withdraw Pavičić in favour of Paulo Machado.
72'
A. Lacazette has scored a goal for Lyon! Assist by Rafael.
Rafael caps a fine individual performance with the assist for Lacazette.
BREAKTHROUGH, LYON!!! Lacazette puts them in front! Finally, the visitors' pressure pays dividends. Rafael is the architect as he races onto a neat through ball following a nice move, before he lays it across the face of goal for Lacazette to tuck away in the six-yard box.
70'
We are still goalless in Croatia heading into the final 10 minutes. Can either side find a winner here?...
68'
Fekir looks to make an immediate impact by standing over a free-kick 30 yards from goal and out to the right. However, he is unable to get the desired dip on his delivery and it goes over the bar.
66'
C. Tolisso enters the game and replaces Darder.
N. Fekir enters the game and replaces M. Cornet.
Meanwhile the second sees Cornet make way for Nabil Fekir.
Genesio opts to freshen things up by making a double substitution for Lyon. The first change sees Darder replaced by Corentin Tolisso.
64'
Rafael is trying to win this match on his own down the right flank. Yet again, he bursts forward and cuts into the penalty area before his weak shot is gathered by Livakovic.
61'
Lacazette will have been confident coming into this game, having scored four times in his last five appearances. However, the striker has been a virtual spectator so far in this second half.
59'
Meanwhile, Dinamo are also lacking a cutting edge. The hosts are yet to score in this season's Champions League and, judging by the way they have just wasted a free-kick situation, you can see why.
56'
As things stand, a win here would see Lyon cut the gap on second-placed Juventus to two points going into the final game. Juve are currently being held by Sevilla in the other Group H clash.
54'
Just like at the start of the first half, Lyon have gained the upper hand early on in the second. They have enjoyed most of the possession but need to be more creative in the final third.
52'
Jonas enters the game and replaces A. Ćorić.
That change is made with Jonas coming on in place of Coric.
50'
There is a break in play as Coric goes down injured. Jonas is already stripped off on the touchline and it looks like the Brazilian will be entering the fray shortly.
48'
GREAT SAVE! Rafael is at the thick of things again for Lyon after getting forward from right-back. He lays the ball back for Ferri to strike, but Livakovic shows great reflexes to beat it away.
46'
KICK-OFF! The referee blows his whistle and Dinamo get the ball rolling once again.
45' +2
Two minutes of stoppage time come to an end and the referee blows for half-time.
45'
SWEEPER KEEPER! Dinamo look to hit their opponents on the counter with Henriquez being released through the midd.e. However, Lopes is quick out of goal to clear the danger. Shades of Manuel Neuer there!
44'
Gonalons is leading the Lyon charge deep inside Dinamo territory. It takes a very well-timed challenge to stop the skipper in his tracks before the hosts clear.
41'
GOOD SAVE! Lyon are finishing this first half in a very strong manner. Another quick move sees the ball fall kindly for Valbuena to strike, but his powerful effort is beaten away by the flying Livakovic.
40'
Yes, just about! The visitors continue to press but their momentum is eventually halted when Lacazette is penalised for a push on Sigali.
38'
Can Dinamo weather the storm? They have been forced to concede a series of corners following a good spell of pressure from Lyon. Can they hold firm?...
36'
A. Gojak gets yellow.
Gojak is shown the first yellow card of the game for bringing down Gonalons, who was threatening to break forward on the counter. That was what is commonly known in the trade as taking one for the team!
34'
Lyon work their way into the box with Rafael finding Lacazette. The striker jinks away from a challenge before trying his luck from a tight angle but, off-balance, he can only poke the ball out for a goal-kick.
32'
NOW! NOW! There is a brief altercation between Gojak and Ferri, but the situation is quickly resolved by the referee, who gives both players a stern telling.
30'
That was just what was needed to spark Lyon back into life. The visitors appear to have regained their momentum in the contest and are back in control of possession.
28'
OFF THE BAR! Great effort by Ferri! Valbuena is the architect with some neat footwork down the right. He lays the ball back for Ferri to strike and the central midfielder's sweet strike crashes against the woodwork with Livakovic beaten.
26'
Who will take the initiative here? Both sides have slackened off a little over the past few minutes, with neither really taking charge of the contest.
24'
Dinamo need to win to still be in with a chance of extending this season's European adventure into the New Year. However, you have to go back to the 1994/95 UEFA Cup for the last time they tasted victory over French opposition - failing in each of their 11 attempts since.
21'
Lyon were 7-1 winners on their last visit to this ground in the 2011/12 Champions League. Bafetimbi Gomis scored the fastest hat-trick in the history of the competition in that game but, five years on, we are still waiting for the deadlock to be broken.
19'
Rafael is proving to be a dangerous weapon for Lyon down the right hand side. He gets forward once more and sends a cross into the box that is well-cleared by the hosts.
17'
It has been a good spell for Dinamo over the past couple of minutes. Gojak is the next player to have a go, but his effort is wide of the target.
15'
Á. Henríquez enters the game and replaces A. Mățel.
Mățel is unable to continue after that whack to the head, and is replaced by Ángelo Henríquez.
GOOD TRY! The hosts enjoy a rare venture forward into opposition territory. Situm lets fly with a looping effort that is well-watched and collected by Lopes.
12'
Meanwhile, back on the pitch, a cross to the edge of the Dinamo area is met by Lacazette, whose header is creeping towards the far corner, but Livakovic gets down well to hold.
11'
OUCH! Matel undoubtedly came out the worst of everyone in question. He took a whack to the nose, which was pouring with blood, and is currently receiving attention from the medical team on the touchline.
10'
Valbuena stands over the ball but sends his delivery straight into the four-man wall. The danger is eventually cleared and there is a slight break in play following a couple of clashes of heads in the box.
8'
Can the French side make their early dominance count? They have just been awarded a free-kick on the edge of the area after a foul by Knezevic...
6'
Rafael has got forward to good effect a couple of times already today. This time, he finds himself in the box and gets a shot away, but there is little power in his effort and Livakovic easily gathers.
5'
Genesio can have no complaints at the way his side have started this game. There is plenty of purpose in their play and they are asking questions of the home defence.
3'
The visitors have enjoyed the vast majority of possession in the opening stages of this game. They put a neat move together down the right flank, but Rafael overhits the final cross and it goes behind for a goal-kick.
1'
KICK-OFF! The referee blows his whistle and Lyon get the match underway!
Hello everyone and welcome to LIVE text commentary of the UEFA Champions League! Today, we're at the Stadion Maksimir for coverage of the Group H clash between Dinamo Zagreb and Olympique Lyonnais - it's good to have your company!
Dinamo have already been eliminated from the competition, but need to win to keep their hopes alive of dropping down into the Europa League. Meanwhile, a draw would be enough to guarantee third place for Lyon, although a win coupled of Juventus failing to beat Sevilla would leave them in with a chance of advancing to the Last 16.
The hosts were held to a 1-1 draw by Istra 1961 in the Croatian First League on Friday and Ivaylo Petev has made three changes from that game. Leonardo Sigali comes into defence and Bojan Knezevic and Amer Gojak are brought back into midfield, as Gordon Schildenfeld, Jonas and Angelo Henriquez drop to the bench. Top scorer El Arabi Hillel Soudani remains sidelined with a thigh injury, while captain Domagoj Antolic is kept out with a knee problem. Davor Lovren, Borna Sosa and Petar Stojanovic are suspended.
DINAMO ZAGREB SUBS: Semper, Jonas, Henriquez, Machado, Hodzic, Schildenfeld, Fiolic.
Bruno Genesio also makes three changes following Lyon's 1-0 win over Lille in Ligue 1 last weekend. Nicolas Nkoulou replaces Mouctar Diakhaby in the heart of defence and and Sergi Darder takes Corentin Tolisso's place in the centre of midfield, while Mathieu Valbuena returns from a shoulder injury to start on the left of a three-man attack at the expense of Maciej Rybus. Rachid Ghezzal, Christophe Jallet and Emanuel Mammana miss out through injury.
HERE THEY COME: The teams are making their way out onto the field and the iconic Champions League anthem is about to be observed. Kick-off is just moments away...
HALF-TIME: DINAMO ZAGREB 0-0 LYON
We are goalless at the break at the Stadion Maksimir. Lyon have been the better of the two sides so far, going closest to scoring when Jordan Ferri's powerful effort crashed against the crossbar. However, Dinamo have slowly grown into the match and look dangerous on the counter-attack.
The players are back out on the pitch and the second half is about to start...
FULL-TIME: DINAMO ZAGREB 0-1 LYON
Alexandre Lacazette was the hero for Lyon as his second-half strike gave them all three points in Zagreb. However, the Ligue 1 side will have to settle for a place in the Europa League after Juventus beat Sevilla 3-1 in the other match in Group H.
That's all from the Stadion Maksimir! Thank you for following the LIVE action of the UEFA Champions League - hope you've enjoyed it. Until next time, see you soon!
